  • I so think they have a great lawsuit against Wall-E. Ally is a sweetie!

  • nomber Johnny 5

  • dude i loved Ally in this, and the breakfast club, but this is a nice song thogh

  • @jdog34505 she was also good in Wargames.

  • @Dirtfire o yeah

  • i think she was responsible for my first boner.

  • Do you still have it? :)

  • Johnny Five is hotter.

  • I agree.

Ally Sheedy's still hot till this day.

As for The Breakfast Club, it was actually her favorite film to star in.

  • She's cute

  • I love this movie!

  • What's the name of the song? I dig it.

  • Come and Follow Me Max Carl and Marcella Detroit

  • This song is bitchin. I hadn't seen this movie since I was a kid, and one day this song popped into my head again, and I said "dude, that song was awesome" I didn't hold the same appreciation for cheesy music as a child.

  • Neither did I, but now I love the particular sound of the music from the 80's. The ambiance makes me nostalgic, because of all those movies that made my childhood... And I also realized that many old songs I had never really paid attention to were actually as good if not better than most of the modern stuff I usually listen to. So now I come back often to hear this song again!

  • Opps, I ment to say that they still had morals, and used them for the most part.

  • I think what seperates an 80s lady and makes them more attractive then their modern couterparts is that not only did 80s women know how to dress with class and morals, but they had brains as well. By brains, I mean they could think for themselves and make good choices with out a publicist influencing them. Most of todays famous ladies are overly riscay, moral bankrupt, brainless dingbats! they may have a brain, but they sure as hell don't put it to good use!

  • Amen to that!

  • yeah you're right. I just watched Short Circuit on Netflix -- last time I saw it was probably over 10 years ago when I was 12. I'm lucky to have grown up in the late eighties so I have some idea what class is. Sheedy really is cute & spunky in this movie.

  • ha ha well put.If you dont have a stolen porn video now you are a has been!

    g

  • I would be more attracted to a 80s lady, then a modern day harlet. The 80s women are absolute bombshells compared to todays young girls. Britney, Lindsey, Paris, Jessica etc, to hell with them all. Give me a Ally Sheedy, Molly Ringwald, Elisabeth Shue, and Tiffany or any other 80s women. long live the 80s.

  • And don't forget Lea Thompson from the movie Space Camp. She is the extreme opposite of today's super-trashy starlets.

  • Oh yes, I can't forget Miss Lea Thompson. She is a bombshell as well.

  • Long live the babes of the 80s! :)

  • Hell yeah man :D

  • Why is it that women from the 80's like Ally Sheedy and her counterparts are better looking and more attractive and sexier then their modern equivalents? I love how women could and do look attractive and sexy fully clothed back then as opposed to looking like harlets today.

  • I think why the women of yesterday are more attractive than the women of today is simply because the women of the 80's actually look like adults as opposed to looking like eternal teenagers.

  • Thank you for the well thought out comment, it is appreciated. This is what I was trying to get acrossed. I think you are quite right. I think this is because kids and young adults are too soft these days. Kids born in the 80s and before the 80s were harden. They were exspected(sorry for the spelling error) to mature much more quickly then todays youth. Also, we as a society still had good taste as to what was exceptable clothing.

  • You can say that again.

  • Club. I love how Johnny 5 walks in on her in the bathtub, and his first comment is that she has changed colors, because he has never seen a naked women before. Overall a good movie, and I'm glad I bit the bullet and bought it for $5.00.

  • I bought this movie yesterday evening, and watched last night. This is a good movie. Ally Sheedy was really good in it. I loved how Number/Johnny 5 acted both human and robotic at the same time. There were a couple of great one liners. Like for example when the other three robots are out to get him, Johnny 5 insults one of them by telling it that it's mother was a Snowblower! It was fun to see Ally Sheedy in normal form as a opposed to her freaky Alison Rynolds charactor from Breakfast....

  • Long live the 80's the best decade of the 20th century.

  • You should definitely buy it!

  • And Short Circuit if I get a postive answer.

  • I found this classic 80's movie in the 5.99 bin at my local Walmart, and I almost bought it. At the last moment I didn't, is this movie worth adding to my 80's tv and movie colletion? If so I'll go and buy it. Ally Sheedy is a good actress. I have Breakfast Club, and hope to get St. Elmos fire soon.

  • love it :)

  • I love Short Circuit! it's my long-time favorite movie, and I love the slow-motion clips! Beau-ti-ful!

  • Now I understand why I love robots so much! This movie was one of my favorites when I was a kid and I'll always love it. And the song's great too. Long live Johnny 5!

  • Oh yea. In the movie, she loves animals, has tons of cats, dogs and whatever. Been a long time since I've seen this.

  • this is what a gay terminator would look like

  • who sings this song?

  • "Come And Follow Me"

Performed by Max Carl and Marcy Levy

  • Is this song featured in the movie short Circuit?

  • It's the song that plays during the end credits.

  • Canainm, dog, mutt *giggle* always did that on that scene:)

  • Man, this was one of my favorite movies growing up. I loved Short Circuit. I loved Sheedy in Wargames, too. :)

  • Very well done. :)

  • i wish i was that robot

    ahahahaha

  • And I wish I was that girl! Johnny 5 was my hero. ;)

  • *gazes deepy into the youtube page*

    I could be your robot

    *extends hand mimicking robot motions*

  • Oh! Well, then I guess I could be your Stephanie for a virtual dance...

*Walks forward to reach extended hand*

  • "Who's Johnny" by El Debarge plays.

  • *Smiles recognizing the song and seriously wonders if it happens to be playing by chance*

  • Come and follow me

To wherever the light breaks through.

    Come and follow me

And you're gonna be dancing too.

    In your eyes I see,

    You're alive as me.

So whenever I'm lost then I can follow you.

  • Ah, this one remains the best. There are definitely good songs playing on the radio! *Sings along*

Too many people throw it all away

Can't seem to take another empty day

    Trick is to keep believing

    Trick is to simply see

Just how great the gift of life can be

  • And..... Scene!

    Perfect.

  • Is it? :)

Thank you very much! *little bow*

To any movie director interested to make a "Short Circuit 3" who would happen to be watching this, you just found your main actors for the next movie!

  • *sips bottled water in Hollywood-esque fashion.

    yeap.

  • *sits down, puts cool sunglasses on and waits for a phone call from Hollywood*

  • *looks at his cheap alarm clock in anticipation for a call from a director or casting agent.*

  • *Really begins to wonder how come nobody has called yet and decides to wait right next to the phone, but changes her mind about quitting her job just in case*

  • *gives up and pretends to be Emilio Esteves from the breakfast club

  • *also gives up, has normal breakfast without the sunglasses and sadly goes back to work*

  • *calls Faunatik and bilbomarks and offers them a position in new short circuit movie*

  • Ah, finally! Someone noticed our awesome talent. 8)

    *starts packing her case*

Oh, but wait. Is Johnny 5 gonna be CG now? I'd like to see the real one...
