Hoax? Where're the analytical sensibilities of the camera person or the news team? It seems this person would have filmed the ocean from the boat out to the horizon in all directions if merely to verify there weren't any other craft in the area. Here, this person didn't do that. This is one of the easiest types of hoax to pull off.

The other point is that it changed direction in front of the boat that indictates that there's no wires. Maybe with an small remote control submarine, who knows... Where is the wake from the towing boat and how the hell does the towing cable pass through, over or under this sail boat as it must have quite a keel, atleast 12ft under the surface. Sonar buoy from a sub is plausible (very dangerous) but how the hell does it act as if it is being towed from something on the surface? It's a fake. It is a bouy attached to a line which is attached to another boat that is pulling it through the water. The other boat would be in front of the sail boat the people are on in this video and moving to their left which is why the "ORB" is moving in that direction. It looks pretty obvious to me.

That's how We kill sharks in Trinidad! Its a big shark or fish on a "Palang" wire set up. Its a long line with hundreds of baited hooks on it. We Put a Buoy or a Float on it to find them when we come back. All commercial fisherman know this!
