Does republican Bible's not have this passage in it? Why do republicans claim to be Christian, but not want to help the poor, widowed, elderly, orphan, etc, etc? Those are the basics in the Christian faith!

Yeah who cares about all the evils that Republicans have done: appointed judges on the supreme court that decided to make abortion legal, or that the Republican congress & Bush were initially responsible for the debt we have now, or that we were attacked when a Republican was prez. Don't forget that congress was run by Bush's buds for a few years - they had the majority. We owe China, and if we don't pay them in due time they will run our country, you'll see. Bush has already adapted to communist type activity by his complete approval of torture & taking away our privacy rights. If the next prez is Republican, that will end this country as we know it.

You seem to forget that Obama's plan also includes tax BREAKS for low and middle-class citizens. You seem to forget that he proposes an elimination of taxes for seniors who make less than $50,000 annually. You also seem to forget that the only tax INCREASES that he plans to make are for those who make more than $250,000 annually, and the tax increases go up as the incomes increase from there.

Read the fine print before you listen to crap-heads like McCain and Glen Beck.

Not really. Note that each time the Capital Gains tax is decreased, Government revenue increases. Despite this, Obama foolishly wants to raise it for "fairness."

Also, all "power of the purse" is in Congress. They decided if we borrow, or spend. As such, it is their policy.

It isn't taxes that are the problem, it's spending.

Also, most debt does not come from China. And in fact, many, many countries have far more debt than us in relation to GDP.

Buffet is a billionaire who goes to great lengths to avoid paying taxes, but he supports a candidate who would raise taxes for the rest of us.
