Power Rangers, Beetleborgs...i cant really think of many good american shows like that but Ninja Jiraiya, Jaspion, Gaivan, Changeman, Cybercops, Jiban lol there are so many awesome japanese action shows that shit on power rangers. Im talking production here.

Cybertron was promoted as "From the makers of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, starring Jason David Frank " and when it promotes JDF, it shows him with the "JDF as Tommy the green ranger" footage aswell.

Tommy filmed this after he lost his powers on PR. Due to high demand from fans, he was asked to come back to PR. The leader in VR was supposed to be White Ranger, but was swapped for Tommy. Also, the "go green ranger" music you hear was made FOR Cybertron but when Tommy went back to PR, they re-did the song for PR.

tommy wasnt originally supposed to be the white ranger. his contract was supposed to be finished after his "green ranger" episodes. there were so many fan requests for tommy to come back, they swapped him with another actor who saban planned to be white ranger. and i think hes the blond guy that yells "trooper transform" in this video.

Yep. This was suppose to be the original adaptation of Metaldar in which JDF is the main character for the original pilot presentation, but Saban decided to change the story at the last minute thus giving us, VR Troopers.

I like VRT but in a way,it would have been more exciting if JDF had done it. I just like the way he goes "Cybertron!" after he transforms. It would be odd though. PR would have ended with fully available sentai footage and VRT would still be on using footage from Ryukendo and stuff!

Cybertron was just a prototype of Vr Troopers

but it was scrapped because of a copyright issue with the name(cybertron being a planet on the transformers series.)so they changed the name to VR troopers and jason frank turned down the role as the lead because of the sucess of MMPR.End of story
