i have to sing this for my voice glass! I'm a total beginner so I'm really nervous. It's for my final grade of the semester too ! Thanks for posting this though, I will try to remember the breathing you do especially. I always have trouble with it.
@sandrelacita thanks! i love this. wanted to sing it for voice lessons. I also sing sop 1 in my catholic church choir, but in my chamber choir in hs i sing alto 2 ( really wide range as my teacher says ) and for community choir i sing sop 1
@cosmogirl199477 Mezzo-sop... most of the time. I have occasional coloratura leanings too, and sing sop I in the church choir, though I've been known to sing tenor (in the tenor's octave) when necessary...(;
@katherinepigface Thank you! What a gracious compliment. I truly adored singing this piece, even if it is often thrown into the beginner's rep - it's one worth coming back to - it deserves to be sung as well as one's voice can sing it!
You have such a beautiful voice. This will be one of my solos in a couple months, and I think it's such a beautiful song and poem. Kind of reminds me of a song a Disney princess would sing. <3
Im singing this in 2 days for a choir competition solo. I'm really nervous. But great job.(:

I absolutely love the low voice version better than the high voice. I think you sound amazing.
