  • FUCK SEA WORLD!!

  • @NYCK1807 FUCK YOU!!!

  • females live longer than males = matriarcal society? There must be a better reason, otherwise most mammal communities would have that.

  • @caohanlu perhaps there isn't such a significant size difference between genders (like with apes) that means dominance comes with experience?

  • They have passed on traditions and teachings for decades if not centuries, and all the while as these traits are passed on they continuously improve them and advance them to carry their species to higher levels. This is one species we should take note of to answer the questions of how we have become what we are. Because in our lifetime on this earth this species is on that same path. It's only a matter of time!

  • I must say the amount of studies we find on this species alone is amazing. I'm from Vancouver Island Canada and have seen these creatures all my life. I have researched and studied about them a lot and I have to say this is living evidence of a species in the process of continuously advancing and evolving to become more successful. They learn so fast, they have society, culture and tradition, and have evolved the ability to develop unique and rather complex dialects suited to only one clan.

  • any idea where in the world these orcas are from? they seem smaller than say the ones found in iceland or british columbia

  • Such an incredible creature, orca are at the top of their game...At least if it weren't for those pesky humans they would be...

  • This animal gives a sense of peace

  • It must be amaizing to be there filming them!

  • Clans..Subspecies?!? I didn't know that different clans had different dialects...amazing footage! Would love to know more about them! I thought there were only three different species like the resident, transient and offshore orcas!

  • @TamilianPonnu What he means by Clans is for example. In British Columbia Canada We have "pods" in the northen part of Canada and Alaska there is A pod G pod and R pod. however a "clan" is a matriarchal lineage. If you use A pod. You would have A1 clan, A2 clan and so on. these multiple matriarchal lines are what make up a "pod" They don't often encounter eachother but they all share a common ancestor. It's like your immediate family, your brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers,

  • @TamilianPonnu aunts, uncles, and grandparents. Then you have your second cousins and more distant cousins who you may or may not know well. However you are still related to them because your immediate family and your distant family all share the same ancestral blood line.

  • MASTER OF THE OCEAN

He tossed himself into a net to travel onto land,

a master of the ocean wide, to make his peaceful stand.

His yin and yang so black and white, he jumps through every hoop,

doing tricks to please us all, how humbly he stoops.

Ambassador from paradise, he circles through his pond

to teach us peace in power brought from heaven's great beyond.

Prisoner of politics from sea to oily sea,

he has a message for us all: "Set my people free!"

  • Orcas have different dialects for every region??? I don't believe that part. Sometimes scientist are going too much!

  • @jhuriza1 This is actually a fact. Doesn't matter if you believe it or not, it's a factual observation. Nice thing about science: if in doubt, you're always allowed to *read* the research papers on these findings, backed with evidence, graphs, charts, bibliographies, and whatever else you could possibly want for proof.

  • That was amazing to see

  • orcas are so cool!!!!! i love them like so much and they are my favorite animal!!! i mean, how could you not love and respect such an amazing creature???

  • There are no recorded whale attacks on people. On a few occasions orcas confused humans for seals but once they got closer and realised their mistake, they left. So, even if an orca was hungry and you were the only thing in the water, it still wouldn't eat you.

  • Orcas= assholes

  • @TheSirhclee - you are an asshole! What have those beautiful creatures ever done to you?

  • @Whaleicious Sorry if I bring this subject back, but people who say stupid things like what that Sirhclee (whatever the heck he calls himself) just want to get peoples nerves wrecked up. The best thing to do is just ignore them as much as possible.

  • It's a damn shame what they do to them in captivity look it up they get their life expectancies shortened dorsal fins collapse and driven crazy these animals are to pure to be hunted and held in human hands

  • So beautiful and amazing to see them in their natural habitat, playing and living life the way they were meant to! Seeing them in captivity distorts our view of the natural world, which is why these theme parks should end.

  • I love orcas!! ♥

  • like the dolphins do....

  • orcas doesnt atleast gang rape there clan females :p or even other creatures like humans

  • do orcas eat or attack humans?

  • @beautifulstar33 No orcas eat salmon and the tranisents eat whales and seals. There has never been an attack on a human being in the wild only in captivity.

  • @KillerWhaleResearch why do places only allow free diving--as opposed to cage diving--with orcas?

  • @beautifulstar33 Im not really sure.

  • @KillerWhaleResearch They eat other whale calves and seals too...

  • @beautifulstar33 THeres little data to prove, but i wouldn't put it past them.

  • @Sargethepyromaniac why not?

  • @beautifulstar33 Becuase if its hungry, and you are the only thing in the water, it'll probably view you as food.

  • @Sargethepyromaniac truem but they say unlikely as we cant fit in their throats and that they know where to find their food.

  • @beautifulstar33 Still, anything can happen, and it could just take a bite out of you as oposed to eating you whole.

  • @Sargethepyromaniac I agree. thus, they should have cage diving with them. if they did bite you, woukld they be able to rip your leg/arm off, since their teeth aren't that big?

  • @beautifulstar33 From what i know, which is not much to be honest, Orcas tend to bite and wait for their prey to bleed to death, or attempt to drown in as opposed dismembering their prey.

  • @Sargethepyromaniac well, in 1972, an orca bit a surfer but imediately let go and left, so i don't know. Wait, if u bleed and its waiting for u to die, then won't blood trigger sharks to come?

  • lekker kip tandoori

  • if ever asks me which animal i would like to be , it would be orca

  • wild kingdom was staged using tamed animals. if you don't believe me google or youtube the fifth estate documentary "cruel camera". learn the truth about so-called wildlife shows.

  • @theeuprise

Well obviously they are not going to risk bring a dangerous creature onto set in front of tens of people for the show someone could get hurt

  • @MarkDunne1698

your missing the point and i see you haven't seen the documentary yet. the fact is viewers were deceived through staged animal behavior. animals were abused, injured and even killed! disney, discovery channel and shows like wild kingdom and wild america hire companies like "animals of montana, Inc" to supply them with trained animals to behave like real wild-life animals. please youtube "cruel camera" to see this for yourself and make up your own conclusions.

  • Each clan has their own dialect?

... I wonder how long it'll be before they take over the world, lol.

  • I love to watch orcas preform!

  • @phinx400 That is the closet that we can get to them.

  • evertything that exists on this earth is here to amuse us. If i feel for watching a orca in a tub then let me do so.

  • you see that. Thats how theyre supposed to live. Communicating and playing with their families not stranded in a tank.

  • i love orcas i think they are so beautiful and amazing? i wonder what one will do? when they lose their mate? or baby?

  • as long as the whale is in good health( i know the tanks are too small) there good. there not sick. there not, being abused. nothing!!! and ignorant people would only say "release them!" if they release them they will die cause they don't know what too do. there are depended on humans. you'd be sending the orcas to there death.

  • Thier so cute family :)

  • I love orcas they are such magnificent creatures!

  • Orcas are so beautiful (:

  • Where is this place in the video?

  • they´ve goy more to teach us than us in any sea world cheap trick

  • Don't you think Orcas look more pretty and beautiful, swimming in the wild then in gigantic swimming pools doing tricks and stuff? Why the hekk would anyone want to watch that when you could watch them in their natural space? ):

  • ever since my recent nightmare of an orca drowning my cousin- im really scared of them, but orcas are still one of my favs whales.

  • Oh please, can anyone tell me where they filmed the first seconds?:x

  • orca é um animal muito bonito né??

  • Orca is absolutely GORGEOUS !!!

  • orcas still dont match a sea horse

  • I'd love to sit where that guy sat and just watch them move around like that.

  • They are the oceans version of wolves, hunters traveling in packs, so facinating even though they look cute they aint Free Willy...

  • JELLYFISH

    00:50

  • When I was little I used to think that the big white spots on the head was their entire eye. lol :P

  • ok wtf? they can talk to eachother :O damnn i wanna be an orca :( would be soo awesome

  • ok now who is that 1 idiot that disliked this??? lemme no and lemme at em!!!

  • @winnemio

sorry dude i was just joking around ;)

  • I like how an Orca is the most leathel killer in the sea, and yet the are very friendly with each other and also to dolohins and humans in the wild. I find it crazy how there has never been a case of someone being killed by an Orca in the wild.

  • Comment removed

  • it's wierd to think that thing could rip somethings head off and eat while it's friends are watching

  • if they gonna build a sea world actully make it 1233635365653 sqare feet in stead of 500 square feet and actully make it like home

  • @TheSoccerangel321 It still wouldn't work the wild is where they all belong.

  • They aren't very cute if you find one in the wild. They can kill anything including Great White Sharks. Believe it or not. It's true.

  • @gongyman Thats only because they are tranisent killer whales there are three types of killer whales residents, tranisents, and offshores. Residents and offshores are fish eaters, and tranisents eat marine mammals inluding sharks, i've seen them in the wild and the are amazing mammals just roaming free.

  • @KillerWhaleResearch do u think they eat those fish because they want to, or because the other major fish populations have been overfished? it just doesnt make sense to me. a dolphin eating another dolphin

  • @gongyman Oh I believe it. Seen a documentary about them YEARS ago that had footage of a group of orcas attacking and killing a blue whale. However, strangely enough, there was also an eye witness account on a different, more recent program. They guy was watching a deer swim a channel between two islands then the orcas showed up. Instead of eating the deer tho one of them gently nudged it to shore.

  • what a relaxing view...free wild animals doing what they wanna do in their free world..nothings better than that..

  • orcas is not a clown its a living thing, let it live life their way you barstards

  • OMG orca's are like the cutest animal ever..... sooo sweettt

  • I find them beautiful and intelligent.

I can just watch them swim and play all day in the water and not get tired of the sight.

  • @misshollywoodlove hah, :) Ew you have a justin bieber video on your page! Runn Awaaaaaayyy

  • I wanna see killer whales kill people

  • @MANJUICEIFY

They don't really hunt stuff that is over the water, with the exception of seals.

Mostly, they hunt fish, and the occasional shark.

  • Neprocenjivo...!

  • I wonder why male Orcas only live to about 50 years? They have no predators really to worry about, unless someone is whaling.

  • @Timothy2035 too much sex...

  • @Timothy2035 It's there normal lifespan males only live till 50 years. In captivity it's only 15 years or lesser.

  • @KillerWhaleResearch false....there isnt any sufficient evidence of those findings..

  • @t97135862 What exactly is your question now I certainly dont want to get into a fight but there is alot of evidence to suggest that fish eating residents only eat salmon and tranisents each seals, peguins, whales, and dolphins. They eat the salmon because thats what they have always eaten prior to the last generation. There have been lots of research and study into all this and I do know what Im talking about.

  • Heavy risk, but the priiiiize.

  • Glad I don't go back to Marine World now. Used to love it as a kid. Why so many who don't have the means to properly keep and cage a large animal like a lion, bear or whale is beyond me.

  • orca talk make me smile(:

  • The word "language" has yet to be proven to be accurate in cetaceans.

  • i was thinking i wanted to pet them until the narrator said, "efficient killers"... ooh, maybe a bad idea

  • @silver101dragon They dont kill humans "efficient killers" means they hunt for food every so often when they are hungry or teaching the calf so it can learn they are beautiful illigent mammals.

  • this is how orcas should live NOT in tanks performing stupid tricks for food in a cramped tank for the rest of their lives

  • @ducrozet74 Yes I agree that why I refuse to see them in captivity and I haven't done so in 16 years since I went to SeaWorld Orlando hated the place. The best place in the whole world is to see them in the wild and its beautiful and amazing great comment BTW.

  • @KillerWhaleResearch i would NEVER go to sea world and support this. Also i would NEVER go to a circus and support the cruelty to elephants, and tigers or whatever poor animals lifes they destroy for the enjoyment of humans. Well i dont enjoy it but apparently ignorant people do.

  • @ducrozet74 We're not ignorant people, we just aren't informed about their cruelty so don't call us ignorant if we don't have all the information like you do.

  • @xiKinky well yes you people are ignorant, because of all the information that is out there and has been available for years, also try google, try reading, try educating yourself, be curious, ask questions, do research.

don't go through life ignoring everything find out the truths yourself, question everything around yourself.

also use common sense, with this great invention called THE INTERNET you CAN learn about things.

  • @ducrozet74 It's not like it suddenly pops up in our head "oh yes, I need to do some research on Orcas, elephants and tigers" no that's not how it is, I have common sense & just because I never thought about finding out information on these animals doesn't make me or anyone else Ignorant. I understand where your coming from you care about the animals but it doesn't make us Ignorant if we don't know things. We have other things to do research about, there's lots of things we don't know yet.

  • @xiKinky to me its just weird how people wouldnt question it, i mean to take a wild animal like an orca and make it do tricks, its not a domesticated cat. same with an elephant, they dont make it do tricks like standing on their head which they never do in the wild by giving it treats and saying good boy, they train these wild animals by torture, starvation and breaking their spirit by fear. anyway NOW u know and i wouldnt watch the footage of it thats out there because its heart breaking. :)

  • Respond to this video... i hate how they are called "killers" and people bring up how they kill, you know what animal on this planet kills just for fun and pleasure? humans. orcas kill sure to eat, they don't eat potatoes.

  • @ducrozet74 you missed out dolphins they kill for shits and giggles as well.

  • @Dracos1337 my cats kill mice for fun.....but anyways you get my point though right? humans are wackos.

  • @xiKinky Look how big they are and look at the tanks. It's not information, it's just OBVIOUS!

  • @TheGfg90 Are they big enough to swim around? Yes, don't over exaggerate, It's INFORMATION that most don't know about, what happens behind the scenes.

  • @xiKinky

Do you know what the word ignorant means? It means you don't have all the information. Your sentence could have read "Don't say we don't have all the information just because we don't have all the information" or "don't call us ignorant just because we're ignorant" equally well.

  • @xiKinky

we ARE ignorant. if you watch some of the videos by SHARonlineorg, you would see that we ARE. Do you know who Strawberry Fudge is? She's a horse who DIED at a rodeo. Cheyenne Frontier Days rodeo KILLS animals, and seaworld and circuses arent much better, they all but corrupt animals lives and force them to DIE TO ENTERTAIN US. if thats not ignorance, i dont know what is.

  • @TheEbonyshadow1 pipe down tree hugger lol

  • @xiKinky wait..doesnt ignorant mean not knowing about a paticular subject?.....or have i got the wrong meaning....

  • @xiKinky .. Ignorant: adj. lacking knowledge.

  • @karacheita I know what ignorant means, but the way I meant it is, Ignorant isn't what we want to be called, that's a highly uncomplimentary thing to call somebody when we're busy people & don't know what goes on in the world. It's not like we want the Orcas and other animals to be abused, nobody wants that.

  • @xiKinky that's what being ignorant means, having a lack of knowledge or information

  • wow........

  • "Males live for about 50 years, females can survive into their 80s, which explains why their society is matriarchal"

Human males generally live 5 to 10 years less then human females, yet I don't see that many matriarchal societies, it's always been mostly patriarchal.

I say it's all in the mindset of the species.

  • killer whale?

  • @0058333 that is the common name (don't understand why but there you go :S ) but their real name is orca :)

  • If people would stop killing them Whale's/Dolphin's would evolve into fish people.. but we got here first, so killem all! With Love~ Japan

  • Wow. They are as diverse as people, if not more.

  • Orcas are kool- nothing more.

Btw- any intelligent animal would want to be free to roam not caged or pooled up like a criminal.smh

  • @IceManLikeGervin Yes, and they all want to be free unless they're born in captivity.

  • @misshollywoodlove sounds like you want to snuggle with them =O

  • oh dang, threesome

  • aww so cute i love orcas!!!!!!!

  • pjedivno

  • orca can beat sharks anytime they want to.

  • @ThomasisaMAN orcas can EAT a shark anytime they want to lol

  • @ThomasisaMAN it doesnt matter. they can only attack with their mouth

  • @ThomasisaMAN And with their tail. There's lots of power in that one ^^

  • I am amazed at how close to Humans Orca's are in their society, life span, education, and different languages ... it truly is magnificent!

  • DAVID!!

  • @CaseyIsForever

    Likes balls.

  • Elegant and beauty. That's how you spell Orca.

  • orca is my fav dish :)

    orca heart taste great

  • i love orcas <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

  • If the world lasts long i think this will be the next species to evolve human level brain function, but it would be cool to see how they use it, if they will become as destructive as humans or if they will continue there time being carefree and content to swim. I tend to think the latter.

  • orca killing school !!!!

  • awesome and true ...

  • Orcas should always be free, not made to do pathetic tricks for our amusement...their natural lives are more amusing and astonishing then any cheap trick we can teach them.

  • @SubparPanda I agree

  • @SubparPanda I agree. However, at least they are safe and won't have to worry about being hunted. <3 Plus,we don't know if the Orcas don't like doing tricks. They are so smart that they may be amused, they act like dogs, dogs love doing tricks cause they have the intelligence to do so. Though-I think it's not the tricks that are hurting them. They just need the proper environment to live in, which yes SHOULD be in the ocean, but if taken in, they can be just as happy with proper care and love.

  • @LotsOfLoveXOXO

"With proper care and love" ....Thats the problem..this treatment is not nearly as likely as you'd probably think. :/

  • @SubparPanda I double that notion and that also applies for every animal

  • @SubparPanda Yeah, I think that if we ARE going to keep them in captivity, they shouldn't be enslaved and have comfortable heating, chances to use their natural instincts, and adequate socialization with others of their kind.

  • @SubparPanda to be fair though, they aren't exactly a charitable creature. Many of them are vicious bastards, so it sort of strikes me as fair if we give them a taste of domination.

  • @HamerD lol, to be fair your an idiot. Humans are vicious as well hunting and killing everything we eat. Orcas only take from nature what they need to survive. No more, no less. Humans on the other hand rape everything in the natural world to show our dominance. Last i checked, Orcas nor any other creature normally kills its own kind, but humans do on a daily basis. Think about that.

  • @rgr460 Last time you checked ? Checked where ? Infanticide is common amongst species. Lions consistantly kill cubs that are not theirs when they take over a pride. 50 rodent species alone commit infanticide....on it goes.

Also, the contraction of you are is you're.

  • @HamerD

What the...That doesn't even make sense. And who are we to "give them a taste of domination" anyway?. Humans are vicious bastards too, more so then other animals. What right do we have to judge and condemn other species for the exact same thing we do?

  • @SubparPanda lol true, but since we made a system called "money", this happens. :c

  • @SubparPanda fuck off you!

  • @SubparPanda Dang hippies!

  • free willy?

  • i'm so glad it is in the wild than in a concrete tank :)

  • Gotta love it...

  • Oh it's very nice, we are lucky we can see video like this.
