radiohead is without the need for comparison and is within itself one of the greatest non-metal rock bands I have ever had the pleasure to have listened to. on a less personal note though I might add that radiohead is simply one of those cases where they have that sound that rings somewhere deep in the mind almost as though you knew it before you heard it. this song particularly I found to be quite the masterpiece.

The main character in the video, Robin, was an existing creation of his, and he did quite a few short cartoons with him in various escapdes; if you do a search for "Robin" & "Magnus Carlsson" on YouTube, you'll see some of them. I guess the band saw & liked the cartoons, and hired him for the video.

In that circumstance, for me was like a turning point which made me start questioning my thoughts and feelings. Just seeing and experiencing things and questioning yourself is not something which a christian does (I was a seventh day adventist). I'm sure you can sort of know what i mean on some level?

I don’t know about all the symbolism, but the music has sad undertones, but then toward the end it gets harmonious. Maybe you have to force yourself to change, we all know life isn’t a game and you have to be serious about it, yet being too serious brings you even more misery. This describes the kinda feelings I had when I started questioning myself and left religion behind me. You only get one guaranteed life I don’t want to waste mine following bullshit guidelines and lies.
