  • you ride like I like to, bareback, I very rarely saddle my gelding anymore. it is easier and faster to ride bareback and more comfortable. Gorgeous stallion, with beautiful manners...he is a keeper.

  • He is just pefect! I've seen crazy arabs & crazy stallions (Due to bad owners that don't know how to handle them) & he is just the best example to both! A lot people people think arabs are crazy & I just keep telling them that they just "think" a little more then other horses! :P

  • How many hands is he?

  • cute

  • Very excellent example of a pure gentleman! There are stallions out there that understand that acting up will displease their owner and wont want to. Very much kuddos on the video and on your stud!

  • @MortalGirl87 Thank you very much! It is appreciated when intelligent comments are made, I have been in the breeding world be it horses, dogs, cats, goats, etc. since I was a child growing up on a farm so I am can very much appreciate your intteligents and integrity in your comment, thank you! and yes, Al Shai is a pure gentlement.

  • i like the one horse wwith the black head white body and brown bum :P

  • i still love this video and i havent seen it in awhile

  • He's Like Woo Ladies 1 at a time or maybe 100 at a time lol x

  • He is beautiful! You are a great rider, and what a wonderful horse! Don't ever lose him!

  • Thank you! I feel the same way, he is so special to me, he is my best friend and I am blessed to have him.

  • I would be happy to answer your question, it sort of requires a broad response though because each stallion is different and each situation different and a lot can depend on bloodlines, temperment, the amount of handling and training the stallion has had, etc. Most stallions act up around mares, and if the mare is in heat, they act up even more. Some are true gentlemen. Many calm down as they get older. I used to have a quarter horse gelding that was gelded late and he was aggressive.

  • Thank you

  • I had a question I have never owned a stallion only mares and gelding and I know stud do act up around mares and when they want to breed but on a reagulary bases how do they act I have a gelding who got gelded late I guess and act very studdish always acts up around them and follows them around

  • he seems so well behaved :)

some of the stallions where I ride have to be separated because they go mad around mares

  • hes stunning is he or has he been at stud

  • Thank you! Yes he has been at stud and still is.

  • You are so kind, and very intuitive too. He really does love me, when I call his name and he is in the back field, even late at night and it is dark out, he winnies a response and gallops towards my voice, stopping in front of me and bowing his head into my hands. He is an amazing best friend.

  • wow thats amazing

  • He seems not to be too interested, even shying away at 1:38 - just to give you an opportunity to show how well you react (after having been entirely relaxed until then). Very safe seat, Julie!

No interest in his ladies? Well perhaps it is, because he loves his rider so much?

(At least his body language shows clearly, how much he likes to move under that rider.)

  • awesome :)
