nice job, i was just thinking you would do a nice job of big rock candy mountain by harry mcclintock, its ine of my favorite country songs to play and it would sound good with your voice, if your interested in my tab of it let me know. ithought it was in D for a while but its actually C with capo on 2nd fret.
@sesabean Hey, man! I actually started messing around with McClintock's version of this song as well. The open C position with a capo on the second fret works out to D, anyway, so you were spot on in terms of the key. I may try to work it out a little first before looking for tab, but if I get stuck, I might come knockin''! Thanks again!
Hey Rob!! Like the pick'n you got going on..Well done my friend!!!..I have to agree with manriq47,,You might want to research your family tree..You sure got the talent!!!..Well done Rob..
i love this old song, its one I' seem to have known all my life and brings back so many memories of my dad who used to sing and play it when I was a Kid. He didn't drink or gamble or womanise but seemed to relate to these old blues story (true story) songs. he was a big Leadbelly fan among others. You've done a great job with it, thanks for sharing it :-)

Thanks, Shane! Glad you enjoyed it. Trying to branch out just a little bit, but not too far out of the 20's-30's :-)

Must be a long lost Carter Family relative. Lucky for us, you were found. Loved the closing yodel, because you do it so well. - Mark
