  • are you serious? the dude from faith no more had a death metal band? well....sort of a death metal band?

  • To me, this is more like Death Metal than it is like thrash metal. Thrash metal at the time had those yelled vocals and this is definitely more of the screaming plus there are definitive" Death metal growls in this. Anyways I've heard the band call this thrash, speed and death metal. They're not really all THAT different.

  • @mrbunghole more like grindcore than death metal

  • @FrankyJFuckwit More like GrindBore..............

  • DO THE BUUUUIUNNNGGLLLE GRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNNNDDDDDDD

  • @FallingAlex Life is a fucking job.

  • Why is it that I feel like listening to this (and other Mr. Bungle songs) when I've got a good alcohol buzz (from Four loko).? I guess I'll never know.....

  • Ive been listening to Mr Bungle all day lol

  • @xXEPICSXx92x cool

  • Isn't this considered more Thrash than Death. Reminds me of "D.R.I." or some heavy thrash/punk maybe "Total Chaos" ... idk maybe Death evolved from thrash?

  • @jasonistics Death actually took alot of infleunce from thrash so at the begging Death did sound alot like thrash.

  • One of my favorite demo tapes!

  • I always heard the Mr Bungle demos suck but this is unbelievably awesome.

  • @SatansRapists sound quality blows my rancid dickhole.

  • @mrbunghole pft they probably recorded it for like 40 bucks

  • @FrankyJFuckwit Pretty sure they just stuck a tape recorder in the middle of the room while they were playing.

  • @mrbunghole damn straight they did.

  • @mrbunghole hey tape recorders and tapes cost money.

  • @FrankyJFuckwit Recording a demo with this kind of quality was actually a multi-thousand-dollar proposition at the time this was made. I have heard demos before that make this sound like the equivalent of a 2010-era DTS HD Master Audio 7.1 track. And those ones were recorded much later than Raging Wrath, too.

  • this sounds like death metal. it´s so crazy and it came out at the same time as classics like scream bloody gore or seven churches

  • @donibard This actually precedes Scream Bloody Gore, which is pretty mind-blowing.

  • @s0cietysreject Yes, but Death started releasing demos in 1984. Mr. Bungle released this demo in 1986. Possessed released their first demo in 1984 as well.

  • @donibard they were really influenced by (or Mike Patton) was really influenced by John Tardy of Obituary.

  • Hell fuckin yea!

    Bungle at their finest!

  • i had this demo, noisy as all hell...

  • So much SOAD vs Bungle arguing, both are great bands you fucktards.

  • fuck, deep throating the devil

  • bitches, ol' HüX got sumthin fantomasin' freaky for ya'll ass to watch! c'mon over to MY page, fo I slap you silly!!!

  • He's like a higher pitched Lemmy!:D

  • Screw discussions, this is awesome music.

  • SOAD is influenced by Mr. Bungle billdiana giant douche

  • Exodus to the extreme..And is Bungle.

  • A Big long-haired circle pit is in order.

  • sounds so much like really early nirvana

  • @rasputozen early nirvana sounded like this not vise versa

  • @grazierianphotos well if you want to get technical, they both sounded like the melvins. Fecal Matter (kurt's early band) formed in 85' and recorded in 86' - pretty much paralleling Mr. Bungle.

  • @rasputozen king busso played with patton

  • If Chuck Norris formed a band Mike Patton would b the vocalist.

  • @Abon666 Chuck Norris's band would make Justin Bieber's music kick ass :-P.

  • @KungFuRascals3 People who make Beiber comments on Bungle posts should have their asses kicked by Chuck Norris. Honestly, you don't like the kid, fine, but stop advertising for him genuis.

  • @WarInBed "genuis"? Uhm, do you mean "genius"? Advertising for him? Come on! IT'S A JOKE! GET A GRIP!

  • 1980's grind-core

  • best mid 1980's grindcore music

  • this would pwn the fucking music industry.

  • @ManiacSerialKilleR UNLEASH THE BUNGLE.

  • Break shit into pieces

  • What are some more songs where Mike Patton sings like this? Death metal kind of style

  • @6stringbender95 "Merry Go bye bye" - listen to the whole song esp. the end from 3:40 on.

  • System of a down is pretty damn good, i must admit. Many people just dislike them because of the songs they always hear, but systems first album is raw as fuck and its a landmark album. But MR BUNGLE IS SICK!

  • @Rinaleightball1 I agree. SOAD have been influenced really much by Patton and other metal groups, just listen to "Sugar" and those amazing tempo changes. The band is awesome in their later records too, all the tempo changes and vocal harmonies in Mezmerize-album are awesome.

  • @Rinaleightball1

Fun fact: SOAD's bigest and most important influence is none other than the Bungle. :3

  • Does anyone else think he sounds like Chuck Shuldiner?

  • @DavidKinner lol

  • @DavidKinner yes...a little bit

  • I so wish this had better quality is sounds like it'd be sick as fuck.

  • definite slayer influence here...

  • Who Would Win In A fist Fight to the death Between Mike Patton, Jello Biafra or Richard D. James?

  • @Conkern65 Chuck norris..................

  • mike patton creative outlet lol

  • sounds alot like death.

  • @whatisitwithunow that's what i said!

  • @whatisitwithunow Early Death anyway.

HAIL DEATH AND MR. BUNGLE! .l..l

  • This was Mike before voice training.... :)

    fun days....

  • @sjcomputerdude he was only 18 too!

  • @sjcomputerdude Mike Patton never had voice training, Dildor. Whatchoo talkin bout???

  • who´s singing?is it really mike?

  • it is true... Mike´s voice is so similar to Blaine...

And the entire song is quite similar to the accussed...

    delightful....!!!!!!

  • This is a lot like the Angel of Death-parody from Carry Stress in Jaw. In a really good way.

  • I just wish they would release all of Mr. Bungle's demo's on one CD. I would diffenetly buy it.

  • Goddammit I love Mr Bungle!

  • You can hear a modern day medley of all the songs on "Raging Wrath of the Easter Bunny" from Bungle's show in Minneapolis on the Sno-core tour. Its recorded really well too.

I makes me want to make many many babies. And I hate kids!
