that's the same Starliner I saw and videotaped in north san diego county. I have my video of it posted on my channel. The rear end on this was sort of unusual looking, not quite as flamboyant and radical as the fins on the 1959 and 60 chevy but following the same horizontal fin design. Ford starliner fins were more subdued. I think the designers at GM were not as afraid to go with the more extreme designs back then, 1959 Cadillac as an example. Seems like Ford preferred to play it safe.
