I seriously refuse to believe that nobody back in the studio in Yerevan said "Hey guys, the chorus actually sounds like the soundtrack to an 80's porn film and damages the whole song!!" The fact that Armenia happened to have a jaw-droppingly baffling song, and then the SAME YEAR Azerbaijan WON with a song that was 'okay', seriously makes my suspicion that politics are really what's the drive behind Eurovision grow all the more.

Haha, i remember when i saw that one. When it started i was like "hmm this one can be good" and then when this "BOOM BOOM CHAKA CHAKA" refrain kicked in i almost fell off my chair ;) It is hilarious! It really surprise me, that it didn't make it to the final, but today it's the only song i actually remember from all that contest :) I can't even remember which song won, but this one... i guess i'll remember forever! The song would qualify if televote only was used. It came 8th in televote. Juries weighed it down. Plus unfortuately there were sound problems during the first 5 songs. Armenia was one of these songs.
