I agree. The films with "love teams" are average at best. The studios need to feature more indie films. I've seen some of the indie flick that were part of the Cinemalaya Film Festival, and they're quite good considering their budgets.

I'm a caregiver. PSW. This is very realistic. We have no rights or feelings as far as the clients/residents and their family or managment are concerned. You are just a slave to serve on them and they can beat the crap out of you as they please. Its a thankless job but where would those asses be if we didn't exist. lol,....no pun intended. I prefer dementia....at least they HAVE an excuse. They don't know what they are doing when they spit at me or sock me the stomach. Others are shit heads!

i was attacked by many filipino's when i just simply said they used CAREGIVER title just to sell it. which is true. the ending of the movie has a message to most filipino's but sharon was feeling api when she was simply doing a job of her choice. i find it funny. and that shows. filipino's think work should be an easy work? the movie was a bit awful. it's not even a caregiver story. it's her life. it did confuse me. filipino wants this movie? they made this movie. sad but true. oh well.

The caregiver movie emphasizes the life of being a caregiver although it's a legal profession but the point is that the movie industry is not just focusing on one story of a person. The caregiver job is really really a stressful & scary job because you don't know what's gonna happen to the elderly and then the family will blame you and they will accuse you of something. That's why it's important for everybody to know what is this kind of job all about.
regardless what we do in our jobs. doctors, nurses, nannies, ceo of a company or janitor we are liable to the health and safety of others. so everyone knows all jobs are not easy. if one take a job then you signed for it and should know what your responsibilities are. THE TITLE is the SELLING POINT OF THE MOVIE. i just understand how many caregivers would not appreciate the selling strategy for this movie. i used to be in advertising.

Kaya hindi talaga easy yung trabaho ng caregiver kahit sabihin mong nakakatulong ka sa kapwa mo... Tapos yung pera mo na pinaghihirapan mo mapupunta sa Pilipinas at halos wala ng natitira sa iyo... In my own perspective, being a caregiver and looking after the welfare of other people, while being away with your own family, is indeed a hard job. I just cant imagine the hardships these caregivers have to endure in order to give their families back home a comfortable life.
i hope this is only a story of filipino tales as caregivers. bec. in other coutnries this is a real profession a dream job not something people takes bec. it's a job. hope this movie don't give a different perspective of caregivers. it's a job and only filipino's complain about hard job. foreigners do work 50 times harder than filipino's just letting everyone knows.!

i was attacked by many filipino's when i just simply said they used CAREGIVER title just to sell it. which is true. the ending of the movie has a message to most filipino's but sharon was feeling api when she was simply doing a job of her choice. i find it funny. and that shows. filipino's think work should be an easy work? the movie was a bit awful. it's not even a caregiver story. it's her life. it did confuse me. filipino wants this movie? they made this movie. sad but true. oh well.

mentioned that it before. why CAREGIVER the title when they can titled it "SARAH". in PASAN KO ANG DAIGDIG sharon portrayed millions of poor children all over the world yet SHE or some FILIPINOS did not acknowledge the scavengers, beggars and children of smokey mountain. CAREGIVERS are not api. it is a professional job. i'm not one but i knew it's not a fair movie at all just to sell this movie.

i like this movie...maganda to mapanood ng mga kids na ang mom nila is caregiver..i know the life of being a caregiver its hard to pretent to our family in the phil na ok tayo kaya natin ang work..sometimes they dont know kung ano ang hirap ng ginagawa ng caregiver sa ibang tao para kumita..need din na mahalin natin sila as our own family....so if u watch this movie you know na ang CAREGIVER ay di birong work sa ibang bansa..paghihirapan muna ang lahat ng kikitain...MABUHAY ANG CAREGIVER

laos na yang Japayuki noh... let's be fair. The caregiver movie emphasizes the life of being a caregiver although it's a legal profession but the point is that the movie industry is not just focusing on one story of a person. The caregiver job is really really a stressful & scary job because you don't know what's gonna happen to the elderly and then the family will blame you and they will accuse you of something. That's why it's important for everybody to know what is this kind of job all about.

regardless what we do in our jobs. doctors, nurses, nannies, ceo of a company or janitor we are liable to the health and safety of others. so everyone knows all jobs are not easy. if one take a job then you signed for it and should know what your responsibilities are. THE TITLE is the SELLING POINT OF THE MOVIE. i just understand how many caregivers would not appreciate the selling strategy for this movie. i used to be in advertising.

one opnion can benefit others especially if everyone is open in understanding one's point of view. it is an awarenes i'm sure... this movie is all about. not all caregivers will appreciate this movie. the title does emphasize all caregivers in general unless the title is called SARAH. not caregiver. because it is her story, marital relationship and the job she pursue.

there is no point of learning to changes and awareness if one don't want to understand ones opinion. being a narrow minded is when you only see things one way. this movie create buzz. nothing against caregivers. my sister is one. i do like the trailer but gosh caregivers cry and cry and feeling api? that is not CAREGIVERS ALL ABOUT. it is SARA'S Story IN ALL FAIRNESS they could've titled it SARAH not used CARGIVER to sell the movie.

ganyan talaga ang trabaho ng caregiver. You need to be more patient with old people coz some of them are agitated... The job is very stressful and frustrating... I'm also a caregiver here in Fresno, California. I'm taking care of six elderly people in one house by myself... Nag-iisa lang ako mabuti pa si Sharon marami sila... Nagkakaroon ako ng scratch sa arm nung binihisan ko ng diaper ang matandang lalake... Ayaw nyang magpabihis kasi eh nagagalit kahit amoy mabaho siya

Maraming bisis ko rin narinig yung bad words like "God damn it!", "Get out in here", "shit!" everytime I change their diaper & clothes nagagalit yung iba... Kaya hindi talaga easy yung trabaho ng caregiver kahit sabihin mong nakakatulong ka sa kapwa mo... Tapos yung pera mo na pinaghihirapan mo mapupunta sa Pilipinas at halos wala ng natitira sa iyo... Kasi akala nang lahat sa Pilipinas na maganda ang buhay dito sa America at madali lang ang pera... Here, you have to buy for your freedom...

i am a caregiver and also left my family to suit their needs back in the philippines.Caregiver, a dirty job? I don't think so, people who perceive that way are narrow minded but instead caregiver is a job that helps and supports individuals who can not help themselves,individuals who are on the end of their lives.I don't like the movie coz it shows how narrow minded the filipinos are.And the reason why the philippines is still a country is simply because of the dollars we import....

Pero,I will remember her always as the Megastar!You drop names of upcoming actresses or popular ones for the moment. If they can leave a legacy even half that Ms. Cunets has given the Philippine cinema, then maybe you can cite your wondrous facts about your favorite actresses. I know what it feels to be a daughter/son of a caregiver....bcoz i am one....This will be a great movie...trailer plang...kase parng story namen.....my mom's a nurse....the old people were racist to her before....but now she has told them that she is there to care for her....IM PROUD TO BE FILIPINO!!!!

In my own perspective, being a caregiver and looking after the welfare of other people, while being away with your own family, is indeed a hard job. I just cant imagine the hardships these caregivers have to endure in order to give their families back home a comfortable life.
