The i'll get drive thru thing should be in a update cause it was originally in the script for the movie, plus it was just a quick joke to provent Bruce from taking a sandwich with him.
the reason tommy lee jonr's two face wasnt accurate and acted more llike a joker because he never heard of two face! he says that in the interview he so thats why he acted like a joker. he went okay i guess he would act like this and did it hius way. his way isnt that bad actually. infact he reminded me of heath ledgers joker. just no corny dialouge and if this guy had the right script he coulda done a good job.
Tommy Lee Jones also claimed to have done a great deal of research for the role and personally discussed the character of Two-Face with Bob Kane so Im guessing the only reason he played his part cartoonishly is because Joel Shumacher wanted it that way.
And I believe Christopher Nolan deserves as much credit. Although Tim Burton's style was much darker, Nolan's portrayal of the Joker was a lot darker & more sinister compared to Burton's.
Burton's Joker wanted to outdo Batman. Nolan's Joker wanted to cause as much chaos possible. He wanted to make Batman go against his philosophy. Much more psychological than Burton's simple minded Joker.
No offense to Burton, though. I loved Batman and Returns.
I have to admit Tommy Lee Jones certainly looked like the type of actor that could play Two-Face (and he actually is a great actor so I know he could have done it right), but the makeup looked a little fake and even if his performance wasn't completely bad he still overacted more than his character really should. At least we have Aaron Eckhart now.
you know, I still think that Tommy Lee Jones' opening of Two-Face in this movie was one of the best batman-movie moments ever. It was delciously dark, ESPECIALLY for the first four. and I seriously think that he could've easily redone Two-face and redeemed himself from how he turned out at the end of the third movie.
You know it's funny, I thought the way they introduced Two-Face in this movie was done perfectly: the coin toss in front of the bat signal, showing him from the side and then a quick camera turn revealing his scars (which would have a lot more impact if they actually looked scary). But then what happen? He teamed up with Riddler and they became a couple of jokesters for the rest of the film.
I for one would rather see a complete reworking of the fourth Batman movie. Maybe a little editing and deleted scenes/alternate takes could save it somewhat.
Joel Schumacher may be wrong for this franchise but you see hints of a good director if you watch closely.
Deleting/adding scenes wouldn't fix the 4th one. That one sucked because of the horrible script and acting. THIS movie was the one with the bad editing.
I agree. Joel actually did make "Batman Forever" more darker than the way it turned out and said that he would have wanted to do a dark Batman, but had to cut a lot of stuff out to tone the movie down a bit. With "Batman & Robin" he was purposely making a campy Batman because of Warner Bros. telling him to make things toyetic and for kids, so trying to edit that film would be pointless since everything in it is so ridiculous.
Great video, the opening's much better, although the rest of the inscription on the wall is apparently missing. The one thing I would suggest is spending some time on the tansitions, I'd also suggest some music from Batman & Robin, the movie sucks, but the music for the Arkham scene would've worked quite well for the establing shot of the Asylum's exterior
Whats the name of that song? when riddler gets to his apartment?

One thing I can say about this film is that the scene where bruce leaves his office via the slide to get to the batcave is superbly done.
