  • ROTFLOL

These machines are fareeeeeeeaks of the auto industry

    Thank you very much

And thank you John Mcclearn for the best American muscle car '87 GNX

  • wow guys. get off the gas. its a real grand national. just being beat on a little. ive done it to mine, too. :D

  • to chcu taky umět ;(((( (I want to know it also..)

  • I thought they never made a GN with t-tops?

  • Omg is that an 87 grand national with TTOPS!!!!! Ttops make that car more rare than a normal national!

  • pretty nice car

  • i want a monte carlo or this

  • I have an '85 monte SS and Id prefer it over a gn, but GOD DAMN i wish i had that shit under my hood xD lol

  • @jaratt85 You're completely wrong. Do some research before you act like you know what you're talking about.

  • Comment removed

  • @jaratt85 some GNs were made with t tops

  • @Lifewontwait29 oh......... gnx's didnt come with ttops but regular gn's did... ok so I fucked up, for once :P if you want to see a perfect example of me arguing on here and being right, check out the vid of the 68 hemi gtx at the dyno and the guy arguing with me about the hp of an og hemi :P I rescend all previous statements

  • @jaratt85 lol its all good man you're absolutely correct about GNXs and yes mistakes happen all the time

  • those cars really light them tires up fast...

  • Good god man,Wtf do live? Looks like a dead body laying among all the trash...lmao

  • That GN sounds like shit.

  • effortless burnout,i love that fucking car

  • if a teen or sum1 in their 20s owned any type of car like this its prety easy 2 say its been beat on

  • @ContrabandRap i 16 and got a GN but i take care of it like i wuld die if a dent were to sho up on it

  • @metallicaholic05 hell yea u would but im sure u get on the highway n rip the hell outa it...esp wen a honda pulls up

  • @ContrabandRap dude, ill smoke hondas in nuetral, ive only raced my GN once and tht was for a pink slip, i got a 79 RS camaro for it, and thts wat i use for racing

  • @metallicaholic05 u dont ever race ur car 4 the 1st time 4 a pink slip..if u wlda spun ur tires that wlda been it...haha thats wat im talkn abt wit teens...i waz the same way..i got ma 88 gta when i waz still in high skool n honestly im surprised im still alive

  • @ContrabandRap a innercooled turbo v6 against a rs camaro w a 305 in it, i spun my tires all thru out 2nd gear, and i still won, i rebuilt the engine in the camaro, thts the only time ive raced w my GN, and possibly the last, thts wat my camaro is 4 despite it still being slower than my GN

  • @metallicaholic05 tru..def quit while ur ahead...u got any vids up of ur cars?

  • @ContrabandRap no, but im gonna get som up, i have a hard time not racing in it cuz i kno wat my GN does, and there is someone here w a viper tht wants to pink slip her viper for my GN, im not quite sure bout it, i kno my GN does the same 0-60 as the new vipers and new ZR1s, im j waiting for my new turbo

  • this is a good selling point in my book haha.... but i do see what your saying

  • who doesn't like a buick with an attitude problem

  • would like to know what size tire and rim you have, i like the look, send me a msg please on the backspacing too

  • A wolf in wolfs clothing

  • Cool car....VADERS RIDE

  • Baddest, blackest Buick ever.

  • ill give u a cookie for this car

  • gnx main difference is totally different rear suspension , ceramic turbo , and different chip , engine is identical internally to gn , trans is same . 547 gns which were identically optioned were sent to ASC , and modified and numbered.

  • as for the chome strip grille , the same grille was on 84, 85 ,86 . gm redesigned the grille for 87 on all regals . the 84,85,86 is blacked out except for the top edge of the grille

  • the vin does not tell if it is a gn it just tells if its a turbo car the vin code is 7 for 3.8 sfi engine , the trunk sticker tells we2 "for grand national . in early 87 production tiil jan 87 you could order a t type black w blackout trim called a WE4 which is black black trim black bumpers gm stopped this, the we4 is technically faster , t type aluminum wheels and aluminum bumper braces made the car lighter .

  • I love the stupid comments . grand nationals came with t tops / astroroof or hardtop

the grand national first came out in 1982 like 200 made SILVER N grey , no gn in 83 in 1984 the grand national was made in 1985 they were also made 84/85 are not intercooled "hot air cars" in 1986 they intercooled them and made around 4600 , in 1987 they made 20,000 , the demand was so high that they made them partially into the 1988 car time frame but still 87's .. also not all GNS had posi rear .

  • Let's see a burnout without power braking...Lol.

  • hell yea i want one wen i get older GN 4 LIFE

  • not san 87 its an 86 i believe missing the fender scoops/vents w/e

  • @taz275 talking out of his ass

  • @taz275 Not quite. 1986 GN's had a chrome grille not a blacked out grille like the car in the video. Some GN owners do swap the chrome grille out of their '86 and drop in the blacked out grille instead. the only real way to tell if this is an '87 GN would be to decode the V.I.N. In addition, fender vents were standard on the GNX only. '86 & '87 GN's did not have them unless you added them as aftermarket items like the fender flares.

  • BURNOUT NOT SKID

a skid is where you hit the brakes and slide

  • Great burnout. Just don't wreck that GNX.

  • You're fucking dumb. Not a GNX it has t-tops first of all and second GNX's are running for around 90 grand and are extremely rare and collectable.

  • its not a gnx why does every1 think that a black grand national always has to be a gnx theyre were only 547 gnx's made and they always sit in garages and anyone who owns them isnt going to do this with them theyre too valuable

  • @Jimbo5123

yeah whoever said its a gnx is retarded just look at the fenders. whatttttt badges and not vents? weird. gnx's had vents not "GRAND NATIONAL" badges.

  • nice buick, why are those guys on the bikes backing up,do they think it's gonna blow up, good times with the g n

  • supra eater

  • @IssaBendeck1 Not sure about Supra eater but still one of the baddest cars ever made, love em!

  • Cool burnout

  • Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice

  • Wow, I never knew the Grand National came with T-Tops. That's great! I love these cars!

  • Do u still have it

  • buick introduced intercoolers in 1986 on gnx grand nat & regal T s

  • for the retard who said only gnx came with an intercooler, your wrong. any grand national and also the t type could be bought with an intercooler in 1987

  • @brian9925 Only if it was Turbocharged.

  • @wildkyler95 GNs and T Types only came with the 3.8L turbo

  • @brian9925 your wrong only the 86 and 87 gn came intercooled including the all mighty gnx

  • give u 30,000 pm me

  • this was the one of the fastest stock cars made in the mid 1980's era. it came with a turbo and was intercooled. there were also only 20000 sold in the world and they only made 500 of the GNX model which was even faster. so with all that said its quite a rare and unique car. thats why its priced at what it is......

  • my dad had a few of them, one off the lot set the cat. converters on fire lol

  • yea they ran a 13.09 in a quarter

  • ooohh it did a burnout...

  • i want one

  • i love the turbo sound while u burnin them tires nice wip

  • OMFG They sound awesome while doing a burnout!.

  • over priced...i have seen this car up for 9 grand with alought done to it

  • i wish i had the money for this

  • $17,500?????????

  • Yeah, with only 173,000 miles, what a steal at $17,500. Maybe if you beat it a little bit more it would be worth 20k.

  • i know right lol wat a fucking rip off lol theres a nice one by my ouse just a regular gn 87 that needs a little tlc for 3500 same looking car and if u put 12k into it, it owuld b alot more better then this one and it would be less then the same price lol

  • also buddy beats on this one! lol bad sales pitch

  • where abouts do you live, im looking for an 87

  • its an 85 but i ask the guy bout it and he said it was sold and he was glad i didnt buy it cuz it was in rough shape

  • why people do burnout?

In fact the transmission and engine spoils after burnout and hard starting too.

  • It's a carguy thing, we don't need no stinkin treads on our tires, light those babies up and have some bloody fun ^_^

  • @AntiHero12109 That grand national would do that even without slicks

  • @01scrambla Slicks are tires that give way more grip than normal street tires, that's why they are for track and race use only. However, they do make street slicks, they are made of the same rubber as slicks only they have a hard sidewall and have lines to channel water so that the car doesn't hydroplane when the ground gets a little wet.

  • @jylp4u I know that im not retarded

  • @01scrambla oh, sounded like you were saying slick were just tires with no grip lol.

  • @jylp4u no,check out my gn videos.....it has street slicks

  • For traction at the track before a race. It heats up the tires for better grip. Or, like you see here, for fun. There's just something about seeing my tires light up that makes my eyes tear up. lol.

  • Nice car I have one just like that.

  • i was about to ask what happened to the rear GN tires and rims but then it occured to me you probably switched those off so you could burnout on shitty tires rather than the actual GN ones

  • That's not a real Grand National!

  • I didnt know that they came t top does anybody know is that a real option.

  • They did not come with t-tops and it wasn't even an option because considering such high performance of the car, it would've comprimised the structural integrity. I know of only a few cases where moonroofs were included in the factory build

  • No this looks like a GNX.

Turbo charged stock and was at the time one of the fastest production cars made.

A long with the Cyclone trucks.

These are becoming very rare to find.

  • its not a gnx it mioght a grand natiol but the gnx did not come with t tops or sun roof

  • Yes thats a real grand national and they did come with t tops the cars have a full frame under them so they handle the power with the t tops just fine..The rjc racing gn runs 8.90s in the quarter with t tops

  • the GNX didnt come with t-tops but the normal grand national did.

  • all you people are fucking dumb the first Buick Grand Nationals came out in 1985 and the first ones had T roofs and im only 12 and i know that

  • you are right cuz i own one of the first ones and mine has t tops og no doubt some dumb fucks never read and always bitch

  • Keep reading, you will see the first GN was in 82 and it was the only one not to be solid black. 215 were made that year, and only 16 were believed to have been turbocharged. Then 83 they skipped ( they did make some T-types, 3,732)and brought it back in 84, with 2000 all black cars being built. I have an 86 for sale now, check out the video. They made 5512 in 86 and 20,193 in 87, the last year, and the Gran Daddy of them all The GNX with 547.

  • the first grand nationals came out in 1982...the first widely produced turbocharged models were "hot air" (non-intercooled) and came out in 1984.....no gn's produced in 1983

  • Where are you located and how much $ ?

  • Thats not beating on it at all - give him a break. Mine has 700 plus 1/4 mile runs on it and same stock 22 year old block.

  • How much you want for it and where is it.

  • For sale! needs tires!

seriously man noone will buy this car if they know its been beat on. Then again its hard to find a car like that, that hasnt been beat on!

  • Comment removed

  • @llwrdlfstyl Who would want to sell one in the first place? If you have a car like that drive it and have fun,

  • @llwrdlfstyl i would buy that car

  • @llwrdlfstyl hmmm is there any other reason why anyone would buy a car like this??

  • @el0chino ummmmm hmmmm how about because it is a unique classic? not everyone that buys a chevelle or old camaro beat the hell out of it. dont get me wrong, if i bought this car i would beat the piss out of it haha. however, if i saaw this vid of the car before hand i would not buy it. its just a sample of the treatment it had recieved.

  • @llwrdlfstyl They're racing slicks, not street tires. Although I only did this once or twice, I definitely wouldn't consider it "beating" on it. That's about 10 psi of boost when it was capable of putting out 25 to 30 psi

  • @llwrdlfstyl

why buy something capable of doing this if you're going to drive it like grandma's cavalier? not everyone wants to sell their car, and generally people with older cars usually know how to take care of them.

  • Those GN's can burn a set of tires off quicker than any V8 I've seen.

  • who wants to buy it, after you abused the shit out of it...

  • HOW MUCH?

  • Do me. Now.
