  • @CenturianRule I kinda agree. But all things are relevant. Vegetarian Society of Hawaii (VSH) has video of my 176 pound weight loss. BUT that doesn't negate Kathy's loss. She should be applauded!

  • Wow you look terrific well done!!!!

  • @strawberrylaralara

    Thank you.

  • thx so much! I will check out your website.

  • Hello Mrs. Seal, I hope you like my website. Just put it up a month ago and I still have a lot of work to do with it. Best wishes for your health and happiness,

  • Hello Mrs. Seal, I hope you find my website helpful. I have still much work to do with it.

Best wishes for your health and happiness,

    Kathy

  • I thought you looked nice before but great after. What size where before and after and how long did it take you to lose the weight?

  • Hello.

Thank you for the nice comment. I was up to a size 14 and now wear pant size 6 and shirt size 8. It took me 3 yrs. to lose all the weight, (I cheated on my diet a lot). The last 15 pounds came off when I gave up dairy.

  • Losing weight has never been easier. Our All natural diet supplements will help you lose weight easily.Check out my profile for more information

  • Sterolyn has brought my triglycerides down to 145 mg/dl and my LDL down to 95 mg/dl! My doctor calls me "the freak of nature," haha. I plan to keep taking this forever. And hey, I'm enjoying my free subscription to Fitness magazine, it's part of an overall lifestyle change.

  • @litebug12345 Eating low fat vegan WTHOUT expensive supplements (how much money ARE you making) brought my tryglicerides down to 59!

  • Oh, I've seen you in a Dr. McDougall testimonial, right? You look really great! :D

  • Yes, Dr. McDougall put my weight loss story on his website....and, thank you.

Are you a vegetarian or on your way?

    Kathy

  • Yes, I'm vegan also...oil-free :) I owe a lot to this way of eating :)

  • How so? Can I hear your story?

  • Sure, well...I lived in Santa Rosa where Dr. McDougall had his show and followed the weight loss plan after my first child. I was so healthy it was amazing and then after my next two children, I just went into a depression and went back to dairy...destroyed my health...tried everything else out there...

  • I went back to the plan in the past year and my health shot back up again and I feel great. I wake up in the morning without problems and look better, lol. Nothing else I've ever done has shown to be self-proving like going vegan...you can really test everything for yourself. You look to be a prime example :)

  • Maybe you should send your story to Dr. McDougall so he can share with those on his website. The more people who give their testimonies, the more courage others will have to try this amazing lifestyle.

  • I'll definitely think about it :)

  • Great video!

  • Hi -- the video is great, and you look wonderful! So you mostly eat only whole-food fats -- do you strive for a certain percentage of fat?

    Thanks!

When I first started losing weight, I would keep track of my fat grams staying around 25 to 30 a day. That way, I became very aware of what foods had added fats in them like breads, crackers, spaghetti sauces, etc. I haven't kept track for yrs. now though I'll still look at the labels to see how much fat is in the package. I still keep the 25 gms. of fat limit in mind though I don't count my avocados or nuts, I'm just mindful of how much I eat.

  • I use oils very sparingly. For a salad dressing I use Newman's Liten Up balsamic vinagrette. I use water or vegetable broth to sautee vegetables. I try to get all my fats from olives, avocados (one of my favorite foods) and raw nuts.

Thanks for your comment and question. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. My husband and I are planning to make more videos about health and healthy, cheap cooking.

  • Thanks for a great video! Do you eat any added fats such as olive oil, sesame oil, etc.?
