Hey Sierra This family is clearly involved with this crime and they are all scrambeling to lay blame where ever they can and they are all responsible for keeping the truth from law enforcement.
Dueling Grannies......ugh, at one point I thought they were gonna lose their dentures because they were getting so gnarly with each other, This is like the Hatfield's and the McCoys for sure.
@hollytoo unless it was proven to be an illegal drug like extacy....I think though she was given something to make her sleep and she was given too much and died.
Personally, I think that Haleigh died because of negligence and that her body was thrown in the water to hide her death. Nancy discounts this because she thinks this would be an easy thing to tell the truth about but in this family, with guns and threats abounding, AND with a 17 year old baby sitter, what we would think would be a reasonable reaction to a child overdosing on pills and what they think are two different things. JMHO
i felt as though Nancy was kinda rude to the grandma as to the part where haleigh was screaming in a different room while the monster misty covered her ears and didn't do anything made me cried this was an innocent child who ever since she was born she had it rough and these losers must be burnt alive and pronto.
It's probably nothing, but I found it interesting that even though Chelsea Croslin said that Flora Hollars had not been involved in their family for the last seven years that she still addressed her as "Nanny".

Krysal Sheffied's PI (former FBI agent ) Steve Brown imo is credible. He did one tv show only where he told the reporter off record the police would be searching for 2 items as opposed to a body. He claims after Tommy failed his polygraph Tommy gave detectives the info about St John's River. Im not saying Nannee didnt call them also but I doubt they acted on her information alone. I believe it had to come from Tommy's mouth to get them officially calling it a homicide.jmho
@IrelandsTruth I don't know for FACT that LE told the familes (Ron and Crystal) to start preparing for a funeral. I can see LE telling the family that they are now going to treat this as a homicide.

Misty was also at Granny's for about 10 days or so after Haleigh went missing and I think it may have been after Ron and Misty got divorced last October. Granny Flo appears to have always been in Tommy and Misty's lives as both of them reached out to Granny while in jail.
why is it, that I think that misty's grandmother is telling the truth..I know that misty has called her in the past. from the phone records. I think she might be the only one telling the truth.....
@marcymarie55 I feel Granny is telling exactly what she has heard, and is coming across as being truthful. Little bits and pieces are coming out each time she is on either of the shows. Granny is putting things together based on what she has heard, as well as everyone us, and everyone is thinking "well maybe it did happen this way."
@Sierra1947 I see it this way, Granny is not getting paid for being on the shows, she is not selling her story to the National Enquirer, she's not writing a book, she appears to be on Social Security with limited income, not being able to put money on the phone card for her grandchildren to call her, she gave money to
@Sierra1947 Misty's parents and ended up not having money to pay either her property taxes or something related to her home at one point. Granny has nothing to gain, except to be put "on the spot" with a broken heart to turn over what she has been told my her three grandchildren, etc.
@Sierra1947 Granny gave a bit of a background regarding Misty/Tommy's parents being crack heads, which shows that Misty/Tommy had a rough life being shuffled here there and everywhere without a stable home and guidance. It appears Tommy/Misty only knew what they know based on what they learned through their own parents. I find i so sad.
@Sierra1947 I mean that is exactly how I feel....I don't think she would lie on her grandchildren. I think she might confuse what she has decifered herself, from what the kids told her. She knows it will all come out in the end and if she is lying, then she would risk losing her entire family...On another note, I am not really fond of the biological mother's family either....

I am actually happy to listen to what anyone actually speaks about regarding what they may have heard, and I take OUT what their theory is in order to try and out some pieces together.

Thumbs up...my comment is that nancy will give as much air time to F hollars if it serves her own idea that either Misty, Tommy or Jo did this and she wants her viewers to hear any scenario where that evil Misty sat there and listened to someone rape that child...the sicker the better so that we will all hate Misty like she does...the only other person she would like it to be more is Crystal S...but dont anyone dare say Ron may have had a hand in this!
@chloeinoz You are so right! Ron obviously had some involvement or knowledge. But this is totally overridden by Nancy's animosity towards nearly all women in their teens or 20s. Granted after stories like the Anthony and the Cummings cases, young women may seem suspect...

If there are jail house tapes of the confession, then why didn't LE start the massive search when those tapes were heard? They didn't start the search until the granny call. How much time lapsed? Sounds like it was 3 months. Yet they seem to have found something at the search site.
@HatRatt They did start the search as soon as certain things happened. These phone calls only happened on 4/11 and 4/12. The search on 4/13. Nancy keeps saying a few weeks ago and that is not true.

Sounds like they found something so working backwards from the water, I wonder who would most likely have taken Haleigh to that river. If TC DID come knocking at the door, then it was Misty and Joe..but why did TC wait to report that he was there that night?
@HatRatt This is a tough one with regards to what happened to Haleigh, and who did it, who took her and where. With all the fingers pointing in all directions, it is clear LE is having a difficult investigation. .
@Sierra1947 It was reported months ago when Tommy got arrested on another charge that he told LE he was at the house knocking on the door around 10:00 PM that night. Now this info, IIRC came from Art. This family is like this, if you don's ask me a certain question, I am not going to volunteer the information. LE had the phone records, so it's possible when Tommy was arrested on other charges the police told him they knew Ron called his house.
