no seriously you just loosen the screws on the bottom of the grip and take out the grip but you cant hit any notes.

actually if you loosen the screws and pull out the frets but the adapter is still in you can play without the grip (technically) you just cant hit any notes try it

alright so first of all i have a max media Pmp with a 1gb giga pack. and i run games with a porgram called maxoverload and i can run most games with patching, i use rom tools to patch. and i download the Nds hack guitar hero rom and and put it on my games folder and i booted up maxoverload and the clicked guitar hero and the game wouldnt load, it just freezes at the screeen. I tried to patch it with rom tools but didnt work the arm 9 couldnt be pass the patch. So how would i run guitar hero????

You download a rom from the Internet and then put it on an M3, R4 or other device which can read memory cards (usually MicroSD)

lolo its mad ahrd to play withthe buttons iplay  with the abxy, and the besti can do so far is medium.. which im uptoo withthe hacked lol.. it was crazy pressing 2 buttons at onced but since i palyed it for a while i inda masteredit... i dont think ill beable to do it at hard or expert roflmao... i want to get the guitar grip so badly but no one wants to buy it for me... grr... m spoiled little couins got a new nintendo ds lite just for going to 5th grade.. whateva happened to my gift!?

why don't you reset the buttons instead of using the d-pad? piratebay has a button example i.e V-Green

C-red

X-yellow

Z-blue

shift-orange

Yes, it is, but I really don't recommend it. Firstly, it's illegal to have pirate games. Secondly, it's not playable on medium, hard and expert difficulty. Thirdly, it doesn't feel like Guitar Hero.

You have to press two directions at the same time :P or use your both hands to press a button (ABX or Y) and a direction (it's when you have to press eg. up and down :P).

i'm completely untrained at guitar hero, but i do fine at medium(hard and expert would probably be too hard for me even with the guitar grip)

no i didn't buy it, but that's because i live in europe where it won't come for another 2 or 3 weeks.

Hard isn't unimaginable hard :) with a little practice or just trying few times, it becomes really fun to play. And on the DS version there are just 4 buttons (but they said that it doesn't change anything!). I also live in Europe but I ordered the US version of the game :)
