  • $29,000 is the second highest jackpot on the feud.

  • I agree with Hondo20132.I don't like the family videos as well, not to be nasty but they are lame. But I do like the car idea.nice car by the way.If a family does win it will there be another car like it or somthing differeny?

  • I just saw the actual thing this morning. Doesn't look bad at all, although having the contestant interviews in quick little videos is not that good for me.

  • Hopefully they'll be a dub over and edit with the correct amount of $25,000 for the Decker family.

  • Yes! of course ;-)

  • I could've rated this clip 5 stars if only the show used the theme song from the 1994-95 season. I think FremantleMedia ought to be notified that what many people (including me) prefer is the 1994-95 theme. The theme used from 1988-1994 does NOT fit with the updated look!

  • I have a question, is it possible that you can make the podium flash in the introduction as it did in the Dawson era. I thought with the dark lighting in the intro it would look cool. Just a thought.

  • I like how the Bullseye round seems faster-paced than it did during the Combs era, and the addition of a car for 5-time champs will be a nice addition to the new season...looking forward to it!

  • Cool! Love it!

  • I like the faster pace for it..it doesn't drag the show down like the Combs version.

  • I actually like the bullseye rounds.

One idea you could use is having the '94 "Bankroll" values ($1K, $3K, $5K). That way, it wont drag the show on too long.

  • I heard the format is now Bullseye-Single-Double-Triple-Triple(SD).

My biggest concern about this is that it renders the single and double point rounds completely useless, like what happened in 1999 with the old show. If you're gonna keep this format, couldn't you do Bullseye-Single-Single-Double-Triple-Triple(SD)? That at least would put some meaning to the first rounds.

  • Commercials :l

  • hey how do they win the car?

  • If a family wins 5 games in a row...they win the car!

  • That's sweet!!!! I have a proposal for like the tourney of champs this season. I've seen the austrailian version of FF and their fast money round went like your money will be determined by how many number one answers the first player gets. I propose that they start off with $15k, $20k for 1 top answer, $25k for 2, $40k for 3, $50k for 4, and $100k for all 5. So like a potential $500,000 win for the tournament winners!

  • Nice Copy of Jack Barry and Dan Enright Games of the 1970's :)

  • Another idea that I like what others are saying as well, why not display the totals on the podiums? All of the graphics make the show look too much like millionaire. Just keep it simple and classic

  • I have to say I was worried when I heard that the bullseye round would be brought back because it sucked with Combs. But for some reason it seems to fit this version better. My only question is why not show the bank totals on the screen behind the families? Also, I love the classic theme but can we please use the face-off cues. It gets old hearing the same song over and over and over.

  • Thanks for all your input! It helps us continue to improve the show!

  • I love it. Keeps the show fast paced, and fills up some of the dead time that would otherwise be there. This version keeps true to the Family Feud game from its original in the 1970s, but has it's own modern day feel, not to mention John O'Hurley is fantastic. Wish I had the means to get out to watch a taping.

  • Thanks for the nice comment! You are exactly right.

  • I hated this in '92, and still do now. The main game will now be rushed, ruining the interactions between the host and contestants. There's a reason why Dawson wanted to scrap it when he returned in '94.

  • Instead of the on-screen graphics, why not expand the eggcrate displays on the family podiums to 5 digits and keep a running total after each question is answered, or use the monitors on each side of the board to show the totals...adds to the suspense in my opinion. I am so glad Bullseye is back and am looking forward to this season!

  • Just out of curiosity, where did you guys get the idea for giving away cars to families who won 5 games in a row? Are the producers big fans of the Jack Barry & Dan Enright classics? :)

  • One major gripe about using the classic music. You guys have the rights to all of the music. Can it pleased be used properly?! All of those faceoff cues just going waste is a shame!!!

  • For the first time since the early 1990's.

  • I'm actually happy to see this return. It's nice to see the Anchors able to get the big money for their team, since they rarely get to participate in the face-off.

Will the game still be to 300 following the S-S-D-T point value format?

If only I could see the show here in Korea. Until then, I'll have to be happy with things you post here!

  • Bad, very bad.

It happen in the early 90s with the Combs version and it didn't last it took him out.

Let me give a good example, try to use what the Mexican version did years ago. Use bonuses if they get all the #1 answers. From $1,000-$2,000 in bonuses. That's my opinion.

  • Yeah the Decker's should have $25,000. Not $29,000.

  • You are right. This will be corrected before the show airs.

  • Okay. Also, why did you guys remove the family names behind the podiums? They would of been good to use to show the family name along with their bank for fast money instead of having the on screen graphics. Just my opinion :)

  • Wow. Just...wow.

  • WOW! ;-)

  • What I don't understand based on these two clips is how these families got extra money (not from the questions they answered) when they started at $15,000.

  • At the beginning, $15K is given to each family to "seed" their pot. The Bullseye enables them to add to that pot. Questions are $1K,2K,3K,4K & 5K (another $15K potential)

They play for their total pot in Fast Money.

  • That's not what I meant. What I meant was that the Decker family in this clip got $29,000 when they should've gotten $25,000, and the Fischbeck family in the other clip had $20,000 when they should've had $17,000. How is this possible?

  • Yeah. Something doesn't add up with the money totals. You should only have $45,000 total up in the banks at most. How do you have $47,000 total in the banks, especially when one question was not answered?

  • Bad idea! Very bad!

$150,000 may be fun to be able to win, but the bullseye round was a bad idea in the 90's and won't be a good idea now.

  • ;-(

  • I'm sorry to sound negative, but the Bullseye round removes a single=point round from the game, thusly causing a bigger chance of needing sudden-death rounds.
