An Appeal To President Bush

The maltreatment of Admiral Kimmel and General Short are a sad commentary on our sense of justice. These two patriotic Officers and Gentlemen deserve better from the country they defended and served so well -- as do their families who now suffer along with them.

My name is Courtney. You came and spoke to us at Clover High School. I watched your video, and I agree with what you are trying to do for your grandfather. I also agree with what you said about honoring your family name. Without our family we wouldn't be here, so the least we could do is defend our name. Thank you so much for speaking with us. Maybe you could come back and update us with your "adventure". :)

As a fellow resident of Rock Hill, I applaud what you are doing, and I hope that your grandfather and Gen. Short are restored to their proper rank and exonerated of any wrongdoing. Anyone who has any questions need only to read the book "At Dawn We Slept" by Gordon Prange. I hope someone in the White House picks up on this.
