Everyone needs a good dose of healthy respect for water, ESPECIALLY currents, the silent killer. Could be rapidly moving water underneath, and look perfectly clam on the surface. Trust me, I fell for that mistake. Luckily I had other friends with me. I was in a river that was known to be calm and slow moving, but they were building a new highway nearby that change the water current underneath. Couldn't even see the difference from above.

Navy SEALs... On some missions they jump from a perfectly good plane, land in water, swim 7 miles, walk 20 miles across the jugle or desert, just to face someone who wants to kill them. Sounds like bullshit? Not to me.
