One obvious negative : the alarms will not activate on WinMobile platform when the phone is switched off unlike Sony Ericsson's. Which means if you switch off at night, there will be no morning call alarm to wake you from your sleep. Microsoft needs to do more for such a critical function of a cell-phone.

u do on this one and blackberries($30) but on other ones like the rouge u could pay either 9.99 for 25 mb or 20.00 for 75 mb. Or u could not pay at all which would get you a lg env touch or lg env3. I love the rouge so far and i only had it since Saturday.

This OZONE looks pretty good and a good price. I currently have an HP pda that I use mostly for calendar and contacts. . Syncing with ms outlook. It also has ms mobile for documents and wi-fi which I use on occasion. My phone is a basic LG phone. I would like to get one device to replace these two devices. Not really. I mean it costs a shitload more, this is only $50, but I've had both, and their pretty much the same for most uses. This is actually much better hardware wise (less cheap feeling plastic, easier to use keyboard.) The Tour only really makes a difference when it comes to email. And I don't use that on my phone, so for me this is actually a better phone for cheaper.

2 Days on full charge. And I don't know why it's a downgrade, it's actually a nicer phone (better made, less cheap feeling, easier to use keyboard) with most of the same software. The Tour is only really better when it comes to e-mail.

I would recommend getting the blackberry or if you are with verizon get the samsung omnia it has a windows mobile 6.1 professional OS the camera is 5.0 Megapixel for a 150 dollars more then this one it is worth the price this phone is a low ball for HTC i wouldnt recommend it for a business man but the e-mail client on there is nice easy to read you can change some of the setting just make sure when you do set up your e-mail on it dont delete the contacts off your phone that is to the e-mail

I would say get the Omnia i have had issues with this phone I am currently on my 3rd phone from verizon all of them have been Ozone brand new non has been refurbished ever phone i get has an error that pops up its an HTCActivityLogExe.exe error and while i have spoke with HTC about this problem they have no idea what is causing it and they have said its a possible Software problem

as of november of 2008 every smartphone released after that date, requires a data plan. if you get a smartphone released before that date, no data plan is needed.

actuallly if you get any smartphone, you are requied by verizon to get a data plan. i learned out the hard way. even if you purchase one online or from ebay or from someone else, as long as the smartphone was released after nov 2008 you need to get a data plan no matter what, the minimum is 29.99. ive heard people bargaining with the sales associates about losing the data plan, and just block data usage. but i doubt thats possible. this phone would require a minimum of 30 bucks extra a month.

Just got mine today. Been playing with it on and off all day and I'm pretty pleased so far. I am coming from a VZ6700 and a Treo 650w prior to that. So it's a little weird not having a touch screen. I do like that Verizon has unlocked the GPS and so far it works great with google maps. Another great point, it was only $50. Certainly worth the money especial when things are tight.
