My friends and I have seen plenty of fandoms. Anime/manga, yaoi, furry, comics, video games, etc and NONE of them have had the same level of crazy violence that the Twilight fandom has.
Oh god, I completely love you for this. I too am a huge fangirl but I would never attack any one if they didn't like any of my fandoms. A friend of a friend insulted Eddie Izzard, John Barrowman and Russell Brand in the course of a single conversation and I died a little bit inside, but I respected her right to feel differently than me.
Can't type much on here but I can summarize. It was a few weeks ago I actually was attacked like I told you all. At work, early morning shift. Three girls, one blond two of her friends. They were raving, demanding, not asking.. demanding my opinion. I went through the standard 'Can't have biased opinions on product clause'. Didn't cut it.
I said I read them and didn't care for it. She took the pen that she was using to write a check for her purchase [Special DVD Twilight] [c]
[c] And stabbed the center of my left hand. Loss Prevention was what kept the rest of the girls from their assault, I got out with a bleeding hand and some bruises. Though the pen had caused some minor damage to the veins in my hand, and some damage to my knuckles as well which was why I needed a cast so the veins could heal up and the bones would seal properly.
I really wish I could get the following court records for you too.. but also there was no newspaper add, well not for long, there was one of those little side notes along side the big ones. It wasn't considered significant enough for front page news.

I've been cast free for almost 3 weeks now.
