This is not actually a Cathedrals Reunion video or the Grand Old Gospel Reunion. This is a clip from a NQC produced "This Is Your Life George Younce" video, that Charlie Waller hosted.
@Uncle05Sam Around 1996 or 1997. It was a little while after their "Cathedral Anniversary Reunion DVD. Charlie Waller hosted it and brought back the "Blue Ridge Quartet" Members to sing with George as well as different former Cathedral members. It was quite a project. To my knowledge it was only release to VHS. I keep hoping the Southern Gospel Music Association at Dollywood will do a special re-release of it because it is so good.
I second that motion, though Scott Fowler and Ernie Hasse brought a new change of hits to the group, but this group is awesome, R.I.P. Roger, George, and Glen.
I've said it before, and I'll continue saying it, the best quartet to ever walk onto a stage was this version of the Cathedral Quartet. Not just the best version of the Cathedrals, the very best quartet every. Just my opinion, but they just can't be beat.
Thanks for sharing this great memory of a great group!
