  • R.I.P THE 96 YNWA- GOD BLESS

  • Police were probably correct in letting fans through the gate, the problem was that they all instinctively went through the first tunnel and into a crowded pen rather than into the adjacent pens which were relatively empty. Terrible.

  • Hope the police will remember this day forever. For not doing their job.

  • Why were Liverpool only given the small end?

  • what happened?

  • No football game is worth THAT. wth?

  • @iansadiedful very few lfc fans take the piss out of munich. thing is some of the holier than thou united fans have taken great pleasure in taunting us about hillsborough over the years. sadly some of our fans have risen to the bait.i have no doubt that if lfc players had died in a plane crash and united had never had a tragedy, united fans would have taunted us

  • @in2u2b I THINK YOU SHOULD TAKE OFF YOUR ROSEY COLOURED SPECTACLES BECAUSE LFC FANS HAVE BEEN TAUNTING UNITED FANS ABOUT MUNICH 58 WELL LONG BEFORE HIILSBOROUGH EVEN HAPPENED.!!,EVEN AT THE HEYSEL 84 DISASTER LFC FANS HAD BANNERS GLOATING ON "MUNICH 58",I'M NOT SAYING ALL LFC FANS ARE ALL SICK.,BUT UNITED FANS ONLY TAUNT LFC FANS IN PURE FRUSTRATION BECAUSE OF ALL THEM YEARS OF MUNICH58 CHANTS.!!..I DON'T WANT TO GET INTO COMMENTS WAR ON YOUTUBE..ITS CHILDISH..BUT SEE SENSE.!!

  • People dont give pipweedthegreat's comment any attention , he's an attention seeker just trying to anger people and and you giving him that attention is much more than he deserves .

  • This made me cry Much Respect from Chelsea

  • Conormc you do not understand what I said so I will say agin 'lots of young spectators thought part of the fun of going to football matches was to push and shove.' I worked with young guys who did just that.

two weeks ago a young neighbour went to a local music concert and was amazed when the band started telling guys to go to the front and start fighting - it developed into a feeforall brawl and was seen as good fun but what will happen when someone dies?

  • lmao look at them all laying on the pitch half dead omg its hilarious, i never understood why people take this seriously its just a few hundred losers who died

  • in those days part of the 'fun' of going to soccer matches was the crush to get in the ground and the fightin during the match.

the club owners should have been prosecuted and the local council health and safety officer too.

the insurance company should ahve been made to pay big compensation.

  • How can you dislike like this

  • R.I,P TO ALL OF THE PEOPLE WHO PAST AWAY YNWA

  • SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT A TICKET AND NOT RUSHED THE TURNSTILES !

    LIVERPOOL KILLED LIVERPOOL THAT DAY

SO STOP WHINING ON ABOUT JUSTICE

  • @SUBWAYROB1 your sick. i have been a steward in football; the police and stewards were at fault. they should not have allowed them entry. further more at the FA and Police's demand's the periminator fencing was installed which was the main reason for the deaths. when the police got it wrong at highbury they just ran onto the police. Yes hologinism was a problem but it didn't kill 96 people incompetent policing and stewarding did.

  • @SUBWAYROB1

Have you *any* evidence at all for any of that? Or are you just ranting?

  • 15 people don`t have heart.

    YNWA forever!

    YNWA for Liverpool!

  • jesus i feel so sorry for the fans i mean look at 0:18 you cant even see the tunnel its that crowded just think if he didnt hit that cross bar lots of more people would have died

  • does anybody know where i can get live footage of the kick off before they knew what was going on?

  • Why?

Cos your drunken fans came down without tickets. this is the fans fault.

  • @ZombieSleaze

The fans were not drunk, and they did not show up without tickets. There's overwhelming evidence that there were no ticketless hordes that day - even the people who invented those myths, i.e. the police, have admitted that they made it up, and even then you still believe it. How much of a credulous buffoon are you? Learn to think for yourself, don't let the Sun think for you!

  • @havstormer Learn to get over it, it happend move the fuck on and stop crying about it, typical football fan

I want moneyfor a death.. MONEY WONT BRING THEM BACK.

You're fans destroyed our ground. I don't believe the sun, I believe the people who worked that day at hillsborough.

  • @ZombieSleaze

I'm not looking for money, I didn't lose any family or friends at Hillsborough, I'm just trying to set the record straight of what actually happened. You're trying to make out that you already know, but you've cheerfully admitted that you're just regurgitating what someone else said - someone who was working for SWFC and therefore could be implicated in the Disaster, given how poorly-designed the turnstile-area of the ground was.

  • @ZombieSleaze

And I repeat, there were no ticketless masses that day. SWFC's own admissions system showed that. There were 24,256 tickets for the Leppings Lane Terrace, and the admissions system, coupled with CCTV footage from after Gate C was opened, showed clearly that the number of Liverpool fans in the ground was below that total.

  • @havstormer the marshalling by police and stewards was at fault, they should just admit it.

  • @petehall1985

I think that's more or less what I was saying, although the club has to carry some of the can too for the errors they made when modifying the Leppings Lane terraces.

  • @havstormer the fa choose the grounds and set the standards so whilst the ground was inapporpriate the fa did choose it along with the rules on pens which aggregated the problem they were meant to resolve and caused many more. pens were a disgrace.

  • @petehall1985

In fact, while the FA was guilty of ignoring serious safety issues that emerged at the semi-finals in both 87 and 88, and so must shoulder some of the burden, the development of pens themselves was not really their doing. They were chiefly created at the behest of Margaret Thatcher's Government, which was notoriously anti-working-class and saw football as "the enemy's pastime".

  • @ZombieSleaze

Or are you trying to say that 'your' club was so hopelessly inefficient that it couldn't even count the number of fans entering its own ground? Now that's bloody scary, you should steer well clear of Hillsborough if it's that badly run - your life's in danger every time you go near.

  • @ZombieSleaze

Oh and what do you mean, "destroyed" your ground? You lost one crush barrier that day, and even that was because the terrace was discovered by the HSE to be unsafe - no intervening barriers anywhere behind in that channel of the terrace, so the entire weight of the crowd was supported by one barrier.

  • @ZombieSleaze

It is truly pathetic the way some people in Sheffield try to make themselves out to be the true victims of the Disaster, just because their club was forced to stop hosting semi-finals for a few years in the aftermath. (Yeah? When was the last time, say, Anfield got a chance to host a semi?) Ninety-six dead and six hundred injured Vs not allowed to host a semi-final. Who do you really think suffered worse?

  • @havstormer the families not the clubs

  • @petehall1985

    Pardon?

  • @havstormer If you look at the incident the management of the event is the cause of the crush and thus the deathes. they made fundamental errors which had huge impact. the other one is that this isn't about liverpool, notts forest or sheff wednesday its about the families of those who died because of badly trained incompetent staff

  • @petehall1985

Thank you, but you seem to be trying to 'correct' me with information I have already given, both here and elsewhere.Go back through the thread and have another look.

I have never once made this into a tribal issue - my point about the attitude of some (not many, just some) Wedenesday fans might make it seem that way, but that's because I'm taking issue with arguments that are themselves couched in tribal terms.

  • @havstormer what people from sheffield are you talking about?,im a wednesday fan, been going to hillsborough all my life and never! heard anyone make comments like that, and if they did they'd be promptly slapped, don't be bringing sheffield into it,its completely irrelevant.

  • @30pos

Try 'Zombiesleaze' above for starters, the very remarks I was replying to. Notice the way he says "You're (sic) fans destroyed *our* ground." (Emphasis mine.) But I've also encountered numerous Wednesday fans on other forums saying similar things. Look at some of the Hillsborough threads on EPLtalk to find examples.

  • @ZombieSleaze

But anyway, I've cited some actual *evidence*. What evidence do you have for your accusations, apart from, "I know someone who said so"? I can point to *hundreds* of testimonies, including some by policemen who were marshalling the crowd outside the ground, that will tell you that hardly anybody entered the stadium without a ticket. Ticketlessness was not an issue, and not a cause of the Disaster. It was caused by too many fans in the central pens, and not enough in the side-pens.

  • @ZombieSleaze

Incidentally, Hillsborough had been banned from hosting semi-finals before; in 1981 over 30 Tottenham fans suffered crush injuries, and it was banned for six years. Let's see if you can guess which terraces they were standing on. Go on, have a guess. *Sniff-sniff* Is that your head the burning smell's coming from?

People also suffered crush injuries on Leppings Lane in the 87 and 88 semi-finals by the way. The ground, especially the West side, was inherently dangerous.

  • you,ll never walk again

  • Comment removed

  • I think that for today we should all stop the insults and fighting and remember the families of the 96 football fans who never returned from Hillsborough.

  • Not messing but some of you people are actually disgusting! My whole family is scouse, including myself, and they have never committed any kind of violence, it's such a major stereotype! Also how the fuck can you watch this video, and have that attitude towards it, innocent children and people died that day and were badly hurt, because of a stupid miss understanding the police, made such a massively stupid decision! 1. letting so many people in, and 2. not letting people climb over to safety!

  • how the fuck are we animals? i am proud to be scouse. it wasnt our fault, we werent the one's opening the gate to pens 3+4, where we? when they were cleary full. and held almost double the 'safe' capacity. scousers were tearing off advertinsment boards to make stretchers for the hurt, and people in the upper tiers where trying to drag others to safety! so dont you c*nts ever call us animals! we were helping there own people.

  • @RussellXHoward hear, hear

  • 14 dislikes. a disgrace, they shouldnt even have a dislike on a tragerdey like this. shocking. JFT'96' YNWA.X

  • HOW CAN ANYONE DISLIKE THIS

  • RIP TO THE 96

  • JFT 96! even if ur mank, cockney or jordy u have to give these people respect for dying supporting the team they love. if u believe the suns lies then u have no common sense and no morale judgement! Scousers from both everton and liverpool join hands today to honour the memory of the 96 angels

  • @Biohazardz100 Since wen do the scouse give manchester fans respect for the munich disaster

  • @m1tchy93 i have respect for that but they are two completely seperate incidents and this was in the grounds of the stadium. i understand ur reason to be upset but that was a plane crash not a crush in the stadium were people were fighting for there lives and also that was 50-60 years ago (im only 15 so i dont know the details) this however was only 22 years ago and people are still living with the memory of that fateful day. but my respects R.I.P MUFC

  • People are sayin Justice for the 96. I'm not bein sly but what justice are you looking for.

  • [*] 96 never forget [*]

  • I'm italian and I'm 16 years old so firstly I'd like to apologize for my english.

I just want to tell you all how sorry I am about all the italian people spreading hate on Hillsborough videos, they're fucking shame and they don't deserve your attention, so please ignore them. I'm a Liverpool fan and I've been fighting with these people for all my life. They're stupid, they won't change their minds, because they're blind.

But I am not. RIP the 96 people who lost their life 22 years ago. YNWA

  • Here's to all 96 Son's and Daughter's of Liverpool FC "You'll Never Walk Alone" 1989 will never be forgotten R.I.P

  • god that scene at 0:48 is so sad and horrible to look at

  • Rest in Peace!

96 Reds, 96 Liverpool fans and most important thing 96 brothers died by watching a match of our beloved football team. The sadest moment in football history.

    A very big Liverpool fan!!!

  • ive read dalglish's book and in it he says that in the days after this event alex fergie rang him and sent some united fans up to anfield to grieve with the liverpool fans and families of the deceased. though they were never freindly and com from 2 warring teams Kenny has always respected him and admired him for doing that. at the end of the day if u take the jersey off we are all the same. LONG LIVE LIVERPOOL..

  • @pjmaher78 well said mate. hate cunts who laugh at hillborough or Munich at the end of the day united and liverpool are quite similar despite how much we hate each other. I am a united fan but when it comes to disasters like hillsborough or Munich i think only pathetic scumbags laugh and make jokes about events like that. long live real football

  • Such sad, sad day RIP all those who tragically lost their lives far too soon.

  • yous fucking cunts sing about the munich disaster! shame more of you scouse cunts didint die hahahahahaha karma is a bitch eh!? yous singing that to manchester united then this happens serves yous cunts right

were are you from you inbred sister fucking little ingerlunder, you havent go the balls to say that in liverpool, you'fd get destroyed yo bitch

  • @Scott9740

Not everyone who died was scouse. Liverpool is one of the most supported clubs in the world and people from all nationalities support Liverpool. Also, I bet a lot of scousers are richer than you, you worthless cunt, not everyone who lives in Liverpool is in a council house you ignorant twat, Liverpool has doctors, bankers, businessmen/women etc. too you silly fool.

  • @Scott9740 if youre going to try and insult me or be funny then at least spell dole right moron

you dont have the balls to come to liverpool and say some of the shit you do say out loud to a scousers face do you, fucking coward

    Y.N.W.A, brothers...

    Borussia Mönchengladbach supporters

  • to those who took the piss out of this disaster fuck you, you heartless bastards

not even a united fan or an everton fan would do that

    JUSTICE FOR THE 96 YNWA

  • r.i.p all never forgotten

  • Y.N.W.A brothers....

  • What exactly did The Sun newspaper do to upset people after this? I always hear references to it but I've never known what it was they did....did they report the story unsympathetically or something?

  • @richnobes The Sun published front page 'The Truth' (there are many links to it) where the day after 96 people were killed, suggesting that fans pickpocketed from injured and dying fans, and urinated on the police. Suggesting in addition that this was the fans fault ultimately. Never EVER buy the Sun.

  • @iain075 Thanks for the info there, that is utterly disgusting but unfortunately I can't say I'm surprised by The Sun's behaviour. Sounds about par for the course with that "newspaper". I never read it anyway because of it's quality of reporting and downright childish opinion, but now I have another reason to shun it. What was their source for such accusations? "Some guy" who claimed to be there? Ridiculous.

  • @l3roi77 YOU MUST BE ONE FUCK OF AN IDIOT. WELL BEING ITALIAN YOU MUST BE! HEYSEL WAS MUCH THE BELGIANS' FAULT AS IT WAS THAT OF THE FEW JUVE SUPPORTERS WHO TRIED TO CROSS OVER THE LIVERPOOL FANS' SIDE. REMEMBER THAT JUVE SUPPORTER WITH A GUN IN HIS HAND POINTING IT AT THE LIVERPOOL FANS. 39 SOULS PAID FOR THE BANNING OF ENGLISH CLUBS FROM EUROPE BECAUSE THEY WERE BY FAR DOMINATING. WHAT'S SO SAFE IN MILAN? A MOTOR SCOOTER CRUSHING ON YOUR HEAD IN STADIO MEAZZA? OR CORRUPT OFFICIALS? WHAT?

  • @iago656 Yes, I don't know the actual situation of Liverpool. MILAN's fans are sure more dangerous... (NOW 2010!) and maybe be liverpool fans are ( I repeat NOW) more civil...

But these videos and facts regard 80s years!!

Corrupt officials, politics, and etc. etc... ARE OFF TOPIC HERE!!!

    R.I.P. the 39 and the 96 !!

  • @l3roi77 I'm clearly not the only one getting a bit fed up of your foam-at-the-mouth insistence on spamming Hillsborough vids with that neverending chip on your shoulder. You seem to be convinced that Liverpool fans were killing opposing fans every other day in the 80's. Other than Heysel, can you point out to me any other riots Liverpool fans were involved in back then? There were many minor incidents down the years, but until Heysel, they were actually England's best behaved fans in Europe.

  • @l3roi77 You seem convinced that by mentioning Hillsborough, people are trying to deny Heysel ever happened, which of course they're not. No Liverpool fan is proud of what happened that night, and apologies have been given times beyond counting. Are the Juve fans ever going to apologise for starting the riot in the first place? (They spent over an hour throwing stones at the police before the Liverpool fans started fighting.) Will Roma fans apologise for attacking Liverpool fans in 1984?

  • screw the sun or it should be called the scum they suck YNWA

  • @twiggo66 Get a fuckin life, I hope you get stabbed under the Stretford End and finished off on the Kop Hillsborough affects Liverpool fans to this day and a lot of United fans (myself included) get emotional when they remember Munich.

  • Much respect from a Rangers fan involved in tributes to our 66 fans as we approach the 40th anniversary of the Ibrox Disaster. Our youngest victim was 8 years old and from Liverpool. We honoured him earlier this month in Liverpool.

If ever 2 clubs fans has a sad tragic bond then its us and all I can say is remember the 66 and justice for the 96 !! YNWA

  • @GirvanLighthouse77 nice one mate, much appreciated.. Liverpool and rangers are brothers in tragedy.. We know how you feel..

God bless the 96 and the 66.. Tears still fall to this day!

  • RIP FOR THE 96 BROTHERS FROM AN OLYMPIAKOS FAN FROM GREECE.

    15-4-1989 & 8-2-1981

  • tats horrible the guy under me is sick im a man united supporter i wouldnt go on like tat some people are so stupid..............

  • Ohh, I wish it could be Hillsborough everydaaaaay, where the fans start swinging and the fence begins to swaaaaaay!

Ohh, I wish it could be hillsborough everydaaaaay, where they rob dead bodies and the fans refuse to paaaaaaay!

who's that choking on their vomit

    who's that turning fucking blue

it's a scouser and his mate

    crushed behind the hillsboro gates

and they won't be singing munich anymore.

  • @irishrebel92

Your not wanted you dirty terrorist rat

  • @irishrebel92 you lowlife scum, do you really go on yotube to disrespect 96 people who died just cos they had an accent. i hope you wake up with 96 cuts across your chest

  • @irishrebel92 fuckk u irish cunt no effence to other fuckk uu i hope ur famliy dies and u get curssed u son of a bitch so go fuck ur dads leg u dick u wudnt like to get crushed on a fence with people surronding yah u no one kid died on ther who was 10 that kid would of probz had a good life n ur just say fuck them well go suck on it u fuckin remind me of someone the devil or maybe jus a low life dick head wit no life

  • @l3roi77 here here

  • @l3roi77 People like YOU cause more people to die because you spread hatred

Any decent person should mourn the deaths of EVERY disaster and not wish it on others.

  • @l3roi77 That's a disgraceful thing to say. Well, I'm glad for you that tragic and unneccesary deaths makes you happy. You absolute wanker.

  • @l3roi77

You need help coming away with stuff like that. Heysel was wrong. So too was Hillsborough. Both the dead of Hillsborough and Heysel were innocent of anything.

At the end of the day are we not all humanity?

  • Liverpool animals ........... ? One victim was a ten year old boy ........ a child not an animal. As for Heysel ....... check the facts! The Liverpool board asked UEFA to change the venue because it was not safe! They did this on more than one occasion but their request was rejected. Firstly you can blame UEFA. What about the Italian fans ..... were they innocent in all this ? I think not ...... would you like me to continue ? You may actually learn something you small minded moron !!

  • ODIO LIVERPOOL...

    ODIO LIVERPOOL...

  • @l3roi77

    Fuck off you dick head.

  • @l3roi77 Too much of an italian bitchboy to respond to comments anymore.

Can anybody tell me why this is the top rated comment???????????!

  • @l3roi77 Obviously referring to Heysel. Your talking about peoples lifes here mate, no one deserves to die in the way people did at Hillsborough, Heysel, Munich and Ibrox to name a few. It is football, a game, a game we are supposed to love, things have gone to far. Support your teams, love them, hate opposition but football is not as precious as life, nothing is. To the 39 from Heysel, the 96 from Hillsborough, the 23 from Munich and the 66 from Ibrox. RIP YNWA

    AMORE LIVERPOOL

  • @rockandrolleracdc well said mate

    YNWA

  • @l3roi77 emerito testa di minchia.

  • @l3roi77 you fucking guinea cunt, you fucking wop cunt! I'm a manchester city fan and I find everything you say in bad taste, I'd like to see you die choking standing up being crushed by 1,000 of people instead of the innocents who died at Hillsborough. Yes the hooligans at Heysel were awful and have blood on their hands. But I'll have you know that most of the victims at Hillsborough were under 30! So many young people killed just trying to go to a football match. What if your kids died?

  • @l3roi77 Piss off..

    JFT96

  • @l3roi77 ma vaffanculo incivile di merda non capisci proprio un cazzo

  • i was ten when this happened i remeber it, i will never forget. i will never buy a SUN newspaper again

  • Thank you for a great tribute and get the real story out:) We can look back, but i won't look back. I wll look in future and this is gonna happen again in europe at all. But i will not speak nice about those policemen in 89. I read a lot about it. They still give l'pool the blame. Those of them who is still in the police, should be put to to jail for the lies.

  • WHY DON'T YOU FUCKING ANIMALS TALK ABOUT THE 39 JUVENTUS SUPPORTES YOU KILLED?? FUCKING ANIMALS I'M SO GLAD YOU ASSHOLES DIED... I WISH MORE OF YOU ANIMALS HAD DIED

  • Pause at 0:47 , and it shows just how bad it was :'[

    Respect for the 96

  • @twiggo66 you sick faggot eat sh*t and die.

  • @twiggo66 Yeah because the youngest victim hadn't even hit puberty yet you sicko. They may have been 96 wankers but they didn't deserve to die. Do you know who does deserve to die? Child molestors, pedophiles & rapists. Oh and people who have no respect for the dead.

  • @twiggo66 you sick bastard ! im a manutd fan & youre comment about hillsborough makes me sick ! manutd could do without scumbags like you giving them a bad reputation "

  • Respect and sympathy for the 96,R.I.P.A Sunderland fan.

  • r.i.p from tom newcastle fc. justice for the 96

  • if english not drink such a lot they will survived for most of them

  • @pourhi they didn't have time to drink. They were held up on the motorway en-route to the match. When they got off the coaches, they were met by a huge queue outside the ground with only a few decrepit turnstiles catering for 24,000 spectators.

  • @paulmac38 best not to respond to idiots like that paul, some people will never understand and youtube is a cowards way for them to be smart

  • @mrtomtoonarmy. thanks pal. it could have happened to any team unfortunate to have been allocated that end. it nearly happened the season before. so much so that the Liverpool club secretary wrote to the FA asking them to switch the venue after many Liverpool fans complained of crushing. also check out the 1981 FA Cup semi between Wolves and Spurs. many Spurs fans had to be evacuated that day from the very same stand. Lessons are never learned are they.

  • Rip from greece.OLYMPIACOS AND LIVERPOOL FC WE WILL NEVER WALK ALONE!

  • @soulios7 manutd fan ! as a manutd fan i remember watching this unfold that day and it was a nightmare watching those people die that should not happen at a football match ! liverpool done well to recover from hilsborough although it will never be forgotten ! these scumbags who mock munich & hillsborough make me sick they should stay away from anfield & old trafford

  • Just a pointer, the picture of the stadium at 1:30 is actually Old Trafford from roughly the same time, where the replay of the match was held, where a cup semi final has been played virtually every year since and where it shoukd have been in the first place.
