  • You have the choice to change. He knows that you won't

  • @Ilnahuang94 1.free will yes, but under extreme duress of eternal torture for not believing. 2. Animals Do know right from wrong. When you train your dog to poop outside, it doesn't. When it does, it knows it did wrong. How does a dog know when you are angry. How does it learn verbal commands. Humans aren't as smart as you think they are.

  • Theists can't/won't think outside the box because they fear the repercussions of questioning their Bibblit. So even thinking about thinking outside the box is enough to keep them self-medicated with the placebo of religion. Besides, why would they wanna think outside the box when their Imaginary Skyman wrapped it up so nicely, and with a card that reads "Do Not Open 'Till EVER! (Or unless you're smart enough to know it's a box full of lies.)"

  • @metalsusa1 I can't even think of a comeback, DAMN

  • Any adult that believes in a "God" should be in an insane asylum.

  • Can you surprise God? Is there anything you could do or think outside the awareness of God?

If the answer is no then you have no free will in the eyes of a God who will blame you and hold you responsible for "crimes" he knew you would commit.

God will allow you to suffer in hell forever for "sins" he knew you would commit while simultaneously knowing the outcome before the begining.

    There is no honest rebuttal.

  • @metalsusa1 CONTINUED you are there and forgiving them. I hope i'm answering some of your questions and hopefully some distortions people have of christianity. feel free to ask any more :) and i'm glad if you have taken the time to read these and are genuinely curious. if all you want to do is argue though, please that's not what i'm here for. i just want to discuss your ideas :)

  • @metalsusa1 CONTINUED we know there's something wrong with the world only becuase we have a sense of what the world should be like: where people love each other, don't cheat, don't steal, aren't greedy, don't say mean things. and to be honest, we've all had moments where we are not perfectly good. finally, and no we DO NOT have to beg God for forgiveness. He is freely offering us forgiveness as long as we accept it. it's like how can someone accept your forgiveness if they don't even acknowledge

  • @metalsusa1 CONTINUED...sorry haha it didn't fit.

so God created to love him and have a loving relationship with him. in order for us to truly love him, he gave us free will to disobey him, becuase what's love if we're just like robots, forced to love God and be controled by him. We chose to disobey, and ever since the world has been corrupted, messed up. i think we all have a sense of right and wrong, and that differentiates us from animals. who decided that conscience and law?

  • @metalsusa1 haha it sounds funny when you say it that way. but i think you have a different perception than what the Bible is actually about. God is perfectly good, a perfect judge. In order to be a perfect judge and to be perfectly fair, he cannot let things done wrong go unpunished. think of it as our court system but taken to infinity or perfection.

  • @metalsusa1 hahah i see how you'd be upset w/Christians who often are hypocrites, but the whole point of christianity is sin, which has created a messed up world. we don't love each other as we should; there's so much bad news on television. people start seeing christianity as a religion instead of a way of life and a relationship with God and become corrupt. many people also believe with blind faith, which instead should be backed with reason as well. i'm not perfect but neither is anybody,

  • Haha sorry I ran out of room, but i'm curious on your thoughts on what I just said. I also am curious on what makes you so against christian beliefs. please view my comments, what I said, with an open mind. Not believing in God is a set of beliefs just as Christianity is as well.

  • @metalsusa1 thanks for your opinions :) i can see what you're saying, but most non-christians do beleive that Jesus was a real person. the difference between muslims and christians dying for their beliefs is that the original 12 disciples witnessed the events and were not basing their beliefs on a single dream. in fact, throughout the Bible, they at first extremely doubt who Jesus was until they had enough proof. Paul, in Romans uses great reasoning skills that lawyers still refer to today.

  • Christianity is absolute barbaric nonsense manufactured by the frightened, the ignorant, and the superstitious. Think of the people living in Afghanistan. Illiterate, backwards, choking in ancient dogma. These are the same kind of people that wrote the bible.

All life on earth evolved through a process of genetic adaptive change. If a particular trait allowed an organism to survive, it was passed on to the next generation. This occurred over long unimaginable lengths of time.

  • What is really funny is that the editor here makes completely untrue statements and the moves on as if they are true. And your argument against the "fundie" isn't even real. My 5 year could explain that to you. Get facts first dude. And the Bible isn't a science book...

  • God holds us responsible for sins he knew we would commit before he created us, then sends his son to die to save us from a punishment he first implemented to begin with. Then he expects us to beg for forgiveness for those very sins he knew we would commit in order to keep us out of a hell he created. W.T.F.?

  • @metalsusa1 Let me know when this makes sense to you, because I don't quite understand a theist's logic.

  • @Cerulean0987 Emotionally charged baseless assertions with faulty logic and a misinformed population is all you need to know about a theists conclusions.

FACT: There has never been one instances where the theory of evolution has been falsified since Darwin discovered it's mechanism- natural selection.

Creationists use faulty logic, quote mining, intentional misrepresentation of the facts (lies), and generally have no understanding of what science says about evolution.

    These are the facts.

  • @metalsusa1 I must admit that I (we), as atheists, quote mine as well. How many times do we resort to using Leviticus' verses to show them how faulty their arguments are in regards to their use of the same chapter to support their bigotry toward the LGBT community? I think that they are naturally prone to quote mining as that is what they do in regard to the Bible; it is in their nature. But I agree with most of what you said.

  • @Cerulean0987 Thank you.

  • @metalsusa1 He knows what will happen but the reason he does those things is because he want YOU to expierence them.

  • @EliminatorReviews That's an interesting answer. So he knows people he created are going to burn forever before he creates them, but he creates them anyway and as a result of their actions/beliefs holds them responsible for their eternal torture.

You realize this is beyond unfair.

  • ... when the bible mentions things about earth hanging on nothing we today can make the conection that its talking about space ... things like that...

  • i believe in God more than i dont but im very open minded to ppls thoughts and feelings on this subject. i like this vid alot. especially what was said at the end.

  • At 1:20 you say there is no mention of any complicated explination of stars or other planets ... you must remember that most of the bible was writen around 2000 years ago .. would any one have understod that the moon was a reflector or little glowing points in the sky giant suns billions of light years away ... yes God could have made people write it down but for what point ... if the bible was that complicated then not every one could read it and understand...well no one in those days.

  • @kiwi21boy ppl dont understand the bible now so whats the difference.

  • There are many "authorized" versions of the Bible. Many of these are at odds and are not equal in weight of content. Despite the reasonableness of an effect of apostate, disparate authorizers over time, much unity of the conveyed message remains in all but the most modern versions. True? I submit Scripture be uncensored and allowed to stand or fail upon the merit or lack thereof contained. As Obama says, many have not been reading their bibles. Subject yourself to the same scrutiny. Afraid, yes?

  • I am finding it hard to believe god is real, because there are 3 other large religions which shows that mass humanity has potential to believe untrue things. Im so unsure

  • And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day

And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

and this was the forth day . how it can be that on Sunday was night and day and only on Wednesday the sun and moon have been created , I see that the bible is not the word of God , its a human job , and the story of Jesus is a lusiferian job.

  • no the bible in our hand is not the bible yjat revealed by god to jesus because the bible of today is a biography of jesus written after jesus gone, so where is the real bible , i mean the bible that jesus tell during his life

  • Actually Christianity stands out as a religion. There are so many more followers bc the gospels when they were written were historical works, written by eye witnesses. Jesus was a real person an he really did die on the cross. His body was truly missing and the disciples as well as 500 more claimed to have seen Jesus. Even non Christians admit the body was missing. Why would the disciples have motivation to make the whole story up? To get persecuted, crucified themselves, burned alive? What abo

  • @linahuang94 Actually the first gospel is dated FROM 30 to 40 years after the death of Jesus. Eyewitnesses?

The 500 witnesses who saw Jesus ascend, who were they, what are their names, why should anyone accept a nameless, faceless number? Josephus claims in the Antiquities of the Jews that Jesus really existed, but Josephus wasn't even alive during his life (BORN: 37 A.D.)

Muslims die for Mohammad everyday, is that evidence for their claims the Koran is true?

  • @linahuang94 1 Chronicles 16:3030 Tremble before him, all the earth! The world is firmly established; it cannot be moved.

this is just one verse out of 100 errore...it show bible is not the word of Go as god word cannt contant errore

  • @linahuang94 There is no proof that Jesus ever lived. No one who lived during his lifetime wrote anything about him. The first century is one of the best documented times in human history, and there is no mention of him.

  • Love how he uses a verse from the Satanic Bible at 4:36 haha

  • ...done a complete 180 degree turn and now lives a peaceful, purposeful life that no longer uses nor abuses those vices that once destroyed them and does NOT attribute that change to Jesus Christ. I bet if you set out on a mission to disprove God you would find yourself surprised; in fact I dare you or anyone like you to do this. You can start your scientific study by watching on google video a documentary entitled "startling proofs: does God really exist?" Good luck friend and may God bless yo

  • @nater0077

It is impossible to disprove God, because fantasy can not be disproven. That's why so many of you Jesus-fans feel so sure about your ideas and dogmas. You believe, that you know it all and strut around confidently pouring your self-righteous piety over the rest of the world.

I dare you or anyone like you to try and disprove magic as described in "Harry Potter" and that the author Mrs. Rowling was not "inspired" to write her famous series of "scriptures" about it.

  • @nater0077

That proves that psychology and brain washing work, but not that god exists as described in the holy book of BS.

There is no proof for anything "supernatural" and the book is not even recommendable for children due to its gory tales of god killing people in masses.

  • ...If it was a big "lie" people wouldn't have gone to their deaths proclaiming it's truth; as many did early on and even till this day. Not pretty deaths either. They were brutally tortured and eventually killed. Anyone trying to "lie" wouldn't have let this happen to them. Also; show me one person who has totally hit rock bottom (such as alcohol abusers, drug addicts, etc) and has done a complete 180 degree turn and now lives a peaceful, purposeful life that no longer uses nor abuses those vic

  • @nater0077

You have as many muslimic "martires" as christian ones. They all die for their idea of the "absolute truth". Naturally that does not prove a bit that what they believe in was true. All it does prove is, that fanatism exists.

In many cases, the believe in an invisible all-powerful friend has helped people to survive. But that again just proves, that psychology works and not, that the invisible friend really does exist.

  • @flamifer1 Its like staring into a blank screen, because there are no facts to substantiate any concepts for a man named God, the whole argument is redundant' and questions anyones inteligence within knowing anything which cannot be construaled and actually known' even the good book points this out in certain exemplifications. Today the internet absolutely brings this out into the open verses persons actually confronting anyone for any mere belief.

  • @DrFruedienslip

Exactly my point. It is completely irrelevant if God exists if He or She or it does not react in any way to our behaviour. Science has made it clear enough, that every event has a natural cause and consequence. One could see these as God's acts, but it will still make no difference.

If there is any force in the universe that has ever helped people to improve their lives, then it was the KNOWLEDGE about HOW to do it and nothing else.

  • @flamifer1 I see what you mean, and I feel that persons like Einstien weremaking thatsame statement whileattempting todefine quantum mechanics, which would have everything to do within defining any and all physical truths which would then become any mainstay within any actual physical intelligence which all would know, and there would be no latitide for any argument which would then becomes any mainstay within any sight for any educational merit. This becomes any manner within any self eurdition

  • @nater0077

I have a question for you, that you will refuse to answer. You will be squirming around, deliberately misunderstand it, accuse me of playing with words, change the subject and finally become angry and call me an idiot. But you will rather rip out your tongue than to answer it, because it will destroy your faith:

Do we have control over the causes of our decisions?

Go ahead and try to explain why. A simple "yes" won't do.

  • Unfortunately this argument is juvenile and porous at best. If you actually conducted an unbiased scientific review you would find that the bible is in fact infallible. Many atheists have done this and are now doubtless Christians. If Christianity was a big "lie" then it wouldn't have made it 50 years. In fact the governing nations of Israel and Rome tried to kill off any early Christian movement. Yet it survived. If it was a big "lie" people wouldn't have gone to their deaths proclaiming it's

  • @nater0077

    >> that the bible is in fact infallible. Many atheists have done this and are now doubtless Christians

Yes, that shows how loose your contact to reality is, my friend.

Most parts of the bible are "infallible" because the book is extremely vague when it comes to facts and carefully avoids clear explanations. But where it actually does, it perfectly reflects bronce age ignorance:

The earth does not move and rests on pillars, the moon is a light, witches are not suffered to live.

  • "The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches ... born to those who have thrice defied him, born as the seventh month dies ... and the Dark Lord will mark him as his equal, but he will have power the Dark Lord knows not ... and either must die at the hand of the other for neither can live while the other survives ... the one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord will be born as the seventh month dies ..."

—Prophecy made to Albus Dumbledore by Sybill Trelawney

  • In the last days scoffers will come....

  • @julieification

In the last days of the belief, that the earth is flat? That there was a god creating people in such a way, that some of them will go bad, because He made them so and then He can send them to hell? What's the point?

God gave us "free will" to do what? Exactly what He programmed us to do? What kind of logic is that? Where is the freedom? And the best part is, where God creates some kind of a version of Himself and gets him(self?) killed to save mankind from - His own wrath? Wow!

  • When the European world was set free from the dark ages imposed by the catholic church, man began to explore the world. The Bible says the earth is suspended on nothing. How did the writer (Isaiah) know this? There are NO superstitious sayings in the Bible. There are shells on Mt Everest. Why? "He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth. How did Isaiah know the earth is a circle (sphere)?Jews had better health due to the Levitical laws. The rest of the pagans were infested with parasites.

  • @julieification

Isaiah 40:22: "..enthroned above the circle of the earth"

In the ancient world, when everyone believed, that the earth was flat, Isaiah would have wanted to express it very clearly if he meant to describe the shape of the earth as a sphere. He then surely would have used the word "rwd" (as he did in Isaiah 22:18 "He will roll you up tightly like a ball") instead of "chuwg", the word for "circle". He also would have added some more information regarding this revolutionary idea.

  • @julieification

    >> The Bible says the earth is suspended on nothing. How did the writer (Isaiah) know this?

I suppose, he simply guessed that if there is nothing above, then there is nothing beneath the "circle of the world" either. The bible also states, that the earth rests on pillars, has corners and edges.

Psalm 93:1: “Thou hast fixed the earth immovable and firm ...”

Ecclesiastes 1:5: "The sun rises, and the sun goes down, and hastens to the place where it rises."

    No, they did not know.

  • @julieification

    >> There are NO superstitious sayings in the Bible.

That's true. But there is the believe in "original sin", the creation of man out of dust, a talking snake, a 900+ year old Noah, a global flood, the order that we should not "suffer a witch to live", that women had to obey their husbands, that homosexual people should be put to death, that Jonah survived 3 days in the belly of a fish, etc, etc, etc... plus the myth that god gave us "free will".

  • @flamifer1 Are you saying you are not exercising your free will to mock God and His Word?

  • @julieification

Yes, I am saying, that "free will" does not exist and that your idea of "God" is a joke.

I have a question for you, that you will refuse to answer. You will be squirming around, deliberately misunderstand it, accuse me of playing with words, change the subject and finally become angry and call me an idiot. But you will rather rip out your tongue than to answer it, because it will destroy your faith:

Do you have control over the causes of your decisions?

  • @flamifer1 I would only squirm if I was trying to defend a lie. I would accuse you of playing with words if you were lying but pretending not to. There is nothing you could say which could "destroy" my faith. The "mystery of iniquity" is the universal sin which dwelt in the hearts of mankind. I DO have a choice to sin. You & I, like Adam & Eve, can choose to obey God. They, like you & I, were allowed to sin. There was no fence around the tree in the MIDDLE of the garden.

  • @julieification

    >> The "mystery of iniquity" is the universal sin which dwelt in the hearts of mankind.

Now that you have admitted, that your nice "philosophy" tries to make us responsible for what we are born, I am asking you again:

Do we have control over the factors that cause our decisions?

Last time you were ignoring my question. How are you going to try and avoid to answer it this time?

Are you going to change the subject or will you simply call it a "stupid" question?

  • @flamifer1 Are you denying there is universal sin? Have you raised chidren? Even very young children will try to have their own way. "Don't touch the electrical socket," I said to my toddler. She hesitated, then went up and touched it." David said we are born in iniquity. We inherited a sin nature from the first couple. Sin has ravaged the world since. Why do atheists always think they are so wise & that anyone who disagrees with them is a conartist trying to change the subject?

  • @julieification

    >> Even very young children will try to have their own way.

What you call "iniquity" is a very necessary and healthy behaviour. I should be very worried, if my child blindly followed every given order. God should not have been able to CONVINCE Adam & Eve not to eat from the forbidden fruits? Instead of warning them he even advertised the fruits with his talking snake salesman.

And I am asking you for the 3rd time: Do we have control over the factors that cause our decisions?

  • @flamifer1 You think it was good that my daughter chose to disobey me and touched an electrical outlet. I say it is not good but that she, like all humans, wants her own way. Being obedient to parents when given instructions to adhere to safe behavior is a good thing. Being obedient when being told to do evil is not good. You are not a parent. And if you are...Anyway, blaming God for our sins is stupid.

  • @julieification

If you Jesus-fans would, instead of ruminating the mantras of your doctrine over and over again, for once take a book about the most basic rules of psychology in your hands and read it, you might find out, why it is normal and healthy human behaviour not to blindly obey whoever.

    >> blaming God for our sins is stupid

Yes it is. Because God is obviously not what you think it is.

If you think, that the theory of evolution is bad for your religion, try psychology.

  • @julieification

Do we have control over the factors that cause our decisions?

By now it is quite obvious, that you have decided not even to try and answer the question. If you did, you would feel like a kid finding out that Santa Claus does not exist and that your whole life was built on an image of wishful thinking and self-deception. You probably have been conditioned to believe it from childhood on.

God? Knowledge is the only thing in the world that fulfills the qualities adhered to it.

  • @flamifer1 Hmm...I couldn't reply to you because the computer wouldn't let me last nite. I have been conditioned to believe in God? Are you serious?!! Any imbecile should at least know there is a creator. Can you create a watch that doesn't even work from nothing? One that works? Can you create an engine that works or that even doesn't from nothing? "He who says there is no God is a fool." God

  • @julieification

    >> Any imbecile should at least know there is a creator

It is irrelevant, if a god created the universe because it does not effect us. What does effect us, is the knowledge, that the world was NOT created as described in the bible. That the primitive morale codex perfectly reflects bronze age superstition and was NOT written by a god. God can only be made visible by observation and experiment, not by dreaming up things.

"He who says there is no magic is a fool" Harry Potter

  • @julieification

Do we have control over the factors that cause our decisions?

We are all products of our environment.

We are born with a certain set of DNA. We are being conditioned by our parents.

We gain knowledge by learning and experience.

All our decisions are based on that. All of them.

You can't choose what you think is the best solution, because there is only one.

    So much for "free will".

You know it, and you have to deny this truth it in order to keep up your faith.

  • @flamifer1 Your reasoning is as sensible as a criminal standing before a judge and saying, "I have been around people who have murdered so I had to as well." God said He has written His laws on man's heart. This means most societies outlaw murder, theft, rape, etc. If God's laws weren't at least somewhat in man's heart no one could live on this earth. In other words, man has a conscience (some have lost it completely and commit heinous crimes without guiilt).

  • @julieification

You are (deliberately?) missing the point. The point is, that we always do what we think is best for us at the moment we do it. To understand this, it is completely irrelevant, if that action really is smart or not. If you recognise a best option, you will not go for the second best one. Never! So how much "free will" does that give you?

    >> part 2

  • @julieification - pt2

    >> God said

Yes and He also said that the earth was flat with the sun going around it, that slavery was acceptable and that we had to kill witches and homosexuals. Bronze age man said that, not God.

If we will ever defeat crime, we need to find the causes. Praying for a better world or judging people is not going to change anything. The most basic education in psychology in schools could already achieve, what 2,000 years of christianity could not. God is knowledge.

  • @flamifer1 I will not argue with a person who insists on believing the Bible says things it doesn't. You are free to choose whom you will serve. It is not my job to convince you unless you were seriously searching for God and wanted to consider what Scripture says. You have made up your mind. You have created your "god" and you may have it.

  • @julieification

    >> who insists on believing the Bible says things it doesn't.

Doesn't it? I can state the exact chapter and verse of every single bible statement I have mentioned before, from the earth described as a circle to "not to suffer a witch to live". And unlike "fulfilled" bible prophesies these statements are very clear and not taken out of the context. There is no evidence to support the idea, that the people who produced the scriptures were inspired by a "higher being".

    >> part 2

  • @flamifer1 Go ahead. Flat earth. Oh yes, you want to call the "circle of the earth" a flat circle. Says who? And while pagans believed the earth was being held up on the back of a turtle or some other nonsense, the Scripture in Psalms says God hangs the earth on nothing. Any other superstitions you think are in the Bible?

  • @julieification - Correction

The word for sphere or ball is "ruwd" or "rwd" instead of "ruwd".

    Sorry, my mistake.

  • @julieification - pt2

You do not want to "argue" with me, because you know, that I am telling you the truth and what I am saying is seriously threatening your believe in a strong invisible father-figure. You can go on denying and ignoring the facts, but you will have to do it in the future with the knowledge, that you are deliberately and willfully doing it and that you have to avoid certain questions. Or you can embrace God and see it as what it really is. Only knowledge can set you free.

  • @julieification

God is not a loving father figure or a bloodthursty tyrant. Both is an illustion created by wishful thinking from a time, when people believed in witchcraft and dragons. God is about as loving as chemical reactions trigger electro-magnetic impulses in our brains. He is about as cruel as gravity can be to a falling body. God does not feel - it is just truth, information, data - nothing more.

With knowledge (=god) everything gets better, without it we are in hell. It's simple.

  • @flamifer1 You have created god in your own image. The God of the Universe is both caring and feeling. He notices even when a sparrow falls and much more when his children do. He died and felt every scourging and nail.

  • @julieification

    >> The God of the Universe is both caring and feeling

You want to believe this so much, that you will deliberately ignore logical inconsistencies of this believing system. And therefore you are not answering my question:

Do we have control over the causes of our decisions?

    >> felt every scourging and nail

Yes a true sado-masochist. Remember: A god can decide to feel pain or not. All that to "save" us from the hell He created Himself for being disobedient. What a pervert tyrant!

  • @julieification

According to science the Himalayas were formed around 70 million years ago, when the Indo-Australian Plate collided with the Eurasian Plate. There are shells on Mount Everest and many other mountains in the world, because the land was under water before the collision. In case you believe that the biblical flood really took place you will have to answer two questions:

1.) How could a global flood put fossils in a specific order?

2.) How did the kangaroos get back to Australia?

  • >> Jews had better health due to the Levitical laws.

Yes, he unknowingly promoted hygiene linking physical cleanness to moral holiness. But:

Leviticus 20:27 "A man also or woman that hath a familiar spirit, or that is a wizard, shall surely be put to death: they shall stone them with stones: their blood shall be upon them."

Leviticus 15:19-30: Anyone who touches something that a woman having her period previously touched is unclean, but this uncleanliness can be resolved by killing two doves.

Wow!

  • Good video.

  • Lol Christianity got bitched slped

  • im not starting a fight but jesus was real they found the shroud of turin did tests on it they thought it was a painting and tried to replicate it failing miserbly i guess theres always gonna be critics and athiests pretty much people dont discuss religion with people on youtube i know you want to but really dont people are stupid

  • Jesus told many people the truth he was saying things others did not understand because he was saying things from the bible christian say god and the bible should not be changed it should be as it was first made if they feel that way then it should be in Hebrew if they can't read or speak Hebrew then learn it you are already trying to learn something about a god you can't see the only way to fully understand god is to speak his language then you will see the bible the way he seen it in his mind

  • @sutibun21 but there so many different bibles now you don't know whats true and wants not true you know what is true they use the bible to controls people faith but that's not what god made it for humans took something good and use it for evil powerful people use the bible to make money and control people that believe in god point is there's only 1 bible god gave Jesus the information and then he told people about it seeing how they were controlled by it rich & powerful wanted the knowledge

  • @sutibun21

God decides to play human and makes himself born by a virgin. Then He walks around preaching to be good and performing a little miracle here and there. Then He provokes the established priesthood into having him tortured and killed sacrificing himself for us in order to save us from His own wrath.

Did god really need to have himself nailed to a cross in order to convince himself not to send so many people to hell and eternal torture? And what's the idea with those petty miracles?

  • Any intelligent thinking person with a background in science would look at this video and just say......."THIS IS STUPID!" There are so many problems with this video and arguments..ITS A SHAME!

  • @soulsearch1234 oh really now, tell me how talking snakes, walking on water, pushing water aside with a stick, and a giant being who dictates everything but doesnt help the world one damn bit is logical

  • @waniaksk8z YOUR IDEA OF LOGIC WILL ONLY FOLLOW YOUR LINE OF THINKING. It is also clear that your interpretation of the bible leads to your own conclusions and your obviously limited exposure to the word is heavily influenced by religion and not the bible. Man make their own decisions. God does not RUN the world. Those who choose to follow him, they will inherit the new earth that will be perfect.

  • @soulsearch1234 you did not reply to me in any way that would prove your ideas, ou literally just told me that because you beleive in god you will inherit the earth, ill put it in a question form, how do those stories make sense, thats straight up retarded, i dont beleive in anything that i will never know for sure exists, like the big bang and god, you can study them, but its stupid to blindly follow something that doesnt prove itself to you

  • >> Man make their own decisions.

Does he? According to your religion: Who created mankind the way we are? Who created the environment you were born in and all events that happen to us? What do you think, all your "free will" decisions are based on?

    >> God does NOT run the world?

What is the omnipotent, omniscient being doing then? Lean back an enjoy the show? Either way, HE would be fully responsible for its creation and therefore for all our actions. God is KNOWLEDGE nothing more or less.

  • If jesus knew about this video he'd punch you in the face!

  • So is the bible science fiction?

  • Im going to pray for you.wow.God spoke to me. And said the bible is the way the light and the truth

  • why are you using foul language in this video. . . ?

  • Was this supposed to be clever?

God's ways are above our ways. Now if YOU were God, you would have done things differently, but you aren't. God wants us to have faith (for whatever reason, but that's just what He wants), so that is why He didn't put all kinds of things in the Bible to make it obvious that He exists.

  • @omgbygollywow .. come on! and you know the mind of you god? and your god(s) wants us to have faith.. in... what exactly? faith that he (o invisible one) actually exists?

  • you amuse me.... i hope to see you on judgement day. kneeling, begging for forgiveness

  • @nathanballentyne There wont be a judgement day.

  • @Sweddude I'll see you too i guess... i'm not gonna try and prove to you that there is, cause obviously your mind is made up.. so all i can really say is just wait and see.....

  • @nathanballentyne You dont even have any evidencee to back up your claim.

Unless you can supply some evidence for your statements its just empty words and threats.

As they say: Either put up or shut up.

  • @Sweddude ... My sincerest apologies I didn't realize you couldn't read.. I said there is no convincing you, your mind is made up.. no matter how much truth i would try to shove at you, it wouldn't matter.. and i'm not saying it as a threat.. i'm saying it cause thats whats gonna happen.. if i was threatening i would be like, your gonna burn in hell and i'm gonna laugh while you do.. which i wont. cause i genuinely do feel sorry for you, but its your choice

  • @nathanballentyne Nnnnooo, my mind is not made up, if i was presented with some solid credible evidence then i would convert right on the spot... then when i go to heaven i would ask god why he was being such a dick in the old testament.

  • @Sweddude trust me you wouldn't... because you are presented with evidence every second of everyday.. everything around you speaks to there being a all powerful creator, but your mind and heart is hardened so you look for science to disprove it, or an excuse.. so no, i'm sorry but you wont change your mind, at least not from youtube comments ... and God wasn't a dick, people were dicks, and he was just being just

  • @nathanballentyne Then you have a twisted wiev of being just.

Did he not order abe to murder his son and stoped him just in time? what did that do to affect the sons mental state? did he not let a guy win a war in exgange for the life of his daughter? did he not turn a survivor of sodom and gammora's wife into a pillar of sand because he looked behind her?

And you have a weak standard for evidence, i can just as well say everything around us is evidence for Allah or the spaggethi monster.

  • @Sweddude you know what... your right, I've always thought the spaghetti monster was the real true power in the universe... thank you for shedding the light on that for me. i'm going to sell everything I own, and devote myeself to the almighty pasta king

  • @nathanballentyne Strangely that is what your beloved Jesus wants yuou to do, so go and sell all your bellongings and serve the poor.

I know i have served the poor by organising a charrity even where we bought cans of food for the homeless and poor and cooked them warm meals for a day, but then again im a bad person who deserves eternal torment.

  • @Sweddude now your starting to catch on!.. it has nothing to do with anything we do, we can't work out way into heaven by being good people... its only because God came to earth and did all the work of redeeming us that we have the chance, not cause we might do some good things

  • @nathanballentyne Another proof that your god is twisted.

So i deserve to be punished even tough i constantly strive to help the world and everyone in it? should i be punished eternaly when i spend 6 days a week with helping the sick, injured and crippeled to get a better life quality? should i be punished when i use every asset i got to help those less fortunate? should i be punished when i use my free time to teach under-privilidged kids to read? We should be judged on our actions.

  • @Sweddude finally, your getting it... you can do all that, and it won't matter if you don't have God in your life. you can be the "best" person in the world.. according to the world but without God, your still going to hell. its "only" through God that you can have any hope at an eternity in heaven.. and i'm not saying you can just believe in God, then go around murdering, when someone gives their life to God, the byproduct is a changed person, one who is driven to do things like you mentioned

  • @Sweddude helping others ect. but only with God is it worht anything in the eternal scheme of things

  • @nathanballentyne Then your god is immoral, sadistic and selfish, wich has ben demonstrated several times in the bible and now also by your responses.

Go and stone your child when its dissobedient or just murder a witch, jesus said he came to upphold the old laws.

Matt 5:17. why dont you read that and then go and kill me next time i work on the sabbath? because i will.

  • @Sweddude well i'll need your adress if i'm to find you and kill you

  • @nathanballentyne HoooH? not even going to try and weasel yourself out of that predicament?

  • @Sweddude haha, i really don't care to be honest... I got the truth down, and i'm happy... and there are plenty of people out there who are willing to give it at least a chance, so i focus my time on them.. i just had some free time and was bored....

  • @Sweddude, if you would study Bible carefully you would know that God warned that punishment for sin is death, when He was about to destroy sodom and gomorrah he said to Abraham that he will spare them if there will be ten righteous people in those cities, and there weren't any. God was giving people chance after chance but they were too wicked to change. It's not like He was killing everyone who sinned, but those who were very very wicked. You have to read everything in context and carefully.

  • @Sweddude People nowadays are probably even more wicked, but Christ's sacrifice is like an ULTIMATE CHANCE that God gave to us and you can choose what you will do with this free GIFT before you die.

  • @Sweddude oh and btw. after Christ's death we are only under moral laws, lots of laws in Old Testament were for people of that time, because there were no salvation for them, laws were only for those people so if they were obeying them they were clean before God.

  • @woodozis Do you remember those who was *saved* from sodom and gommora? what did god do to the wife that looked behind her?

Also, the fate of jesus was no sacrifice, it was god sacrificing himself, to himself to create a loophole for the lawas he created.

  • @Sweddude i remember, but what he said before she looked back? “Flee for your lives! Don’t look back, and don’t stop anywhere in the plain! Flee to the mountains or you will be swept away!” but she looked back, she didn't trust in what God said. Loophole? Christ was/is God but He decided to step into the world as a human, to save us from the curse of sin there had to be sacrificed human without sin, a PERFECT SACRIFICE, thats why he was born of a vrigin, to not inherit the sin nature.

  • @woodozis So you are honestly lind enough to not see the hypocracy of it all? It aint a sacrifice at all.

  • @Sweddude Dude, Christ suffered the same way you would suffer in his place, seeing the mess of this world and how wicked people are I would swept away everything if I were God, I wouldn't sacrifice myself like GOD did. This is sacrifice and I just don't have a pride to reject that gift.

  • @woodozis Oh yeah? If i where god i would do a crapload better job at this world.

And being tortured for a few days, geting nailed to some wood and die and you where guarantied an end to world suffering? i would do it, if that where all there was to it then i would consider it a sacrifice, if i got to know i would be god after that? i would easily do it and it wouldnt even be a sacrifice.

  • @Sweddude by better job you mean world without suffering, pain and disease? God created that at the beginning and said it was very good, and He gave free will so people haven't had to be puppets, and what have they done ? Disobeyed one little command from God ‘You must not eat it or even touch it; if you do, you will die.’”. God wants people to love Him as a choice not from being programmed to love Him, but we let our free will be driven by pride, that tells us we are ok without God's rules.

  • @woodozis Ah yes, the good ol god is omniscient and knows every single even long before they even happened and yet we still somehow have free will despite the fact god already know how everything will play out.

Its quite clear that the god od the bible is NOT all knowing because of free will.

And how where adam and eve suposed to know it was wrong to dissobey god? they didnt know good from evil.

  • @Sweddude Knowing does not mean determining, though clearly God does determine some things. For example, he determined that we would have the freedom to choose.

What they did not have is experiential knowledge of good and evil. They had God's commandment to not eat from the tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. Once they ate from it they had both the command and the experience of knowing the difference between good and evil. We could say they had an abstract knowledge before.

  • You would make better sense if you used better grammar.

Almost everyone thinks he can do a better job of running the world than God. More than a few have tried. How's it working, do you suppose?Respond to this video...

  • And Christ haven't only died for our sins, he showed us how to live, and he didn't say that following Him will be easy, actually it's opposite, because His ways were 180 degrees different than ways of this world where people are guided by their selfish desires and temporary pleasures.

  • @nathanballentyne I love this choice thing.. what are we choosing? which one of the faithful of the true religion are you? Sweddude can read.. you can't reason.. and for that we all feel sorry for you.

  • @nathanballentyne to which god(s) was that? we got the muslims saying the same thing.. begging for having done what exactly? actually you are the amusing one.. you, like countless other, have a real or true understanding of the supernatural and only you, like countless others of the real true faith(s), say we are all condemned by your particular god(s) if we don't bow down and .. what was it? pray, believe.. whatever.. and you don't see the idiocy of all of that? you are amusing...

  • A true prediction predicts the future and does not confirm the past. All of these examples are ex post facto. Give me a real prediction for the future from the Bible and let`s wait for it to come true.

By the way, I predict that if the sun rises tomorrow, it is absolute proof that the Bible is wrong. I also predicted that I was born in Canada. And, I was born in Canada, so I must be a true prophet.

    Is my point being taken?

  • Genesis 1:14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

Genesis 1:19 And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

-'God' created days on the 4th day

  • So Adam and Eve had two sons and somehow created the entire human race. Wtf. It's all bullshit...

  • Haha, why is God Australian?

  • Yes, let's read the Bible. That's my conclutionb

  • this is equally sad and funny....i mean no disrespect to you, but in truth this video is the definition of living in darkness. I do hope you continue reading the scriptures and trust the veil will be lifted unto you brother.

  • @kidnikky23 I mean no disrespect to you, but you should ask yourself why countless studies show that both intelligent people and more educated people are less likely to be religious. Not only that, a recent study showed that the group of people who had the most knowledge of the bible were atheists, followed by agnostics. Meaning christians know less about the bible than people who don't even follow it. (google: "ny times bible knowledge" to read about that study)

  • @vicksoma Its funny about that study, they interview what, 2000 people and they draw a conclusion from that. There are just as many intelligent Christians as Atheists.More and more scientists are becoming believers, because science is now starting to prove that the fine tuning of our universe could not have happened by accident.Yes most atheist have read ther Bibles with there minds, and not there hearts. If you read the Bible LOOKING for contradictions, you will find then. God Bless You

  • @Ronniecob40 biologists, in a study in 2005 93% did not believe in a god.so get over your imature rants and grow up in this wonderful universe, stop spouting lies do not collect 200,go straight to the jail of retards.or show me your imaginary friend, you could be the first to turn all us atheists into god fearing folk. come on, make my day punk. imagine all that fame. prove us all wrong,. a historic reply? cant wait for this little nugget of reason.

  • @kram83au Actually, there are more then you think, quite a few are afraid to admit it out of fear of being ostracized and ridiculed by there atheist counterparts. Geez, wonder why they would think that?

Everyone, according to a leading scientist, is born believing in God, only have circumstances happen in there life to they harden their hearts to Jesus. God Bless You

    telegraph. co.uk/news/religion/3512686/Children-are-born-believers-in-God-academic-claims.html

  • @Ronniecob40

"Everyone, according to a leading scientist, is born believing in God"

    BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

That's the most friggin' ridiculous comment I have ever read on Youtube, And that is really saying something! That is bullshit, and you know it. Who is this scientist? What experiment did he perform - did he interview a bunch of newborns? You are amazingly stupid and deluded.

  • @1ProudFemaleAtheist Here you go..

    telegraph. co.uk/news/religion/3512686/Children-are-born-believers-in-God-academic-claims.html

  • @Ronniecob40

Read it - and the responses, many of which mirrored my own. Absolutely ridiculous. The "experiments" he conducted were anything but science, and what they "showed" him was nothing more than natural childlike wonder at the world and how things act and interact. NONE OF THIS MEANS A BELIEF IN GOD. This guy is a JOKE for even stating that. God must be"taught" and that is basic common knowledge.

  • @1ProudFemaleAtheist Wellhe is a scientist.

I would be willing to bet there was a time in your life that you believed in God. People are not born atheists.

Here is another article you should read, by Paul Vitz, he was an atheist for most of his life and he wrote a book called Faith of the Fatherless, he explains why most people become atheists, main one is a bad relationship with there father. Here r some excerpts.

    brothersjudd. com/index.cfm/fuseaction/reviews.detail/book_id/1324/

  • @Ronniecob40

You seem to think that if a person says something, that's all that "proof" you need to believe. it. I became an atheist after being a Christian for most of my life. It was a slow process, and it had absolutely nothing to do with relationships. It had to do with proof and logic, nothing more. And sorry but I don't think Jesus did any of those things for you - you did them for yourself, and you should credit yourself for it.

  • @1ProudFemaleAtheist See, I did NOT become a Christian because someone preached the Bible to me, I became a Christian because Jesus drew me to Himself, by ACTUALLY proving to me He is real.

I Am sorry U do not believe me, but its true none the less. I could have possibly gotten off of Oxycontin by myself, but that would not explain be being healed of ADD, Social Anxiety and Depression, which He either healed me from or is healing me from. No way I could have a 4,0 in college with ADD.God Bless

  • @Ronniecob40 ADD, social anxiety and depression are all things that many people overcome. If you cut your arm off right now is Jesus going to regenerate it? No. You gave examples of MENTAL defuncts that can all be overcome with time, physical exercise or even a scenic change. Y'know what is commonly used to control all those conditions however? MEDICATION...which is created and was developed by SCIENCE, not religion.

  • @1ProudFemaleAtheist

We would expect, therefore, that men who become atheists will find a new absolute principle with which to order the world. Thus, we expect male atheists to be quite explicitly atheistic and to have a new "divinity" that takes the intellectual place of God. As a consequence, atheistic men should be intense believers in such alternative principles as reason, science, progress, humanism, socialism, communism, or existentialism. And this is what we see in the lives of atheists

  • @Ronniecob40

People ARE NOT BORN BELIEVING IN GOD. You are blatantly lying when you say that. Religion and the concept of a divine sky-daddy has to be TAUGHT to a child, they do not have it "instilled" in them.

  • @1ProudFemaleAtheist It is a Scientist that is claiming this, not me. According to this Scientist, he believes that if you put children on an Island and let them raise themselves, they would believe in God, he did scientific studies on it. He said children in other cultures who were never raised with religous beliefs, believed in God. I Am sorry u do not believe that either, but he did scientific studies to prove it.

Maybe you were raised Catholic, which would explain U turning yur back on God.

  • @Ronniecob40 You're wrong on one aspect. Yes if separated from society they would develop their own gods. Your talking like they would start to believe in the Christian God. That is not true. The study shows that we create gods, not the other way around.

  • @Clubbingshawn No, I never said they would believe in Jesus ,just God. Thats why Christians are here, to tell people about Jesus being the One and Only True God.

Why is it do you think all people have a tendency to believe in God of any form, even when we have never been told about Him? Do you think it may be possible that God created us to believe it, even when we have never been exposed to conclusive evidence?

  • @Ronniecob40 I didn't say that you referred to them as believing in Jesus, but the Christian God. Your still saying it like that. It's been shown that people, before believing in 1 god, believe in many spirits. Spirits of the land and air, of fertility and even music. Then "gods" get into the mix, then they mash them all together into 1. Like I said in my first comment, WE create God(s), not the other way around.

  • @Ronniecob40

What you don't seem to understand is that his conclusion that children "believe in god" is not based on any proof, just mere speculation. Claiming that children would believe in God if raised alone on an island doesn't mean shit - unless it actually happened and he interviewed the children. Man does have a propensity to create gods, that is true. That does not mean that "proves" their existence, it just proves that humans tend towards belief in the supernatural.
