I used it right now on Fallen Heroes, it didnt do any damage on russian kv-1, but soldiers nearly exploded, really fun to engage infantry with that gun. 34 : 3 says everything <3
can anybody tell me why nobody on earth or on youtube actually has the scope on their ptrs? i played cod5 and it had the scope on it, just wonderin y nobody has it
@csvanquishftw First of al this is a PTRD, not a PTRS (bolt action single fire instead of semi-auto 5 mag). There were some with scopes but why would anyone ever need it? It's an anti-tank rifle for christ sake, It's bullets need enough power to deeply enter an enemy tank so it's useless to go long range. Hence the Russians didn't use them to such extent, add to that that a scope is rather expensive and certainly one that can withstand such forces so it was really rare, don't believe cod so much
@AwesomeDutchGuy they tested them with scopes and it just shattered them so they never used scopes. They were hardly ever used to shoot through armor. It main use was to shoot the treads off of the tank.

@nekodajames sorry for writing this, im 10 months late with this. well, in cod 1 (which was the best) there is such a anti armor rifle in one of the missions. cod 4 is not that bad at all, but cod 6 and cod 7 sucks, i agree. cod 1 is good, cod 2 is boring, cod 3 is not for computers and i did not played cod 5. GoodBye
You aim with the binoculars and just swap to the weapon, deploy it and fire while not moving the mouse.
Killed loads of people this way. On static targets its even better than the sniper rifle because the binoculars has better optics, the bullet arch/spread is smaller and the at round does more damage.
Dont use effects next time, it fucked everythung up

@djblack1995 not russians, after war some part take americans, they change ammo to .50 and put scopes to it to do improvised sniper rifles

Its not that hard.
