hes using a yoyojam yoyo....but i suggest you get a begginers yoyo first to start learning because these yoyos are far more advanced and some require a 'bind'.if you are starting off i suggest a yoyojam speedmaker or lyn fury......the speedmaker is a plastic version of this yoyo.when you get better at yoyoing u will eventually need a better yoyo,then only should you get a yoyo like this but if your a begginer i highly suggest getting begginer yoyos.
