  • My uncle was killed in 1944 in one these he was a gunner still got his log book and medals

  • @M100SHGU I also think it's an Invader,actually an A-26C invader,

    because of the glass-nose version,also called a bombardier nose.

  • Nifty hardly ever seen footage of a Wellington and a Warwick was mentioned in a book about the Berlin airlift I was reading yesterday and had no idea what it was

  • The Warwick had about 80% commonality of parts of the Wellington.

  • Yep, those 'Wellingtons' are actually the bigger Warwicks.

  • Interesting footage, but you need to alter the title as it's a Warwick, a much larger aircraft than the Wellington.
