  • music forced me to thumbs down :( ill thumbs up a better video of the ripsaw to ballance it out xD

  • Yeah, credit Ripsaw for what any vehicle with a track setup could do. Heck, a tractor would suffice :/

  • A Hummer in the snow is like hitch hiking in your back yard, it does nothing. the person with the Hummer should invest in Mattracks. At least he won't get stuck at every turn. Another one that was taken in by cheap publicity.

  • what the hell is that thing

  • Didnt look very stuck.

  • The original purpose of this vehicle was to be an all terrain riding lawn mower.

  • What a bunch of whiners here, damn.

That is a cool build, whats it original purpose?

Do you do more of these kind of rescue operations? :D

  • this song sucks

  • If the engine in the Hummer was off, it would be impressive. The fact is that is doesn't take THAT much power (with good traction) to "unstick" a vehicle, especially something as capable as a Hummer. Even a stuck vehicle can move a bit, so whichever (Hummer or Ripsaw) moved first, really doesn't matter.

  • @zcardman2007 exactly, i had my 4runner almost tipped stuck in a ditch and a silly jeep commander pulled me out...but i was in low gear so it didnt matter it could have been a prius and still would have pulled me out.

  • Why are retards saying the hummer moved first, you can clearly see the left track of the Ripsaw move (1:40) before the hummer even moves, I suggest you rewind it a little. The other fact is this vehicle isn't meant for this although it can do it, you might wanna watch the other videos of it going faster than every tank out there and moving over terrain most tanks can't.

  • Whut the name of the song

  • is that thing remote controlled and how much??

  • even if the hummer was stuck, (what i don't believe) it would also get out with a pair of cattepilartracks

  • Cienkie!!! HAHA :) Przed laty Polskim polonezem lepiej szalałem po śniegu...

  • This video is a set up to make the Ripsaw toy look good. That H1 was not stuck, unless the owners were complete morons. Fake, and I love the was the H1 moves first.

Pulled out a lot of trucks with my HUMMER, when they are stuck you have to snatch them, so fake

  • great video just bad music

  • fucking gay the h1 moved first

  • ...the RipSaw Riiiippppsss!

  • funny how the H1 started climbin out of there before ripsaw even moved

  • lol yup its unfortunate that the line is slack as the hummer comes out of the hole....

  • THE BEST BET WAS WHEN THE HUMMER DROVE HOME AND YOUR SILLY TOY WENT BACK ON THE TRAILER......

  • @wright17wright17 the best part was when that toy pulled ur hummer out of that hole that it could get out of even tho its supposed to be able to go through anything. boy that was an awesome part. maybe next time the toy should just say home and leave ur sorry ass there

  • @AceOfSpades725

take a 2nd look dude....the H1 drives its self out. there is no pull on the line from toy to H1 and when it dose come out the line has slack in it. even a bright guy like you would know that means the silly toy did fuck all.

i'm not saying its not more (off road) capable...just that it did not do what they said it did...so take that ace of spades and thumb it in your pipe and smoke it.

  • @wright17wright17 ok i see what ur saying but there was tension if even a little, all im saying that the ripsaw did pull it out, did it do all the work no but without any of the slightest bit of tension that it did give that hummer would sit there spinning its tires trying to get out

  • BEAST

  • what the fuck? if you pay attention to the slack on the chain you will notice that peice of shit didnt pull out the hummer there was tension on the line till the hummer hit the gas and drove out of the puddle.

  • @dtaft01so it didnt pull the hummer out. well if the hummer hit the gas and drove out why couldnt it do that in the first place? weird

  • @AceOfSpades725 obvious dummy, they want to make the "ripsaw" look way more bad ass than an h1 fuck that ripsaw, can you take and offroad the shit out of it and still drive it home on the street? not really, the h1 could be build way more bad ass if it wasnt street legal

  • @dtaft01 actually that ripsaw could go offroading all day and come home it could do anything but go completely underwater, it is scientifically more capable to go offroading than the hummer because of the tracks they dont slip 99% of the time, offroad tires can only go so far before they start slipping and ur stuck. and even the military h1 wasnt much better just had better suspension and a higher water clearance (5ft) which is insane. but reliability wise ripsaw wins, badassness is a tie imo

  • @AceOfSpades725 actually stupid fuck i was meaning the hummer is still bad ass and street legal. how awesome would a street legal ripsaw be? they would call it an h1 with cattracks

  • @AceOfSpades725 First of all, Humvee don't have better suspension then H1.

    'and come home' , huh?

And what if home 200 miles away by means of asphalt road? What you genius going to do then?

    Grow up.

  • that machine is the shit wow

  • Music sucks.......

  • yeah would have been nice to hear what the howes were saying but the stupid music was playing

  • seriously, that's the most badass machine ever!

  • nice RC-Car :-)

  • Is it radio controlled!

  • lol just gut the call , you morons

  • awesome

  • expect the us army to be using these within the next year or so

  • that is the sickest vehicle i have ever seen

  • @annilator666 not ever seen....just ever!! :D

  • That is truly an awesome peice of machinery. Om going to build one fuck yeah. i bet you could get e defence contract for building s shit load of full remote control auto loading tanks also. Remote wars. Shoot nukles an shit at each other. total devestation. Sorry i love war. not death just army shit fucking awesome.

  • OMG i just realised this is RC!! that's cool

  • Крутой велик :))

  • do you still have the original ripsaw ?

  • tracks vs wheels = no contest.

  • god limp bizkit sucks

  • well... maybe the hummer had a wench and a winch... lol

  • @southberwick3 thing is how much cable is on that winch no one noes that

  • To the winch, wench!

  • @dcpvmax it is not staged i was there

  • yah it had a winch, but WTF good is a winch when your in the middle of a field with nuthing to attach it to you f-in retard

  • Why have a wench without all accessories? Like a shovel, sledgehammer, gaffs/spikes, extra rope/cable, block and tackle, clevises etc.. I never went offroad without tools to get myself un-stuck. If you do not have the tools, at least off-road with someone that can help you out. Anyone that does not go prepared, deserves to get embarassed.

  • You bury something (spare tire, hi-lift, big log, etc) and attach your winch to it. Then you're pulling against the ground.

  • @warus05 u dont need a tree or somthing tall to hook a winch to

  • @warus05 they were gonna attach it to their hopes and dreams

  • stfu who cares, this is sick

  • your obviously completely ignorant to offroading and mud.

  • I love how limp bizkit is the music

  • Imagine what the towel heads will be thinking when they see this thing cruising along without anybody in it, with this massive badass trail of sand and dust in the air around it.

  • looks like he tied it the diff on the saw there

  • ok first and most important, if there is a motor vehicle in your video, DO NOT FUCK UP THE VIDEO WITH MUSIC! idiots

  • new2222;DITTO!

  • @new222utube And if you must fuck up the video with music, don't fuck up the music with FCC inspired censoring. Idiots

  • the music really ruined the whole bit the motor sound makes me giddy!

  • The Ripsaw is a nice bit of kit to be sure, as an unmanned recon/light assault vehicle it could be very effective. I was curious how the H1 got "stuck" though. Its a wide flat open field covering in what looks like at least 1-2ft of snow, yet it's stuck in a 1ft deeply trenched muddy hole with almost no snow around it. Sure the H1 a 30 year old design, but it's still considered a very capable vehicle and the conditions weren't that bad.

  • No doubt, H1s r capable... It got stuck in a stream that ran through the middle of the field and was covered by the snow.

  • @colonelbanditsix

Looks like a frozen over creek to me...But I agree, the HUMVEE is still very capable.

  • h1 are shit

  • songs called

    Rollin' (Urban Assault Vehicle)

    Limp Bizkit

album is Chocolate Starfish And The Hot Dog Flavored Water

  • song?

  • what is the name of the song i really like it

  • this is like having a rc car but for adults... fucking sweet. I would be in jail If I owned one of these lol

  • this time of year, i cant help but wonder, how would that do with a snowplow on it? you could probably push snow into the next zip code!

  • It looks fairly light for its size.

  • check out the new military Ripsaw 2 seater.... ITs unreal!!!!!!!! utube search Ripsaw MS2

  • okay what powers the ripsaw

  • a Turbo powered 6.6l Diesel pushing 650HP and 900 lb torque.

  • Super truck boys

  • its a tank u dumb yank of corse its not gona get stuck lol

  • ripsaw remote controlled?

  • it can be driven by a person or remote controlled.... the us millitary is workin on mass producing these as unmanned ground vehicles

  • Ripsaw Rocks! Song blows!

  • yo smartie-pants, it's called a Humvee.

just to have something to say you know, not meant tot be mean

  • a humvee is military a hummer is civilian

  • i know, but a hummer isn;t so damn wide you know.

(sorry for the late reaction btw)

  • now that's proper offroading

  • Just imagine calling AAA and seeing that thing come to your rescue!

  • limp bizkit = badass

  • ripsaw is a beast..... the millitary is currently developing one that is unmanned

  • That one looked unmanned to me. Maybe you mean autonomous. I make no claim to know what the military is doing though.

  • Ruined a good video with the music......

  • @tgbluesky Got that rite!

  • i cant wait to see a few of these in action. I know its not a main battle tank but the guns look a little small?

  • This one actually doesn't have any guns on it. The military is slapping a M240 (I think) on top mounted on a remote control turret. Not the most armament but the Ripsaw isn't really about firepower, now is it? I think splatters would be the most gratifying way to kill the enemy with the Ripsaw. :P

  • guess what I want for Xmas >:D

  • lol, don't we all, but I'm sure if it was for sale it'd be reeeeaaaal cheap. not.

  • O_O I havent seen any vids on Ripsaw since like.. the first one ..... ITS REMOTE CONTROLLED NOW?!

  • Comment removed

  • That is a bad ass vehicle !!! I would love to own one of those things

  • i wonder what would happen if ripsaw made a break for it. LOL

  • Impractical. You have to use a tow truck.

  • Cool! I didn't know that the ripsaw is RC now. Although I would prefer to drive manually!

  • thats insane!!

  • it's remote controled now huh

  • I don't know what that is, but its pretty badass

  • sweet machine.

  • Niggers drive H2 or H3. H1 is real man chose!!!

  • real men do not compare themselves to others. Thus, you are a pussy and not a real man.

  • Hummers are for MTV niggers

  • rats

  • yeah do the community a favor.

Burn the ripsaw and that fuckin shit HUMMER

  • Looks like something the government would use for Martial Law!

  • thank you.

  • The only real innovation is the track tensioning system that allows an unprecedented amount of suspension travel. That and it has a redesigned mechanism to connect the track cleats so it's lighter and stronger so it cant spin at 60mph.

  • Comment removed

  • SuperI.....Lets c..... Innovation:

    14" of suspension (never done)

lighest fastest tracked vehicle ever built

    Computer Controlled (not RC)

Differential clutching system never seen before

Control and speed of a fast ass 4 wheeler

Abilty to climb over walls that would leave wheeled and other tracked vehicles either turttled or upside down.

  • I just don't get what the innovation is...they made a small unarmoured tank....with...tracks....and surprise..it has more traction on snow than a hummer...??? Any decent tracked ATV could do the same. Is the innovation that it's radio controlled like a toy car ?

  • lol, true

  • the ripsaws main inovation is the track tensioning system on the front guide wheels that let hit hit much higher speeds without throwing a track. the previous speed record for a tracked vehicle was the m1a1 abrams at 50 mph, the ripsaw hits 60mph and has never thrown a track. the army has bought development rights to the desighn and have instaled weapons systems on it to use it as a forward uav scout for military convoys

  • It is also the fastest tracked vehicle in the world and can go over terrain no other can.

  • second fastest. it is the fastest dual-tracked vehicle; the M1 J10 has four tracks and can move at over 200 mph on sand.

  • Dude the M1 J10 is just a photoshoped Abrams. read before you post no-existant facts.

  • bullshit, everything i read on the internet is true.

  • hahahahahah you got jokes!!!!!!

  • the M1J10 was the biggest fake

one of the problems they had with the early ripsaw was the weight of the tracks, the centrifugal force was too great, so it wouldn't go very fast they had to make lightweight tracks, to have a tank that big doing that sort of speed is CRAZY. it would simply crush the front and back guide wheels as the track tries to go circular a tank that size also wouldn't be able to turn and how would they deploy it when its that size it would only go on ships

  • I like how you use the tracks as the reason it could not posibly go that fast. I was stuck trying to think of what engine they could possibly put in it powerful enough to do 200 miles an hout with a 1000 ton tank.

  • yes the weight thing is an issue for speed, but with heavy tracks at high speed when they are spinning they simply tear themselves apart the more weight the more force, the tracks was one of the issues for the ripsaw they needed light tracks, look into it

  • I wish I had some of what your smoking.

  • gimme your adress ill mail you some.

  • Sweet!

I will pm you my adress.

  • Cool invention, decent video, Stupid fucken music.

  • Agreed.

  • Yeah, too much swearing.

  • RC Super Vehicles.

The sliding scale is demonstrated here - Heavy-Duty and Large-Scale with unprecedented 60mph speed.

    20mph faster than an M1Abrams!

Add a T-100 torso and prepare for Skynet 2.0

    THIS THING IS WICKED!

  • these guys made this thing in there garage the army adopted it and now it has a chain gun on top and is used for scout missions its 750k

  • 760k

  • Prom popular science, I know that the guys who built it were trying to get a military contract, but is there a video of the final military version?

  • yea try to find it, its chasis are covered by armor and it has a chain gun on top

  • i saw it too ,it had the army logo all over it

  • now thats a good remote control car!

  • Dude, these guys won the Popular Science best inventors/invention of the year award! The competitors had fancy labs and support money but these guys did this in there garage!

  • The funny thing is, this is the world's most advanced offroad and military vehicle, and it was built by two guys in their garage.

  • Most great inventions are. No amount of funding can make up for a lack of ingenuity. I personally am working on an insanely simple airgun that could theoretically cycle over 60 times per second

  • Really? Is it just gravity fed or have a constant flow or something? I would like to see designs and discuss that.

  • It can use both. I would love to show the design to people for independent critique, but I will refrain from doing so until I have obtained a patent.

Once I've got it, I will definitely post some stuff on here and hopefully put it on the market. Until then, I'll keep it between me and my closest friends/family. The design could also be integrated into a pneumatic lift cylinder, but I don't know how much of an improvement it would be over pre-existing designs

  • The fact that you say very simple design leads me to believe that it's probably just some BBs getting poured into a tube of flowing gas. I know how much of a pain in the ass it is for someone to rip off your ideas, so I understand why you wouldn't want to share your design. I once gave a program I made to some guy for beta testing and he sent it to all of his friends. But I assure you I won't steal your idea if you do want some feedback.

  • Your assumption perturbs me. In my original statement, I specifically said "cycle", not "shoot", therefore indicating a moving mechanism. I will not show drawings yet, but I can assure you it's not what you assumed. Any idiot can build what you described. My design has a mechanism that is reduced to the point of irreducible complexity: make it any simpler, and it cannot function. If you'll be patient, you will get to see it in due time

  • Ok. Cool. I see that I underestimate you. Most of the people who claim they have a good idea are just doing something they saw in a youtube video. But yes, don't forget to share it with me when you feel secure about it.

  • I'm glad we see eye to eye. I'll do what I can to remember this once I get the patent, but to be sure you could suscribe to my channel. You don't have to, but at least that way you'd be able to see it in case I forget. Hopefully it won't be too long

  • you sound like an ass hole... that is all

  • I've been called worse things

  • pretty sweet RC

  • The H1 is a joke!

  • It looks like an old British Mark I tank, except not as heavily armored and is faster. :)

  • I... want... one...

  • This was in popular science, it cost $750,000.

  • omg this is sooooo cool

  • i give you 2 dollars and a half snickers for that

  • you should sell that to the military, the army buys anything and for double what its worth :)

  • that deal is already on the table according to popular science. they were granted a 1.5 million dollar research fund to improve the design... hope i'm still in the army to see one of these in action.

  • i know i saw, this thing=BEAST

  • I hear you gomerkyle9 I happen to go to Knox for basic but live a few hours from Benning where everything is being moved to. And I hope to see one of these babies in combat overseas one day.

  • This one is RC..hmmm

  • this has to be one od the sickest things i've ever seen since the real life warthog i personally like the one you can ride in though just cause you can ride in it but his ones amazing

  • a real live pig!!! or the the halo one....?

  • 2 reasons why the Ripsaw is so badass. It has TRACTION and CLEARANCE.

  • what song is that

  • rollin by limp bizkit

  • should start an offroad towing service lol i can see it now (RIPSAW TOWING) :p

  • Why would you take one of the most bad ass toys ever built and make it remote control. It may be good for military use but I want to drive the damn thing! Mass produce it and make billions. People would line up to trade in there jeeps for RIPSAW! Should have left the POS hummer there.

  • Damn, I want one of those,, How much?

  • Over 9000!!!

  • whatever that thing is its sweet, the music sucks though

  • i know it might be hard for someone like you, but there is actually a button where you can turn the sound of. atleast try. and others might like this music, everyone doesnt like bubbles as you do.

    Last word.

  • Yeah what the fuck why is it remote control?! God damn last time i saw a rip-saw, a person was operating it. WHY REMOTE CONTROL?!

  • There's a few different versions, calm the fuck down.

  • is it rc?
