it would be a lot of work and the material is expensive

that horse fence costs about $250 bucks /100 foot

but there are variations on this many people could do

I want to actually make it bigger so the cats want to stay in. They actually still think of it as a big cage - bunch of boogers. Once they have large woods and acreage to spread out in its hard for them to accept anything smaller.

Of everything i have to say the walkway and the little covered resting places are more popular then the actual huge pen

i have had people say they are building a mini cage next to the house with higher walkway

trust me the walkway and observation areas are more popular then the outside pen

That's sweet, I saw a news story on someone who made some pretty cool cat walkways in his house. I'll give you the link (it's not on YouTube) but YouTube blocks posting links so just type everything I write except remove the parentheses and replace the word "dot" with a period. Believe me, this video is awesome, the guy transformed his whole house for his cats.

@robint64 Yeah, he put in several nice little spiral stair cases so they could get up to the walkways and cut holes in the walls so they could get from room to room. Usually he cut the holes in unique shapes (like the state of Minnesota-where he lived). I think he had a woo dshop or something.
