you kno i like the soviet ending better because it actually connects with Command and Conquer Tiberium dawn. C&C and C&C red alert(not the expansions) are the only games that actually connect and make sense in the story. non of the others did except for the tiberium series. and thats sad. and i think that man was yuri.

As history has changed in this game, so would our Arms and armor. Historically USA was going to have German style helmets called M2 (model 2) or the M5A (model 5-A) if we did not go to war with Germany in WWI or WWII. In fact many Americans troops had them on at first. So in C&CR we would had US troops looking like Germans. :0

At the end of the Soviet campaign of the very first Red Alert game, at the end, I think Stalin still dies in the plot and Kane takes over and into the plot of Command & Conquer.

Red Alert Retaliation basically happened, so there could be an alternative to the plot and the Red Alert series could continue. If there was no Red Alert Retaliation, there wouldn't Red Alert 2 or 3 and so on, Retaliation just sums up there were still soviets still going against the Allies, everyone should know this!!

That's why despite Red Alert 2 taking place in the 50s, we have prism tanks and attack dolphins and terror drones.

This still doesn't explain in Red Alert 3 when the Soviets go back in time and kill Albert Einstein BEFORE he Invented the Chrono Sphere some time after WW2 in his time continuum, where Adolf Hitler did exist and travels along our continuum. @Trinexx360 Think about it, Einstein went back in time to kill hitler in the 30's, also, einstein basically invented the atomic bomb. RA 3, whats-his-face goes back in time and kills Einstein. this causes the time line to change where he never went back himself to kill hitler, Nukes were never invented so we never bombed japan which evolved into a very large empire, and for all we know, the Soviets wiped out the German army because , of what i can think of, since we were never a threat, a coue.

By the way, Joseph Stalin died in 1953. Red Alert 2 takes place in the 1990's. Somewhere in the same time frame as the first C&C. Tiberian Dawn.

This is why Red Alert 1 will always be the best. I don't care if some view the acting as hammy but the threat of the Soviets was executed perfectly; after this the series became far too cheesy....... There were no big name actors in Red Alert 1 but I prefered the acting in it to the other two :)
