this is why all bus barns need to be FORCED to add properly secured seat belts to the ones they currently have, or replace them with seat belted ones altogether (personally, I would want them to replace with, that way, the buses are safer in the hardware.)

I have even seen tv commercials with law officers saying that there are no excuses or exceptions for not wearing a seatbelt and that it saves lives.

Although, mention this( install seatbelts ) to your school board and see how many excuses you receive.

You will be surprised.

I thought seatbelt importance was about saving lives, not the cost!

Another good reason for an enhanced seatbelt law that should include seatbelts for these buses in the event of a terrible crash. Without seatbelts the children go airborn and suffer trauma. I understand some states have seatbelts on their school buses.
