  • when i kept my ball stop on it fell off so do i just glue it or leave it like it is

  • thats real simple and easy,, one question tho, if you get a stracth or scuff, will the die come off and show white or stay that tangerine orange colour?

  • you dont hav to take yhe mesh out and it wont get harder or softer and you can jus keep the shaft on it wontrust or get painted

    mine wont work

  • your not really supose to take them off. but you can always hot glue it.

  • i hav a light blue head can i still dye it another color

  • yeah you can go light to dark, but if you have a dark colored head its not going to work

  • thanks a lot man, i just did my head and it looks way tight. anyone that wants to dye their head make sure you use RIT dye, other stuff doesnt work

  • i wanted to dye my fiddle stick head. my friend tried to dye his but it didnt work. your head sank my friends floated. do you know why????????

  • Comment removed

  • Just attach a couple gram weights to the head

  • you didnt even do any desighn or anything it was very good but with no decine it wont tell the person watching everything to know about dyeing

  • thank yo! this helped so much bc i have been trying to dye a few of my heads orange but they keep coming out red...ice cream man!

  • dream-cicle?

  • i hate the spitfire but u seem to know what u r doin good job next time use a different head maybe?

  • where can i buy the rit dye?

  • AC Moore or any other craft store. Its probably also available online.

  • @wrestlingfreak33 also its at rite aid, CVS pharmacy and mabye safeway

  • i think pretty much every tutorial ive found has something in it that just ruins it, wether a step in the process is unclear, or the filming is bad and you cannot tell what the person is doing.

but this is a great tutorial man! im planning on doing my first dye job once i buy my new head in about a week.

    thanks alot!

  • i heard that dying the head could weaken it and make it more prone to breaking, is this true?

  • I'm not sure exactly. I can't imagine it drastically weakening the plastic of the head, but I can't say for sure.

  • @waitingforsynergy it doesnt at alll

  • i have a pink head but want to dye it white. do they sell RIT dye that's white? if not how can I change my stick head to be white? i want it to be really white. like pure, solid white. how do i do this??

  • They don't have a pure white color. Even if you could find one, you can't really go from a darker color to a lighter color. You can just go from lighter to darker and even then it won't come out exact.

  • @WickedRealBostonian bleach it!

  • @WickedRealBostonian you can get dye remover dont listen to this guy he does not know what hes talkin about

  • @WickedRealBostonian try bleaching it! that could work

  • @WickedRealBostonian Bleach it

  • @WickedRealBostonian you can try bleaching the head....

  • wouldnt the head warp if you leave it in the boiling water?

  • I've never had any problem with it warping. The head shouldn't warp because nothing is bending it. It is just sitting in the hot water. Also, when you add cool water to the pan to fill it, that would offset the heat.

  • my head snapped but i can still use it, can i dye that? And can we clean the head anyway we want like with a sponge and regular soap?

  • Yea soap and water work best. I recommend using a nylon sponge because a regular sponge just won't cut it. Goo-Gone comes in handy for stickers and the adhesive on the back of the ball stop because soap and water won't get that out. But otherwise, clean it in any way that won't damage the head. So, don't use laquer thinner or anything that would hurt the plastic.

As for your snapped head, as long as it is plastic, you can still dye it.

  • Not bad, just in very few spots. The pan used for this tutorial was previously used to dye a different head blue. So, as you can see, it doesn't really stain the pan. You may notice a few spots after but you could still do another head in a different color later.

  • Does it stain the pan?

  • i dont think its the best idea to cook a turkey in the pan after you dye your head...
