  • a cute song, I love it

  • sounds Bambee, Tiggy, and daze are all the same kind of aqua ... and most Danes

  • bublegum dance is a genre well known in the whole dumb now after 10 years has stood out in Latin America

  • This was the soundtrack to an alien rape porno I saw recently. Was as hilarious as it was hot.

  • @MrLusciousmeat it made the video!

  • @MrLusciousmeat Yes, I saw that vid... and it was so awkward... O_o

  • *: (=' :') ::  SÜPERRRR!

  • na sadisticu widzialem lepszy teledysk

  • But Bambee can play with my ammunition anytime. Shake it away babeh!

  • Well, once you've heard Aqua songs, you don't need any of these other clones.

  • @mrteemumilto Hah. It's a genre, not a clone.

  • woooooow... i feel like dancin n jumpi'n

  • this brings so much the 90´z back i miss em <3

  • id cum in her butt. #WINNING! #FASTBALL!

  • This can't be for kids look how she's dressed ._.

  • Sure, semi-retarded parent-types, lets pretend it is not written to have a sexual meaning. And it would be much nicer if Aqua were the only band allowed to make bubblegum music. LoL @ retarded ppl.

  • @AllVets Aqua are not a bubble gum, in an interview lene and rene even stated they were not bubble gum but eurodance! !?!?! the rules of eurodance is that there is a female singer and a male rapper...hence bands like E-rotic, Aqua, Toybox, Mr president, Captain jack, Crispy are not bubblegum bands they are all Eurodance!...bands like Smile DK, Bambee, Ni-ni, Creamy...they are bubble gum bands!!

  • @araparap Yes, that was very relevant to my point. Whether or not there is a male rapper makes a big difference to the sexual innuendos in the lurics and if other bands should be allowed to make music in "Aqua's" genre.

  • Comment removed

  • @AllVets bubblegum or even eurodance isnt Aqua's "genre" and aqua didnt invent it or even create it...yes they made it mainstream but eurodance started way back with 2 unlimited, look at whigfield back in 1995 with "saturday night" with her bubble gum style of music, that was befor bubble gum was even labled as such

at the end of the day all styles of music are borrowed from one another just mixed differently or used different instuments...

  • @araparap Why do you keep writing these comments to me?? Maybe you are mistaking me for someone who cares about the things you write about.

"that was befor bubble gum was even labled as such" - precisely.

  • @AllVets i am not typing comments to you, i am just replying to a comment...if you dont want people to reply your comments on youtube dont make them...

  • @araparap The "@AllVets" indicates precisely who you are addressing. When you reply to me, your reply should have some relevance to the point I am making. Now quit disturbing me.

  • i think your getting lost in translation...you did not make a point...you just made an ass of your self...

if you stop replying to me with pointless comments about a point you did not make...

    lol @ retarded you

  • @araparap The term 'retarded' doesn't mean I started responding to you. In fact it is my impression that you may have asperger’s syndrome, because the sarcasm in the post you started responding to seem completely lost to you and some details that other people hardly care about seem to mean the world to you. Don’t be sad. It’s ok man :-) I’m going to block you now so this silly discussion can come to an end.

Also, I just watched your vid with the Barbie dolls. Good Job with that one :-)

  • @AllVets well you can block me all you want i can still reply..and its clear you still dont know what your talking about...do you even know aspergers is? i doubt it...but good job on trying...

  • Okay. Here's how it is.

    Aqua's awesome, Bambee's awesome, Peach Union's awesome.

    Just in different ways.

Who cares who sings it long as it's a good song and they do it justice?!

If you have to take it in a sexual way then go play in a gutter and find your mind while you're at it. Almost anything can be manipulated to be sexual. Fruits, sayings, trees, cars, you get the idea. So stop saying "Oh it's sexual." It isn't unless you make that how you want to hear it.

Let it be clean for kids K?

  • Why is everyone saying this is just a copy of Aqua? All bubblegum is the same; they all copy from each other.

  • A bad copy of Aqua's Roses are Red....

  • this song is kind of a Aqua rip off Aqua is so much better

  • this song is kind of a Aqua rip off

  • I always play this on DDR when I go to Clifton Hill.

    Thought it was Aqua.

    ... :<

  • lol this eurodance stuff :)

  • Bubblegum = a fun, confectionary product, popular among young people

Dance = rhythmic movement to music

Neither word has anything to do with sexual orientation. Odd comment!

  • bubble gum dance? couldn't think of a gayer name?

  • Love it!

  • A couple of other characteristics of bubblegum dance music:

Often has a high pitched female lead singer, often uses sound effects.

  • great eurodance miss the 90's

  • Bubblegum pop is designed to appeal to pre-teens and teenagers, is produced in an assembly-line process, driven by producers, often using faceless singers and has an upbeat "bubblegum" sound. The songs typically have singalong choruses, seemingly childlike themes and a contrived innocence, occasionally combined with an undercurrent of sexual double entendre.

  • @yourscreenmyscreen Great summary!! :D! Couldn't have explained it so beautifully as you!

  • @yourscreenmyscreen Somehow, it still ends up being amazing.

  • i get my milky ways out of my rocket everytime i see that body damm! play with my ammunition as long as u want ill never get tired....

  • She sounds just like Aqua. In fact, the dum dee doddy bit is practically lifted right outta roses are red ...

  • I want to rape Bambee's angelic body.

  • @Sambucacat XD!!!! Love the honesty! XD!!!

  • Toy Box, Aqua, Bambee, and De M-Kids, especially "The Jungle Song" and "SMS."

  • According to Bubblegumdancer [dot] com

"Bubblegum dance music often has a more pop sound compared to other eurodance music. This has led to many people wrongly labeling it "bubblegum pop", which is in fact a very different style of music. Other names used to describe bubblegum dance music include: bubblegum techno, euro cheese, bubble dance, and happy house."

  • The best name for this genre of music is "Bubblegum Dance." The site bubblegumdancer [dot] com has a lot of info about this . . . more than you will ever need!

  • @gogomountain Thank you very much, the site is great. I will recommend Bubblegumdancer [dot] com to everyone who likes Bubblegum Dance.

For all the ignorant people out-there that still thinks this kind of music is for kids, you are confusing it with Bubblegum POP, this is in fact Bubblegum DANCE, way different people.

  • 1)I wanna see your rocket.

    2) you know how to rock it.

    3) can I play with your ammunition

    4) time for ignition

They're all sexual, fuck all the morons that say Bubblegum Dance is for kids. Bubblegum Dance rocks.

  • That kinda makes this child pornography then...

  • You obviously got it all wrong. Although some Bubblegum Dance may be for kids, this sub-genre of it is targeted for adults only. My point is, listening to this kind of material does not make you gay, silly, childish or a looser. Its just fun music with suggestive language that has fun catchy tunes meant for older people to enjoy.

  • Did you not see my pun there?

  • i agree

bubblegum is like sexual role playing as kids

  • It's kind of cute and poppy, which is something that kids enjoy. It has a lot of sexual comments, but little kids wouldn't catch it. So, I don't think it's aimed at little kids, but I think it's suitable for them all the same time, because it's not saying anything out right.

  • @p3x416

You forget "and let's fly into the milkyway" LOL

  • @p3x416 4) I thought it was "time for a mission" (time for emission). At least that's how I always heard it. I could be wrong though.

  • @p3x416

    i know right..

    i love Bambee..

  • Comment removed

  • For all of you who keep commenting on this being child's music and then going back on it... The lyrics and style of bubblegum dance music is often silly and should not be taken seriously. Traditionally it can be described as cheerful, amusing, silly and childish, with many people leading to the conclusion that the song or artist is aimed at children. It is common for artists of this genre to use sexually suggestive lyrics in their songs, sometimes these are obvious and sometimes they aren't

  • @mokibearblack to read more visit bubblegumdancer[dot]com

  • The beautiful norwegian girl :)

  • @p3x416 Don't forget:

    Into the milky way

  • @p3x416 True, but kids don't have the tendency for twisted thoughts as adults do. Therefore kids will enjoy it as it is.

  • Coming from someone who listen to metal, this is pretty cool.

  • I love this song ! ♥

    Where can I download it ? ~

  • is the "dam di daa" based on aqua's "roses are red"?

  • i don't know but they are very similar. A bunch of songs in this genre may sound the same in some parts :)

  • no it is not, they may sound the same but they are not based on that, i think. it also may be the other way, mabie aqua based it on thins

  • Possibly. Linnea Handberg wrote most of Bambee's material, and I know that she was heavily inspired by Aqua.

  • shes better than Aqua though.

  • lol yeah... i like roses are red tho...

  • Bambee is *not* the singer from Aqua. Anyway Aqua broker up after releasing their second album. And Matel lost that Barbie lawsuit.

  • Barbie's Company said that that there song BARBIE was copying there material

  • lol cool

idk if this is te same girl, just asking, sounds like her.

  • I looked it up after u said that turns out it is her lol funny how some people recognise the voice I would have never guessed that!. but her real name isnt Bambee lol its actually Desirée Sparre-Enger, looked it up and found that out. just tought I would let u know.

  • wow, thats amazing! she must be a pretty big star! I wonder what happened to Aqua, i guess they just broke up.

  • they broke up after the lawsuit over the song barbie girl, the lawsuit was from matel they dint like the sexual refrences in the song. So now she sings solo I guess aqua bacame unpopular after the suit, aww well I like them I wish they would hav continued.

  • fuck matel! :)

  • Tell me about it it sucks, I loved them, but people just stoped buying their s**t after the suit, stupid matel I mean I watched the barbie girl music vid and it dosent have anything sexual in it, I think it was just another way for matel to try and make more money. She calls herself Bambee for the copy right resons of Bambi lol go figure.

  • JC, croporations need to get a life, but I can she the sexual stuff in the lyrics like for example, "undress me everywhere, you can thouch, you can play"

  • True but they were talking about the actual doll lol she even dressed up like Barbie in the music vid, its true u can undress the doll and touch and play with her lol. I dont know it did have sexual refrenses but I dont think they meant it like that. I mean after all I havent heard too many songs from them that are even Ify u know? But at least shes continuing her career shes awsome!

  • i think they did, or were playing on that idea.
