  • amazing

  • I really enjoyed this. This was just great. Haven't laughed this much at a juggling related video in a while - or maybe ever.

  • Hilarious!!! IDK which one of you came up with this, but it's great! I laughed so hard I cried! =)

  • You guys are assholes. Instead of encouraging others to explore the art, you decide to lord your probably mediocre skills over them. Everyone starts somewhere, and I'm sure you would have appreciated a supportive juggler when you began learning.

  • LOL really? you think this is serious? haha its a joke folks they are always supportive... LOL this is aimed at the hard core jugglers out there caus its hilarious =)

  • @thegnome54 Yes it is an art, an art that we practice...a lot. I don't walk up to some guy on the street playing his saxophone and say "Hey buddy I have seen one of those before let me give it a try!" The point of the video is that when we are juggling in public, either practice or performance, we don't like to be hassled by naive people. I am more then willing to teach someone a proper cascade if they ask, but don't mock my art form by pretending to know how to juggle.

  • @mattlarrain "... we don't like to be hassled by naive people."

This is exactly the attitude that I find repulsive. That you seem to assume that people trying to show you their skills or learn your art are 'mocking' you is also telling. I don't feel like that sort of excitement or enthusiasm should ever be crushed. Take two minutes to humor them, give them a few tips and send them on their way with a smile and a good story. You don't have to be a crotchety snob about it.

  • @thegnome54 Oh my bad I didn't know I needed to take time out of my practice to entertain the masses. I guess i'll just bring out all my jugging props with me where ever I go practice just in case someone wants to "impress me" with there 3 ball cascade. You must have not read everything I wrote too. Here let me help you; "I am more then willing to teach someone a proper cascade if they ask..." Most the time people just walk up and pick up my juggling props and presume it is ok.

  • @mattlarrain and @thegnome54:

I don't think either of you have a problem with people who are respectful but excited to show someone who is very good at juggling that they can do a little bit too.

I know you are both very initiated jugglers, and I can understand being disgruntled by someone hijacking your props/being annoyed by overly elitist attitudes. But let's keep it respectful and try to give people the benefit of the doubt.

  • @thegnome54 I agree with this. Next time i'm going to slag off your sloppy, crappy 3 club backcrosses. Just because someone is worst then you is no need to act like a total dick. As for the they're stealing your props argument, it's for like 20 seconds? Hardly harms your practice.

  • juggling is about sharing, check your ego...

  • See, I can't juggle well, but I have the decency to admit it.

  • I miss you guys. Wish I could make it to Burning Club.
