So basically, the idea is that, in The Dark Descent, Daniel gave himself Amnesia to save himself and a chance at retribution, but in Justine, she gave herself amnesia for her own sick enjoyment of a little self-made game?

@HammerNHook Depending on your view. This is either her way of entertaining herself, or its her way of finding out if she can be considered human again. (In my opinion she failed that test the moment she tortured the suitors.)

I've actually heard that there is a slight glitch in this part of the game, its when your close to the door to get out (not the other door thats jammed) but when you get there, that freaky chase music occurs everytime, even if Basile didn't hear you.

None of the suitors are actually dead. Justine tortured them to the brink of death, then they were forced to stay at that state. Basile that we saw in this video, is blind. (Justine blinded him) Alois is in deep love with Justine, in fact, he cut himself multiple times to prove her that their love is eternal. Malo, i dont know much about him.

Malo is the suitor whose mental state is the most depleted. After Justine ruined his musical career by causing his inebriation before his biggest performance, he broke down. He has resorted to cannibalism and if you are killed by him during an encounter you can hear him devouring you. He has been mangling and eating his own flesh to satisfy his hunger. If you go into his cell you can see blood and flesh all over the place. whether it's his or a victim's is unclear.

Basile was probably the most sane of the three suitors, at least his reaction is pissed off, a pretty reasonable reaction for a guy in his situation.

Its really dark in that game how can you see what you are doing at times?

@Amberstar911 The darkness is probably partly due to the quality of the video. I had to put everything on the lowest possible settings just so I could get a decent framerate while recording with Fraps. But, the game adjusts if you're in a dark area for long enough, much like your own eyesight. :D
