I was thinking of something like this, but even better, although I lack an in depth knowledge of how induction works... what if we were to take one lane of a major freeway, I5 or I90 for example, lets say a carpool lane of sorts and lay an induction cable, or strip along the surface or just below. If electric cars were developed that could obtain a charge through the wheel, you would have a constant charge on long drives, lets say you were to pay 5 or even 10 cents a mile for it...
