  • A stubbornly persistent brain good book

  • "PAGING DR COCKU...PAGING DR COCKU...WE HAVE 3 ALIEN COEDS IN THE E.R. IN NEED OF IMMEDIATE INOCULATION"

  • so what if you can change someone's else past, can someone else change YOUR past ? =o

  • @Ayoobmarafie No. As was explained in the clip, in theory, no one could change the reality in which you or they exist. Any changes made would create new, parallel realities. The reality in which you exist could not be altered.

  • WORLD RECORD: BIGGEST WIND TURBINE

    Visit: windturbinecarriedbywheels.weebly.com

ZERO-NOISE from gears and generators since they are sealed underground.

SAVES THE BIRDS AND BATS since slow-moving.

DOES NOT OCCUPY A WIDER LANDSCAPE since the turbine can be very tall.

MAY BE LOWER-COST since it may use timber and other cheaper things.

ELUDES HURRICANE FORCE since the V-type folding blades automatically close.

    NO FIRE since well-cooled.

HELPS WIND-ENERGY COMPANIES since it is FREE FOR ALL.

  • This dude isn't telling me anything that Marty McFly hasn't already explained...

  • yes it got someone asleep

  • in the first 40 seconds all the time travels in the room went, "shit! he's on to us!

  • @WRHstudios lol

  • greatest man in the multiverse, michio kaku

  • Pop culture science lol, i like hoe he references ci-fi like that

  • Mind bobbling...

  • Now what if you went back in time and became your own father or grandfather. "the fry effect"

  • @TheSolitaryTraveller Do to the many worlds theory of time, its simply not possiblde. See, once you leave our timeline, you effectively enter a new timeline one in which your mother and father do not get married. Read Apocalypse Troll by David Weber, its a great sci-fi read that gets into this very subject. You can find that book for free in the Baen free library at baen.com

  • @Baronstone what if you go back in time, just not before you were born? is it possible to be the younger you in the 4 year old form with the knowledge that you have from 2012?

  • I have never truly realized how close the words forking and the f-bomb are until I saw this.

  • the other dude mixed up terminator with back to the future? ...fail

  • F**k ur mother? Hell no!

  • "Deep doo doo"

    -Michio Kaku

  • ok this just is interesting :

  • Yes, the universe is vibrating. Indeed;)

  • He has to be the most interesting man alive.

  • This leads to brick solid turning lava into oil, use like halfdidide.

  • so how would you ever go back in time and disappear if you disappear while back in time????

  • @yodavid24 P.S. This explains "The Source Code" movie completely.

  • LOL deed dodo

  • forking in the river of time!

  • hahaha was anybody else laughing when he said you have to fork in the river of time x)

  • so my future relatives could be invisible and watching me bip rong?

  • does this mean to change our own past, we need to time travel to another dimension, and have one of their time travelers time travel to our dimension and change it for us?

or would that just create more forks in the river or time, where each fork plays out?

i think it would be worth it to create alternate dimensions where the inhabitants don't experience tragedies that we had to

  • @rawrreawre342 you always have a fork. Imagine a time traveler from another dimension being able to stop hitler, you have no idea what the consequence are going to be. Probably no Israel and no berlin wall etc etc. But whatever you do to prevent the tragedies. To prevent one in time you have to have experienced one. So you wouldn't benefit from that only your past self.

  • DAMN, MICH. YOU'RE BLOWING MY FUCKING MIND.

  • Dude Yall Are The people that give stoners a bad name, you have to be high to understand what he is saying ? You Need To Go To School to understand What He is saying, I Get High On The Regular But im not saying it makes me a genius when im high

  • @BlazedArcher It's the high that makes you want to learn about it.

  • @BlazedArcher school wont teach you this shit. im high at the moment, but i read about this shit all the time. but i agree with you that idiots give us a bad name.

  • highdeas sent me here

  • @thepepis how do you know this....im not saying your wrong im just asking how do you know this

  • how can they possible understand this while sober

  • @hdgdude youre right dude i have no idea what he is talking about but if i was high right now i would understand this

  • time travelers r fucking ghosts

  • @xxmrxquestionsxx exactly what i thought when they sed they were invisible

  • Highdeas?

  • can they see me when i'm jerking off 0.o ?

  • @burnoutxboz first thing i thought about :(

  • damn so all the ghost people think they see are actually a time traveller's invisibility cloak fuckin up?? dayuuuuum...

  • @vinsanity3510 whats the point of time travellers seeing us if they arent able to interact? they're not changing anything if we're not cummunicating with them

  • @javonpython no.. but it'll be funny as hell to kill George Washington as he prepares for war and see what happens to America... OR give Napoleon Bonaparte nuclear technology and watch him dominate Russia.

  • thumbs up if you're high lol

  • @ismileasilosecontrol i really stoned right now =)

  • @ismileasilosecontrol Thumbs if you weren't high but just lol'ed at the comment xD

  • This man makes so much money convincing idiots that all this bullshit sci-fi stuff can happen. Time travel is a complete impossibility, at least for beings who inhabit physical bodies such as us. Now sit in your rooms and hopelessly jack off to these impossible claims retards

  • @thepepis If time travel is impossible, then you must believe that Aliens are fake and that we are the smartest beings in the universe.

How would Aliens travel through the Universe if time traveling didn't exist? Just food for thought.

  • @cubsnbears17 Where do you make the connection between my belief in time travel and aliens? Time travel = impossibility. Aliens = possible. Explain why me saying that time travel can't happen is also me saying aliens don't exist. Explain that. Please. Who says aliens travel through the universe? Assuming they do, who says that time travel is their way of doing it? No part of your claim makes coherent sense in any way.

  • @thepepis I kinda thought that too, the scientists pretending that their are ways of time travelling just so ppl can buy their books and stuff, i do believe its possible to time travel, im just in question if they believe so or not

  • I can't tell if this true or complete bullshit...

  • @mas0n13

    Get higher. You'll know ..

  • Booo you dumb.....fuck. The prequels are great and you've embarrassed yourself. Focus on the topic at hand you jackass.

  • Finally, the time machine is invented. Now who can we trust to use it properly?

  • id love to be as smart as this guy

  • Light is mass, light can travel fast through dark matter, human body is mass and can travel faster than light with dark matter, dark matter is exist. all scientist is know about that but they still difficult to make a time travel machine becouse they still searching fifth element of complete 5 higher force in this universe.

  • @TheUniversalshop more like...they're still searching for an astronomicly huge energy output. Having said that, they could fuel up somekind of interdimensional "machine" that could rip the fabric of the universe's tissue (dark, gray, whatever, "MATTER") and create a whormhole in wich the trip would still end on this universe, at wichever point we would want to appear.

  • I have a feeling that Déjà Vu is two separate/forked time lines that meet each other in one timeline.

  • I wonder what he thinks of Fringe..

  • olollolololololo deep doo doo

  • I could go back in time to my parents bedroom, slap my dad on his ass and say" HEY, I'M YOUR SON FROM THE FUTURE. HAHAHAHAHAHAH"

  • I USED TO TIME TRAVEL THROUGH THE MACHINE I MADE

THAN I TOOK AN ARROW TO THE KNEE

  • but ... if its real to travel in time, why we dont meet ppl from future?

  • @MusicAndParkour because you can only make the trip foward. And you can never come back. To travel back in time you have to achive a velocity higher than the speed of light (FTL - Faster Than Light)... and in theory, that's not possible. Time=movement; if there was no movement in the universe there would be no Time has we perceive it. You perceive time cause the earth is moving both arround herself and the sun, and the sun around the galaxy, and the galaxy due to the universe's expansion...

  • @crespo1983slb Gravity has a major effect on time. That's what he was talking about with our GPS system. Those satallites need to be calibrated constantly, because they are in an area where gravity nis not constant, therefore, time is not constant, so to say that we must travel beyond the speed of light isn't necessarily true. Controlling gravity is probably the key to time travel but movement is probably a big part as well. Interesting to ponder though!

  • @Landotter1 Gravity is a factor, but not a major one. An object distorces gravity at it's own location. I mean, gravity is almost like a palpable thing that exists everywhere and the object just by existing ocuppies the same space and distorces it. Imagine a stretched blanket; if you put a watermelon in the midle it will provoke a coned shaped alteration in it's horinzontal predisposition. One can even argue that gravity is an efect of movement...

  • @crespo1983slb I totally understand what you are getting at but according to the black hole guys, Gravity at the event horizon of a black hole may well stop time completely. I can see that and understand it and I can almost agree with that thought so I think gravity has a lot more to do with time than we may think!!! Interesting to think about, anyway! :-) Maybe we would have to travel through another, somewhat parallel time-space continuum.... hummmm ... scratching head....

  • @Landotter1 hummmm...TerraNova;) well, ye i agree, black holes are strange indeed...gravity has a very strange behavior when it comes to a blackhole location. I guess it's one of those universal aberrations that the current biological state of human civilization no matter the level of our tecnology, will never fully understand. Maybe the next homo sapiens sapiens sapiens will come to that...

  • Interesting thought. All those stories about ghosts - they ain't dead people, they are invisible people from the future! ;)

  • 1:14 Are you taking about Terminator? No, I'm talking about Back To The Future, YOU DUMB ASS.

  • Fortunately I went ahead in time when I reached 88 mph in my Delorean and have my year 2090 GPS!

  • anyone else here think this guy has the right to say "deep shit" instead of "deep doo doo"

  • Hi Doc Kaku, I'm your great grand son from the future! =D

  • To me, I believe that time travel as in traveling back in time can only be possible up to the time the first time machine emerge. You can only enter a house without a window through the door, not unless you'll smash a hole to it's wall to go inside. (which entirely not impossible)

  • this has answered the big dilemma I had about time travel and how it wouldn't be possible to change an objects state backwards because physically speaking time and an objects state can only go and move forwards

  • Sorry for my misspelling below, it should be Model of the Elegant Universe... Stupid iPad autocorrect :/

  • This is a part of the. Odell of the Elegant Universe, with multiple dimensions, worm holes, etc. it's an awesome concept and it may very well turn out to be the real deal

  • This man is indeed amazing. He harks back to the Tesla era. Without these men, the human race would be a mere war. Long live free-thinkers, unrestricted by any dogma other than their own moral compass.

  • What if I don't want to shag my mother ?

  • wow... just like Trunks

  • He is very very easy to believe!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • What would we do without you Michio Kaku :)

  • If Michio Kaku was in 18th century, he would invent a vacuum cleaner in the following way: "It's very simple, you'll just need a bit of dark matter that will suck all the dust inside..." XD

  • gps clocks are off because they're in outer space so they all have to be like 1/millionth of a second more than earth's time. so they probably pick up 'wrinkles' in time...or waves of time

  • If time travel is truly possible, there is NO God.

  • if you were to travel at the speed of light, time stops. so if you exceed the speed of light you go back in time. this has been proven.

  • I will always like this GUY!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @aldeed

i don't think you fully comprehend what "Theoretical" means lol..

    @theantihero420

    I completely agree with you.

it's like your old grammar school teacher. Just because she teaches you something does not make it true. If she had says 2+2=5 would that be true just because she's a teacher? ( a person who has more authority than you )

  • He makes many assertions, but what evidence backs up what he believes? I am not saying I think there isn't anything to back up his assertion, but what I want to know is, why should I believe his interpretation of Quantum Mechanics over the 20 or so other interpretations of Quantum Mechanics?

  • Comment removed

  • Because he is one of the worlds leading physicists and co-founder of the string theory. Enough said.

  • @aldeed I am sorry, but enough has not been said. Your appeal to his authority no more justifies his position than does any other appeal to authority. Being an authority on a subject does not mean you are right. There are around 20 or so different interpretations of Quantum Mechanics. Just because he is a leading physicist does not mean his interpretation of Quantum Mechanics is any more accurate than any other of the leading physicists whose interpretation of Quantum mechanics differs from his.

  • @theantihero420 Watch more of his videos, read his books, watch his TV Series' and you will see the evidence for yourself. No one on youtube is going to give you the evidence.

  • @aldeed that may be true; it is possible that no one on youtube has (let alone would share) the information that I desire to know. This however does not negate the need for asking such questions, nor does it nullify the fact that your first statement was blatantly false and a brushing away of the issues with an appeal to authority. I hope that others will see my comment and engage in critical thinking, rather than patently appealing to authority instead of dealing with the issues at hand.

  • maybe humans die off before they achieve time travel, or time travelers are disguisted, or time travel is possible but illegal . think about the chance you being alive is so small. 1 second of an instant changed means you are not here

  • fucking in the river of time..science, i think not

  • Well, That makes me feel better. At least in another universe the Star Wars prequels were better.

  • Doctor? IS THAT YOU?!!! You said five minutes.

  • So if I go back in time I have to have sex with my mom???!! Ummmm no thanx!!

  • @texansfan4eva I would go to the past to correct my mistakes.

  • ...dr...and then you woke up? What did you have for breakfast.

  • I'm sorry professor, I don't think time travel is possible. Einstein was wrong.

  • @D5932

It doesn't mater what you think, what maters is scientific fact, and there is a high probability that an internationally recognized physicist knows more about science than you do, so I would probably take his word for it. Not necessarily believe it 100%, because science doesn't deal with certainty, but at least be open minded about it. I say, its useless and unproductive to take sides. Just wait and see.

  • @HDaviator that's true. but that doesn't really make my words false, does it? Time travel's still a theory. And I think it's impossible, my opinion. Whether time travel's possible or not is not exactly proven. So I still have a chance to be right.

  • @D5932

Alright, why do you think its impossible? Like you said, its still a theory, it could go either way. So its useless to even have an opinion one way or the other. A productive person would have a neutral opinion on the mater, if anything be optimistic. Kaku said its theoretically possible, meaning it may not be possible in reality but it could be possible using mathematics. Those two aren't always connected.

  • @HDaviator okay. it's hard to explain. they say time slows down, speeds up relative to the speed and if one exceeds the light speed, he starts going backwards in time. i think it's not the time itself, but the exchange of atom and molecules between the body that's going back in time and the surrounding environment that slows down.

  • THUMBS UP IF YOUR WATCHING THIS IN 2050!!!

  • @6043231041 GOD this is so annoying to see in the top rated comments.

When I scroll down a couple of inches, taking my eyes of the main reason I'm on the page...to see the video, I expect to see somthing worth while and original.

Instead 30% of the time on all youtube vids I see an over used joke that isn't even that funny!

Stop trying to massage your ego by collecting little green numbers that are only a few pixles large.

  • @TheMushroomsAreHere .... what are you talking about? lol its called jokes...people like you are the people that dont take jokes...just gtfo if you dont understand the concept of JOKE! ... wait are you even talking to me?

  • @6043231041 Idiot, we won't live to see 2013, remember; NIBIRU!?!

  • @6043231041

No, thumbs up if you are watching this while being contemporary with...Socrates!

  • Why does this look green:

    |||||||| ?

  • Time Travel is possible, don't you see that he's Mr. Sulu?

  • 1:20-1:30 leads me to believe that there was a bowl or two smoked prior to this interview.

  • my theory on why time travelers cannot travel back to us: time is still being written, they can only travel back, when it has actually been invented, since it would be a repeat

  • I didn't know Jimmy Page knew physics

  • hahahaha...."crying to their mother"

  • oh i dont want to be in big du du

  • moral of the story...we all fucked our mothers lol

  • omfg he's a genious....Everything he said makes sence...It does explain the paradox's that everyone is thinking of...

  • This guys is a genious more people should listen to him!

  • Heres a thought that may fry your brain. If our universe has no end and is indeed infinite and their are also an infinite alternate universes and thso euniverses are also infinite. this is called the bubble theory. now tell me their is no other inteligent

    life out their ;p

  • @speeedytc The universe is not infinite or else nothing would have ever started...

  • @jimmyt3411 heres a thought, if you were to be past all the stars all the galaxies to the edge of nothingness and beyond to where it was nothing but blackness... r u still moving ? does time exist? just because their is an absess of objects doesent mean that you have come to an end. or do you belive it curves and you come back around? sooo in other words no such thing as a straight line. that would mean you belive were in a bubble.whats out side the bubble? is it posible to get out of the bubble

  • @speeedytc No, by definition nothingness is a state where only nothingness exists, you would not be able to exit out of this bubble because you exist. It would seem you would only come around on a curve back to this universe.

  • I want to be smart! Too bad I'm not.

  • how exactly can we measure the river of time by gps? I'm really curious!

  • @znubzz188 Becuase time is just a unit of measure of actually distance time and space is relative to one another. By moving around the sun we create time/ soo time is actually the movement of one place to another and how long it took to get theri is the unit of measure derived form the earth moving around the sun....

  • @speeedytc cool tnx for explaining the concept, can they and do they measure any variability in time due to change in the speed with which the earth travels around the sun though?

  • wgats is 60 mph? a unit of measure or a unit of time? its both combined and you cant have one with out the other correct? so its relative. if you were told that you were traveling 60 mph your whole life and that mean in 1 hour you traveld 60 miles right?? how is that hour defined tho? by the rotation of our earth... sopooo what if our rotation of our earth was 20 hours for a complete rotation? it would still be relative accpet 60 mph in a 24 hour world vrs a 60 mph in a 20 hour world,,,

  • I'm asking cuz the way Michio described it does imply that this is the case....

  • @znubzz188 due to the speed of the satillites traveling around the planet they travel slower through time from our perspective. which the computers on the satillite have to account for in order to give you the right directions. sorry about the spelling i could look up the words i just dont give a shit

  • @znubzz188 Time dilation. tv = t0/(sqrt(1-(v/c)^2))

  • @znubzz188 GPS adjusts for distance based on einstein's theory or relativity or something

  • @znubzz188 GPS runs on satellites, which are in space, where time is slower.

  • @znubzz188 GPS doesn't just go by position, it actually goes by time, for the most part anyway. That's just my guess that it measures the river of time. But it is a fact that a GPS goes by time.

  • After watching the video, I was persuaded to believe in time travel (Travel through multiple universes).

  • Maby we are a parallel universe where John Wilkes Booth went back in time and decided to shoot Abraham Lincoln? i dont know just a thought

  • Would it bee a copyright infringement to sample what michio is saying and use it in one of my songs?

  • @KyleLiggett

    i don't think he would mind :)

  • What he says sounds reasonable to me...

  • Paradox

  • So Time Travel can essentially be seen as jumping between universes that are relatively at the same relative position but they're farther behind in terms of events. My brain....

  • @CoreyLongmire , Kaku already answered your question. There could be multiple realities. In one reality, time travelers could have been caught and proven. In another reality, time travelers were never seen. I believe we belong to the second reality I just mentioned.

  • I guess everyone's hear the latest breakthrough as of a few days ago saying time travel may be possible at least at a subatomic level.

I wonder if something I've stumbled across could open new doors in scientific research. If you follow my link to see my first upload "Witness a Miracle" you'll see what I'm talking about. The first few moments after it comes into focus are key to watch, and it easier to see full screen. I swear this footage is genuine. p.s I'm not selling anything.

  • "If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned." (John 15:6)

Jesus looked at his critics "with anger" (Mark 3:5), and attacked merchants with a whip (John 2:15). He showed his respect for life by drowning innocent animals (Matthew 8:32). He refused to heal a sick child until he was pressured by the mother (Matthew 15:22-28).

    wtf jesus

  • Fascinating.

  • @CoreyLongmire you tell me why those people have to do all that stuff? perhaps they have more important things to do and they are afraid that we may steal their technology and misuse it for example to make a time travel and kill some one who will lead a revolution against a dictator regime. I think we haven't proved our selves to them enough and just take a look at news and see what horrible things humans are capable of.

  • okay michio can you explain to me ehy these invisible people dont want to make themselves known. Do you really think everyone who goes back in the past or has the power to go back in the past will "care" so much about the delicacy of changing the future that not one person makes themselves known??? Im pretty sure someone from the future would would have prevent 9/11, proved or disproved Christianity, stopped many disasters and so forth. Someone please help me.

  • All religions are ferry tails, there is no heaven, no hell, no crazy prophets all is pure invention to control people and politics, mathematics and science is true facts, now all morons not capable of putting this info in their brains , should not comment here, and by the way there was not adam and eve, there was only evolution of species ( Darwing )

  • @lacoimabrava jesus was a real normal person,he just taught love and peace.

  • i have a class in high school called "Science of Science Fiction" where we discuss subjects of science fiction, and we study off of this book. best class ever.

  • The world would be a better place if everyone listened to him

  • @xUndyingRage i bet thats what they said about jesus aswell

    try thinking for yourself!

  • @trollope4lyf2k8 ...The world would be a lot better if everyone did what Jesus said. Whether you believe he is the son of God or not, he's a hell of a philosopher.
