damn! :( I JUST WANTED TO SAY... thank you for all the uploads i am greatly appreciated with what you did. this show brought great memories... i was a teenager when this came out and because of my ADD i gaved 1 flying fuck about it :( i gotta admit, if i paid attention to this show back than, half of the shit that went down to me as a teenager, i would have taking it very differently if i had this show as a guidance tool.

the show was cancelled because the initial airing really didn't get much reception, probably because it wasn't being aimed towards teenagers which is why there are such long sections about the parents. it was just a normal evening tv show
Brain (:P) is such a nice guy, cant help but feel sorry for him! Can't believe this only got 1 season, this and Freaks & Geeks. Both clearly deserved second season!

My guess is that they thought the series would get another season so they wanted to end it really exciting so people would keep watching. Wonder why it ended? I saw it when it came out and loved it and I love it now as well! Claire Danes and Jared Leto are both really good actors. Don´t like that Brian-character so I´m gonna pretent that Angela forgave Jordan :)

They should continue this show with the same characters with other people acting. So they'd find a new Angela, Rayanne, Ricky, Jordan, Brian---so what! I honestly would not mind other actors being put in. It's all about the storyline! They just cannot leave this series like this. I've fallen in love with all of the characters... they are all so complex and unique.

And then this completly normal girl comes and he doesn't know how to behave. He tries it in his own way, which then sucks.
But wow he tries. He's an idiot. But one you have no other choice but to love!
NO WAY, this is how it ended??? If they were not going to make a second season, they could have made a real ending !! This series was good, I so want more !!
well I see it this way, just like angela's mother said, she dated a jordan in the past but he wasn't the man she choose to be with. i get that feeling at the end of this episode. Like jordan might be this short lived adventure but brian could be someone she'd choose to make her life with...who knows. that's what i choose to believe since there's no freakin season2 and this show was like 17 years ago...
Okay i feel for Jordan just because i truly believed that he loves Angila. But because he did not understand big words, i mean you can't forget the fact that he is illiterate, so he asked Brian to help him the only smart person he knows that is good with English. I think that Jordan was nervous and he didn't know what to say to her. Basically i like Angila /Jordan mainly because he did something to win her over and Brian didn't do anything. that was a horrible ending. Oh god I want to rewind time and make the writers change it! Poor Brian, he's like adorable, def my type...Jordan is too much of a dumbass...all he did throughout the entire season was send mixed signals to Angela, pressure her into sex and sleep with her best friend! Brian on the other hand has done a lot for angela, she's so damn blind.
Omg, what compelled me to watch all of the 19 episodes was to see Angela give just one damn kiss -- or at the very least acknowledge Brian cuz he's such a great guy. Why, o why, couldn't they end this this show with her doing that, instead of her driving off with Jordan?!

I was 13/14 when this came out, and it we were all glued to the telly to watch this show. It hit the nail on the head, its so funny turning 30 in 3 wks and now you're like Angela you idiot but back then we were all hoping that things wud work out for her and Jordan would realise he loved her, and turn into the prince.... Many men and many years later, changes your perspective, u dont have that as a teen thats why it was so perfect... Brilliant show I will be gettin the box set for my teens!
i know she was having issues with studying and workin on the filming so all that blah blah about it made the ratings go down without a season 2 but it would have been SO AWESOME if there were a 2nd season :(
I feel really bad for Jordan because it's not that he's dumb... he's actually very intelligent, just never got a proper education...I guess no one really cared about him enough..Thats why he loves Angela, because she actually cared..............why the fuck only one season though??? this story needed to develop
@komalsamra I completely agree with you, Jordan is a great guy and the fact that he didn't write the letter means nothings, because although he couldn't express himself, he really loved Angela, and that's what it matters.
I definately think Brian deserved at least one kiss.
This was an enjoyable series, but frustrating. There just wasn't enough of the good stuff. And you have to skip all the whiney adult crap. It's one of those which you find yourself shouting at the characters for them to stop being so blind and WAKE UP.
It was another misguided network decision whereby the network cancelled the show due to low ratings (according to them). Was really a shame because the cast members are only that young once, the writing was great (except for a few episodes where Angela meets 'ghosts', which easily could have been jump the shark types of episodes if those themes would have continued), and that time period could only be realistically relevant for so long. Was really too bad as it is a great show :(
I think it didn´t work cause it was not clear to which audience was intended for. Teenager dont like watching parents romance... less if that is the only romance! Also it had to many paranormal events (ghost, angel) and social issues (sex, alcohol, drugs, sexual tendency, infidelity) discussions in so little episodes. I loved it, l still do. I wish Brain had the chance to kiss Angela at some point. Even if it was when "let me tell you what I dreamed last night" was the story line...

i loved in this show how angela, ricky and rayanne always kissed each other on the cheek.. i wished that angela had done that to rayanne in this last episode.. but i kind of had the feeling that she already forgave rayanne in her heart even if she never told her.
I hate the fact that they let this end like this. They SO should make a re-make of this show. Just like this one, in the 90's, same storyline but with different actors - unfortunately (I love this cast so freaking much). If they did it I'd totally fly over to America and go to the casting. I love, love, love this show.

Well that was disappointing for a last episode...I'm just happy that Angela and Jordan ended up together. Don't get me wrong, Brian is kind of awkwardly adorable, but Jordan is...Jordan. When Angela's mom opened the dorr and Jordan was standing there I was so happy! I'm glad they ended up getting back together after all. But this does leave us haning...if there was a second season, would she leave him for Brian? And would she and Rayanne be friends ever again? Now I want to see more!!!

It's kind of fitting that everything is up in the air--this show was mostly about longing--each of the characters was longing for something and what they got was maybe not what they thought they wanted, but maybe something really good if they would just stop and LOOK at it. Life is so like this--look at things!!!

I always love that conversation between Brian and Angela at the end of the season. Their eyes just tell so much. I mean, yes she went back with Jordan at the end of the series finale but the looks they shared portray a lot. For me, personally. I see her taking into consideration what Brian said and giving him a chance. Maybe not right away but later in season two. They had a lot of chemistry!
HOW CAN IT JUST END LIKE THIS!? I need more! they could have expanded so much in a second season! What happened to Brian!? Did Jordan and Angela stay together!? Did she ever forgive Rayan!!? I NEED ANSWERS!

The best thing about the series was how REAL the conversations are. Like at 14:02 when Brian said "See ya" it sounded so non-chalant, but his heart was probably broken cause he willl NEVER get the girl and he knows it. But at that moment it was all he could do. Seriously, who hasn't been in that situation in real life?
Morale of the series. If your trying to win the heart of a girl, make sure there isn't someone that looks like Jared Leto in the picture. No matter how hard you try and how sweet you are, you will still LOSE the girl!!
Omgosh did I love that! I sorta watched 'em all over the course of four days. Haha.
On a side note, doesn't this cast have, like, the prettiest eyes? And, is it just me, or does Brian Krakow have, like, the best lips ever? Whenever they go for a close up I can't help but look at his lips. He's so cute I could kiss him! Haha. Mmmm.

She said it was because she wanted to do movies.... welp looks like you got real far with that one Claire! This was and would have been an awesome show that could go on to 7 seasons or so! i know she was having issues with studying and workin on the filming so all that blah blah about it made the ratings go down without a season 2 but it would have been SO AWESOME if there were a 2nd season :(

This was an enjoyable series, but frustrating. There just wasn't enough of the good stuff. And you have to skip all the whiney adult crap. It's one of those which you find yourself shouting at the characters for them to stop being so blind and WAKE UP.

It was another misguided network decision whereby the network cancelled the show due to low ratings (according to them). Was really a shame because the cast members are only that young once, the writing was great (except for a few episodes where Angela meets 'ghosts', which easily could have been jump the shark types of episodes if those themes would have continued), and that time period could only be realistically relevant for so long. Was really too bad as it is a great show :(

I think it didn´t work cause it was not clear to which audience was intended for. Teenager dont like watching parents romance... less if that is the only romance! Also it had to many paranormal events (ghost, angel) and social issues (sex, alcohol, drugs, sexual tendency, infidelity) discussions in so little episodes. I loved it, l still do. I wish Brain had the chance to kiss Angela at some point. Even if it was when "let me tell you what I dreamed last night" was the story line...

i loved in this show how angela, ricky and rayanne always kissed each other on the cheek.. i wished that angela had done that to rayanne in this last episode.. but i kind of had the feeling that she already forgave rayanne in her heart even if she never told her.

I hate the fact that they let this end like this. They SO should make a re-make of this show. Just like this one, in the 90's, same storyline but with different actors - unfortunately (I love this cast so freaking much). If they did it I'd totally fly over to America and go to the casting. Well that was disappointing for a last episode...I'm just happy that Angela and Jordan ended up together. Don't get me wrong, Brian is kind of awkwardly adorable, but Jordan is...Jordan. When Angela's mom opened the dorr and Jordan was standing there I was so happy! I'm glad they ended up getting back together after all. But this does leave us haning...if there was a second season, would she leave him for Brian? And would she and Rayanne be friends ever again? Now I want to see more!!!

It's kind of fitting that everything is up in the air--this show was mostly about longing--each of the characters was longing for something and what they got was maybe not what they thought they wanted, but maybe something really good if they would just stop and LOOK at it. Life is so like this--look at things!!!

I always love that conversation between Brian and Angela at the end of the season. Their eyes just tell so much. I mean, yes she went back with Jordan at the end of the series finale but the looks they shared portray a lot. For me, personally. I see her taking into consideration what Brian said and giving him a chance. Maybe not right away but later in season two. They had a lot of chemistry!

The best thing about the series was how REAL the conversations are. Like at 14:02 when Brian said "See ya" it sounded so non-chalant, but his heart was probably broken cause he willl NEVER get the girl and he knows it. But at that moment it was all he could do. Seriously, who hasn't been in that situation in real life?

WHAT. THE. HELL!!! How could this possibly be the last episode? That pisses me off sooo bad! Claire Danes is an asshole for not wanting to do the show anymore! She said it was because she wanted to do movies.... welp looks like you got real far with that one Claire! This was and would have been an awesome show that could go on to 7 seasons or so! The only reason the show had low ratings is because there were new episodes of 4 other shows on the same night!
