best fuckin band of the nineties! saw em in Paris when was a wee 18 yr old! proper cool fuckers! played footie in the venue with em after the show an drank alot! they shoulda been bigger than anyone..dunno why they weren't..? ace band who shoulda got the recognition they deserved. great drums/bass/guitar/vocals..great flash of genius..an then they were gone...good times!
First saw them in May 90 at nottingham supporting Leatherface i think. Thought they were awesome. The bass player seemed to have a different way of playing. The john peel album they did had some total classics on it like 'Leo'. Great stuff and great times!!!
@thomasmichael1 Yeah that was a great album but I lent it to a mate in the mid 90's and have never seen it since. Didn't it have a rare tune with "train" in the title? Seem to remember that being a great song!
@staercky Yeah... Morgan's bass tone is more massive than The Universe and that manic style both supports and destroys at the same time. Holy shit, I should be a music journo coming out with stuff like that. Or maybe not.
blah blah blah blah nay sayers, how could you judge a thing like art, music, now in days all you hear on the internet is people that think they know something about music or taking a dump for all that matter. Me now included lol
...brilliant!! the fookin good old days!! All we got now is the total wank shite that is keane, coldplay, scouting for girls, snow patrol etc etc , dull boring fooking rubbish bands that have pretty much killed off music!! Fucking hate those limp wristed shit student bands now!!
