actually the Pats have a good chance of going to the playoff as a division leader. the pats plays fair opponents for two games and the jets and dolphins must play each other week 17, if the ravens lose to the cowgirls, so if the pats finish the season 11-5(despite all the injuries) and the ravens lose one of those two game the patriots will be going to the playoffs. BTW why are you talking as if a wild card is bad. the colts can only go to the playoffs as a wildcard.

Well I've lived in central Indiana all my life, born in 88, and my dad has always been a big fan, so I grew into it. First game I ever remember is the heartbreaking 95 AFC Title loss to the Steelers. Proud to say I'm a die hard fan myself now. But wow, 71? Thats crazy man.

Well, according to history, every thirty years or so. All I can say is to enjoy your season. I'm not trying to put you down, but probably later, rather than sooner, there will be another team that goes undefeated and becomes known for breaking all of the 07-08 Pats records.
