Hmm...a 1446L and red heels combined with awesome camera work and a great song, I love it. Say what you want about baritone singers, this is really, really great.
I also had this song recommended. It's pleasant enough, but I've gotta hate on it a bit. It's all style, no substance. Drones the same 3 messy chords the entire song, doesn't change up the drums or the stylishly anemic melody. Admittedly it achieves a really cool mood, but to me, it comes off a little lazy. Contrast this song with Tighten Up by the Black Keys or Little Bit of Feel Good by Jamie Lidell.

This song kinda dupes you in the beginning. You sort of don't pay attention to the song until midway through and then you're like "wow, this is an amazing song" and listen to it again.

I also had this song recommended. It's pleasant enough, but I've gotta hate on it a bit. It's all style, no substance. Drones the same 3 messy chords the entire song, doesn't change up the drums or the stylishly anemic melody. Admittedly it achieves a really cool mood, but to me, it comes off a little lazy. Contrast this song with Tighten Up by the Black Keys or Little Bit of Feel Good by Jamie Lidell.

@audiotrax2000: its funny how you come here criticizing people for liking a ban as The National and a song as Apartment Story while the fuck load of happy comments come to bands that sound terribly flat, monotone and sincerely lyrics-less, I could listen to all your "good songs" play-list and if there where no pauses between them I would think they where the same song. Actually what I should have said is you're right: "nobody that loves this music gives a shit though".
It sums up the mentality of the You Tube generation that doesn't know that all this bands song ideas are just warmed over Joy Division, including the visuals. You buy it because it's music that doesn't matter, and it suits you.
