  • Paris fidèle à sa réputation, bien joué!

  • Yes, the score now on the Olympic torch relay is now 6 to 3.

6 for world peace (Kazakhstan, Turkey, Russia, Argentina, Tanzania, Oman)

    3 for world chaos (U.K., France, U.S.)

Not surprisingly, the latter are the "Three Hypocrisies", preaching their human rights and freedom, while invading Afghanistan or Iraq. Expect to be stuck there for years.

  • Do the D.A.N.C.E.

  • 1, 2, 3, 4 FIGHT! :D

  • Beside the fact that regarding the past china was surely much more violent than tibetan monks in the last 60 years, I dont understand why you hate the Dalai-Lama, all he wants is AUTONOMY not INDEPENDANCE.

  • FREE DOM-TOM!

    FREE PARIS!

  • Free Japan!Free Japan! Oh! i'm sorry^^ Free T-Back!Free T-Back! What? Oh! i'm sorry-_- Free to Bed!Free to Bed! Wrong again? Oh shit! OK, ahhhh~~~ i don't wanna the 50 dollers~~

  • Yes, extinguish that evil torch!

Seriously, I would like to see those protesters make the same kind of effort to protest against their own governments. It's not like France, the US or the UK had no centuries' long history of invading, occupying and exploiting countries, committing mass murder or supplying insane dictators with arms.

You might want to clean up your own mess first. But you might meet a bit more resistance from the authorities then.

  • fuck paris

  • fuck you, They have more balls than you do to stand up to this problem you communist loving bastard

  • ça fait plaisir de voir tous ces français qui manifestent

    FREE TIBET !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • free tibet 2008

  • I was in Tibet in 2001 I worked in an orphanage north of Lhasa, all these Tibetan kids had had their whole families killed by the government for unknown reasons ...

I got so disgusted I decided to by a bicycle and cross Tibet to Nepal through the friendship highway and Everest ... I had to cross police checkpoints at night coz what I was doing was illegal ...

Illegal because foreigners unlike conditioned Chinese citizen can't visit Tibet freely, Tibetan are deprived of freedom, so yes u

  • Give your evidence, donot tell lies!

  • you have to provide more information than this.

  • Good for you, France! A small but significant victory by the informed and thoughtful world.

If Tibetans are "caught" with a photo of the Dalai Lama, they are arrested, tortured and often shot. It is happening.

Only some big governments and many big businesses fear Beijing's wrath. The rest of the world stands against China's aggression in Tibet (and its support of guerillas in Darfur and the military aggression in Burma).

Urge your leaders to boycott the Genocide Olympics 2008.

  • shame on France. thats all i can say.

  • Athlets have a right to participate at the Olympic Games.

Reporters have a right to cover what will happen in China and Tibet.

Tibetans have a right to be free.

Chinese have a right to speak freely and be informed freely.

Human rights shall be respected by all, for most of countries signed the Human rights declaration at the UN (as well as China).

That's all there is to say.

  • Fuck these people

  • thank you France for ur support.

  • You know what you forget to report? How one of the Tibetan supporter repeatly attack and hit a female torch holder in a weal chair, while trying to grab the torch from her hand.

  • i truly respect that girl and the man behind her.shame on those ppl who tried to attack her.how dare they tried to attack a disabled girl and a blind guy!!!where r there humanity?!

  • China has betrayed the world with it's broken promises of better human rights. We should all ignore it and go home and watch television and do nothing because thats the easy thing to do...

  • The protesters should be full of shame as they are taking advantage of Olympics and attempting to ruin an event belonged to the people of the whole world rather than blessing it!

  • Speak to the Dalai Lama: how hard can it be to hear someone else's opinion ?

Especially one who has only ever espoused non violent protest.

What can you possibly have against that ?

    Other than Tiananmen Square obviously...

  • Many nations have more than 60 Ethnic groups. However, Their Ethnic groups are not joined by force. They are free to speech, free to protect their heritate culture & language, freedom of religion, and have full & complete & real human rights. They can criticize/change their government by vote/media/internet without fear. Any Ethnic group around the world that does not have real & complete human right such as Tibet, should declare Independent, should give their blood for their next generation.

  • Could you give examples about nations with over 60 Ethnic groups?

  • want to let Tibet declare independence?then go back to slavery society?that's what you what?do some reading before speak.what do u know?have u ever been to Tibet?do u know how do we help the people there to develop the economy?do u know how much effort we put to build the railway to Tibet?do u know how many graduate students give up their opportunity to get job with high salary just because they want to go to Tibet to help the education there?dont show that u r stupit in such a straight way,ok?

  • i admit that i don't know an awful lot about Tibet, but i know that every country should have freedom and not live under a oppressive Regine.

  • let me tell you we have freedom in China!!! we r not living under an oppressive regine!!!

  • oh yeah? Well when your in china again why dont you google tianamen square massacre. See how many search results come up. There isnt even a free internet in china, much less a free or healthy society.

  • sorry, theres no tianamen square in china.but theres a tiananmen square.you judge on the chinese media just by the tiananmen squre massacre?how simple that is.btw,do u like some media which reports unfairly and tell people the opposite side of the truth and show their opinion about sth without studying the history?that's what u guys called freedom?talking about tiananmen square, what the US government did to solve the problem in Los Angeles in 1992?

  • ben pourquoi dans ta page personel, il y a écrit que tu es des états unis??

  • ancient greeks respected the Olympic cease fire. how sad that in this day and age, Coubertin's ideal is not even supported in his own country.

  • free tibet, yeah how ironic. little kids, read some histories about pre-1951 tibet before say free tibet. don't just be brainwashed by movies like 'seven years in tibet'. if anyone has freed tibet for the first time, it was the chinese!

  • So you think that we love Tibet because of Brad Pitt! I am astonished by the lack of arguments some chinese take here and by their naivetè.

  • ok, so it seems that you at least know a bit about pre-1951 tibetan history compared to the rest. then, supporting a feudal theocracy country with 10 times worse human rights record than the current chinese ruling is just great. i agree that there are still human rights issues needed to be solved in tibet, but you say you love tibet, just remember that most of them suffered much more under the dalai lama ruling. love an idealogy is one thing, but facing the truth is another!

  • I am mesmerized by this video. Hold on hold on. We can make it!

Thanks brothers; from Berlin, Rome, Wien, Madrid.

    I love Tibet

  • I think the Chinese Olympics will be the smallest, less broardcasted Olympic Games ever created and played out.

    FREE TIBET - SHOOT CHINA

  • Thanks to all France people with their undoubtedly balanced instinct and their courageous determination to indicate us what medievally brutal regimes do with OLYMPIC GAMES as an alibi for their lying political systems...We in Europe we have had two wars and years of oppressions at the expense of so much young soldiers died in senseless battles. Think about it (!)

  • Don't you think you are very STUPID for supporting some cause that you don't know at all???!!!!

Seriously,I mean this is simply STUPID!

  • What do you know about Tibet and Human Rights? This is the actual question. Be quite.

  • Dude, I've been there and seen everything! By the way, I am not Chinese; but I am just tired of all this BS you are talking about - because most people don't know nothing about Tibet. You know what? Hijacking Olymics is the thing annoys me the most. Have you thought about all the athlets who have prepared this for years?

For those French people, where were they when German invaded their country? Were they protesting? :) What a shame!

  • Were YOU there when French soldiers died, massacred by nazis? THIS comparison is a shame!

  • Good point! OK, I apologize for the French comment.

However, based on your logic, what are these people doing? For something they've never expereinced or seen? Is that a shame?

Let's enjoy the Olympic Game, and don't bother me with all this BS.

  • Thank you Paris.

    Free Tibet

    from Japan

  • Paris look for us, what is justice

    what is citizen power.

    Thank you PARIS.

  • just got call from my dad in paris...they didn't let the torch go thru streets...later they had to get the torch into a bus.

  • THANK YOU PARIS...!

  • Good for you, France! A small but significant victory by the world outside Beijing's lair.

If Tibetans are "caught" with a photo of the Dalai Lama, they risk being arrested, tortured and shot. It is happening. Only some big governments and many big businesses fear Beijing's wrath. The rest of the world stands against China's aggression in Tibet (and support of guerillas in Darfur).

Urge your leaders to boycott the Genocide Olympics 2008.

  • what a shame that u use olympic as a political threat!

  • fantastic!
