American Z06's are electronically limited to 308 KPH (198 MPH) and then they "reset". But Z06's shipped to Germany are not limited, and will do 333 (205 MPH).
@calimar28 I know what you mean, but it's not really possible with 512 hp it will do 333 real kms, the thing is, the US version speedos are spot on with the gps, the euro versions read about 15-20km too high, so they are just the same
I have driven on the route between Graf and HD, one time averaging 130mph the entire way cutting the normal travel time by half :) but I don't recall seeing a long enough straight away to do a top speed run. I did this run on a 3 mile straight away on A67 just pass Mannheim heading towards Frankfurt. There is also a 5 mile straightaway on A5 between Darmstadt and Frankfurt. The best time to do it is either on a weekend or a German holiday early in the morning to avoid traffic. Good luck!
300km my mark, touch and go. What kind of camera are you using? And how did you mount it? Kinda sux to talk smack when one doesnt have video to back it up. On another note, are you going down to Switz this weekend for the huge rally?
can you switch between MPH and KM on the screen in C6? Is this possible with C5 too?

@gnhoj69 We don't use 'Miles'... We're in the Metric system (kilometers).

@gnhoj69 - How does the Z06 handle the German back roads with all the twisting winding roads? I'm thinking of shipping mine. Thx

I cant wait to "try" this in my Z. I'll have to scout out some nice road between Grafenwoehr and HD. The 6 is better, but still needs improvement.
