I actually think she sounds more like a mix of Tori Amos and Lisa Germano than she sounds like Emilie Autumn. I prefer her music over EA's a lot, to be honest. It just seems more well-produced.

"There's no pain that can make the non-feel feel at all A hole through the skin will not make you whole" It's simply said, in not that many words, but no more needs to be said...it has to be about self injury & that its not worth it, that in the end it doesn't really make you feel better for that long, those two lines again

The part "there's no pain that can make the non-feel feel at all", ment that if your boyfriend is a psychotic bastard he won't change no-matter how much you suffer.

Yeah, I love them both to bits, but I view Hannah as having a more ethereal and dreamy feel to her music, while Emilie is more a rocky fierce type. Music to all the different kind of women we are :)

@KosmiskRevolution I completely agree. A tour with both EA and HF, woman I deeply love, would not work. EA is all about the asylum, and uses a lot of energy, sarcasm and humor to get it across. As you said, she is pretty damn fierce. With a Hannah show, I could imagine it being very simple, deep, reflective and thoughtful. Both woman are very passionate, just in two very different energies with music that, because of it being different, would clash. It's nice to imagine, though.

A meathook is a hook butchers use to hang the animals on when cutting them up. If you are looking for a deeper meaning of the song itself I think she means that she would rather be hurt physically than emotionally...
