I just love Genie. And you'd think they'd have more appreciation for her than they do, not just as an actress, but because the character of Laura Spencer is such a pivotal one. I mean, what other character do you know can come and go with such frequency over the past 30 years, and still be so influential. The kids sure do need her today. Please bring her back, and for longer than a couple of months, please.

@Ladypv I'm such a sucker for video's with families reuniting. But I totally agree the Spencers are the best family ever Laura needs to come back home. Even if she doesn't end up going back with Luke they need Laura back. ABC...Please bring back Gennie for another visit or for good. We need another Spencer Cassadine storyline.

genie really is AMAZING. i can't believe i just bawled my eyes out. this reunion was especially emotional because it was the first time laura meets her "grown" daughter. love her and the whole storyline just wish laura could stick around for more than just sweeps time!!!!!

well you are semi right. Genie Francis turned down the extended contract before she started filming the producers then went and spent their money elsewhere. ie feb sweeps characters. While filming Genie decided to stay but it was too late.

ABC only signed genie for four weeks there was never plans beyond that. GF had wanted to stay but no offer has been made.
