Awesome sweep picking dude. Is this guitar particularly more confortable to use this technique than others?

@AyreonsDimension I find the classical method of holding a guitar (having it turned upwards like that) does make it easier to sweep and in general play notes high on the fretboard. However, you don't have to use a V shaped guitar to do this, you can still rest a normal guitar between your legs tilted upwards (rather than resting it on your right leg, parallel to the ground), and you'll achieve the same effect :)

@89Alex21 They're all pinch harmonics. You kind of hit the string harder with your pick and have your thumb near the edge of the pick so your thumb just barely grazes the string as you pluck it, creating the harmonic. You'll get different harmonics (or no sound) depending on where you are hitting the string with your pick (as in closer to the bridge or closer to the neck). Hope this helps! Once you get them working, try some vibrato, makes them sound great :)

@eladc its not worth it. i got a custom carvin ultra V with all my specs (brand new) for about the same price as this guitar and i like it better (i own both guitars). dont buy anything unless it absolutly suits what you are looking for.

@eladc I have two guitars. One has a licensed floyd and the other has an OFR. I can tell you that the difference in their ability to stay in tune is slight. With my OFR even though I fire up the tuner every day it usually only needs to be adjusted once a week or so despite a lot of playing. The licensed may need to be adjusted once a day or a couple of times a week, but they are minor adjustments. It's not like you'll do a whammy dive and go way out of tune or something.

I've played the 200 and in comparison the 600 is way better (or at least my model is... my model is a diff one from the current one cause it's older and they changed it)

Personally I'm not a fan of active pickups, I prefer the sound of passives. As for the floyd, from what I've seen there doesn't seem to be that big of a difference from a liscensed floyd rose as opposed to an official floyd rose. As long as it's not a fake and is actually liscensed you should be fine.

Thanks man, I'm guessing part of the sound discrepancy comes from the difference in sound from my guitar to your guitar. I've got a J-50BC pickup in there with an MM04 mids booster.

If you're curious about seeing how close you can get it tho, my settings on the amp were metal for distortion (I think in red), max drive, bass at ~9 or 10 o'clock, mids at ~2 or 3 o'clock, and treble at max.

Yeah man, the "Mobile-Pre USB" is a USB device with 1/4" audio input jacks made by the company M-Audio. I used an audio cable from the output of my amp into the mobile-pre instead of putting a microphone in front of the amp to get a direct sound.

Yeah dude, when you install the drivers and you have the m-audio icon in your taskbar at the bottom right, double click it to open the settings or w/e and turn on the "Mono" option for the monitor mix.
