Reagan Jones and his band Iris are amazing!!! Most underrated band in the USA for sure!!! Reagan's songwriting is nothing short of superb!!! I cant believe he hasnt been signed to a major label yet!!!

yeah, I forgot how long It has been. I met the band a few years ago during a concert in Madison. I really hope they make the main stream radio. They deserve it. Reagan is something else in this world. We need more people with his faith in humanity as well as his purity to this world. I am glad I got a chance to talk with him and not make a fool of myself. Not to downgrade Sega, I can't speak his language for tech. More power to him for that. I love this band.

this had to be the hardest video to shoot. it is such a great song by such a great band and whoever decided to put Iris on such a small stage, should be taken outside and shot! this was the very first Iris appearance in the U.S. I was there. The promoter that made the decision to put such a great band like Iris on such an inadequate stage, should be revoked of his citizenship to the world and should just be catapulted into space.

These guys are probably the best electronica band ever. On par with 7red7, depeche mode and channel 69--They have such fantastic songs off all their cds since Andrew Sega joined the duo/group. You need to see them live!!! and get their cd's at cd baby

Where was this filmed?

This was filmed at Nation in Washington DC. right before it was destroyed. I was extremely upset about this shoot because Iris was put on a little sidestage that had poles in front of it, and then to top that off, an image was projected behind their set promoting a soon-to-be-extinct event! So the whole video became mostly close-ups of Reagan - with the extreme close-up being his eye...

I was at that show, the first I'd ever seen them in concert and Reagan said afterwards that it wasn't his best set but he was grateful to be there.

Shiny Toy Guns was also put onto that little stage while all the industrial bands like ChemLab were on the larger stage. Then again, I didn't like that stage either. It was ridiculously high up.

I was so stupidly tired that day too that I made an ass out of myself talking to Reagan until he asked if I was okay. Heh.

Good memory though.

The main stage was perfect however for video purposes. You need a stage that's high up so you don't get people's heads in front of the band. As a matter of fact, that stage was at a better height than some other venues that charge for videotaping.
