It was the Sweet 16. UConn went on to face North Carolina in the quarterfinals and lost. UNC went to the final four and lost to Utah.

Kentucky won it all in 1998. UConn won it all in 1999. This video is from the 98 season.

Only because Carolina had essentially a home game in Greensboro. I couldn't even hear myself or other UConn fans cheering at that Elite 8 game. It's such crap that Dook and UNC are almost always given such a crowd advantage at some point in the tourney.
